Fantastic experience: I love Punta Umbría beach. It is large, beautiful, accessible, and this year it had showers. There are many beach bars around and easy parking to get to the beach. Perhaps it would be interesting if the access went further towards the sea. It falls short.

Negative experience: IMPOSSIBLE TO PARK - SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT

Positive experience: The beach is beautiful!! The only thing is that when you swim there are a lot of seaweeds and the water is not very clear, that's why you can't snorkel. But the water is cool and there are beach bars, very nice. However, I recommend some beaches that are in Punta Umbría, which are more beautiful and not crowded, with parking, and the water is free of seaweeds and clear.

Negative experience: Dirty beach, pebbles in the sea, plastics, potato chip wrappers, straws, cigarettes, etc.. There should be maintenance since whether they like it or not, some people are dirty and throw everything there.

Fantastic experience: The dog beach between Punta Umbría and El Portil is a WONDER that should be replicated all over Spain. A greater presence of the cleaning service to collect the bins would be perfect. People are very careful and civic!

Fantastic experience: Playa muy amplia, con chiringuito y duchas, ideal para ir con la familia. También admiten mascotas

Positive experience: No entiendo por qué no se permiten perros.

Negative experience: A pesar de los largos km de playa de los que presume Punta Umbría, solo tenemos un huequecito en una zona al final del pueblo, en una parte de la ría donde el baño y el paseo es impracticable por su suciedad y porque cuando baja la marea solo encontramos fango, clavos, hierros y cristales, para ir con nuestros perros. Siempre se ha solicitado que se acote una zona cerca del espigón para disfrutar de nuestras familias al completo y lo único que tenemos como respuesta es una multa de la policía local. Se alega que el motivo es la higiene, pero no se ponen cubos de basura ni papeleras a lo largo de toda la línea de playa. Aunque los hoteles os permitan el acceso a vuestras mascotas en sus instalaciones, mejor es que no hagáis turismo en este pueblo, pues solo podréis dar un paseo por sus calles, nada de disfrutar de la playa ni de la ría. Lo siento. Yo, como puntumbrieña, me avergüenzo de mi Ayuntamiento y su política restrictiva y recaudatoria.

Fantastic experience: A kilometer-long beach of fine yellow sand with remnants of sea shells, extending from the port to the municipality boundary of El Portil. This beach belongs to the municipality of Punta Umbría, located about twenty kilometers away by car in the province of Huelva. The beach has several beach bars offering typical regional cuisine. There are houses, but they are not crowded, which makes for a comfortable and tranquil beach even in the high season.

Fantastic experience: Playas de Punta Umbría...para mí,son el séptimo Cielo,donde se puede uno recrear con Madre Naturaleza,como por ejemplo,la playa de los Enebrales o una playa totalmente abierta,digna de visitar... la playa de Canaleta muy cerca de la bocana de la entrada de los barcos de pesca (espigón)que llevan a la Lonja de aquí,sus capturas de pescados, gambas,pulpos,etc,etc. Canaleta es una playa ancha que tiene una anchura especial y muchos kms.de litoral,de arena fina,blanca,dorada muy grata de pisar al pasear. Tiene infinidad de chiringuitos y restaurantes (a mí me gusta y me encanta el Miramar)con una extensa variedad de productos que tienen y que proceden de... justo enfrente de ellos...el mar. La limpieza y la vigilancia de los socorristas,policía local,nacional y de la Guardia Civiles continua y sin molestar... sólo vigilar que todo vaya bien..y haya paz..y como decía el buen presentador Joaquín Pratt...¡ a jugaaaarrr ! y que yo resumo con ¡a disfrutar!

Positive experience: Es una playa muy extensa donde te cansarás a caminar si la quieres recorrer entera. Como punto negativo, hay bastantes conchas en toda la playa (dependiendo la zona más o menos) lo que puede hacerla algo incómoda. El agua está fresca y el tiempo no es un calor agobiante ni mucho menos. Tiene algún chiringuito, porterías, redes, alquiler de barcas, etc. Tiene bandera azul y hay socorristas.

Fantastic experience: Excelente playa, lástima que no estén los servicios de SOCORRISTAS, aún. Solo están a partir de julio, vergonzoso un Ayuntamiento que sólo quiere recaudar dinero, pero que tiene abandonadas las playas, que además de no haber socorristas, no tienen contenedores de basuras distribuidos a lo largo de ella. Como los había hace años, da pena ver como queda la playa de basuras (latas, bolsas, botellonas).

Fantastic experience: Está limpia, el agua calentita, y hay espacio de sobra para mantener la distancia de seguridad entre los bañistas. Recomendable 100%

Fantastic experience: Enorme playa, ventosa y con bastante oleaje. Perfecta para surfistas. Tiene cerca muchos restaurantes y chiringuitos para comer o tomar algo.

Fantastic experience: La playa supera los 130 m fácilmente cuando te vas acercando al espigón. Aquí el espacio no es un problema. Es una playa masificada en agosto, el resto de meses es una buena opción para los amantes de la naturaleza. El turismo principal es nacional, esto es una "hidden gem" u "off the beaten path" para el turismo internacional. Aquí no afecta el viento de Levante como en Cádiz, el buen tiempo está mucho más asegurado. Las olas suelen ser muy pequeñas, por lo que es ideal para viajar con niños, eso sí, no esperes hacer surf. Los deportes que se pueden hacer aquí son Kite Surf, Windsurf... aunque el viento no es tan fuerte como en Cádiz. Olvídate de hacer snorkel, el fondo es arenoso, nada de rocas, no hay visibilidad. La playa es ideal para hacer Paddle o Kayak. En mi opinión, la mejor época para visitarla es septiembre.

Alquiler de patines, asistencia de urgencias. Eso sí, muchas conchas y unas mareas que hacen ganar o perder a la playa hasta 100 metros.

Negative experience: Si tienes perro puedes ir sin problema,ademas la tradición año tras año es comer pipas y tirarlas a la arena.

Negative experience: Precioso sitio echado a perder por la dejadez de las instituciones y el público... Playa sucia, pasan la maquinaria solo para "alisar", ahí quedan cáscaras de pipas, colillas, etc... Visto hoy 29 de julio de 2020. Pubs con cachimbas y gente sin mascarilla... Gente alimentando palomas en la playa... Ya se porqué no hay bandera azul.
