Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Galicia and Spain. The weather at the end of September and beginning of October is very rainy and humid, somewhat cool; nevertheless, I had a wonderful few days and I can imagine that the beach in summer must be very beautiful and cooler than the Mediterranean. It is quite close to Muros and Finisterre. Strolling around there is a delight, and the people are very, very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach where you can enjoy a splendid day with several kilometers to walk and enjoy the Galician paradise... it has protected dunes that are a biosphere refuge with a long boardwalk crossing it to access the beach. If the optimal conditions are met, at night in August you can enjoy the sea of ardor which is a whole spectacle of nature, seeing the sea with its characteristic blue luminescence!!! A whole show both day and night. Also, it's close to the famous Ézaro waterfall.

Fantastic experience: The best beach in Galicia, it has 8 kilometers, fine sand, some waves. The parking is small for the large beach it is. When the tide goes out, you have to walk a lot to reach the water but that's the least of it. Highly recommend arriving early and without rush to find a place to park.

Fantastic experience: A spectacular beauty, but go at low tide so the water is warm; otherwise, it is impossible to even dip your toes in because it's so cold.

Negative experience: Neither crystal clear waters, nor semi-unknown, nor practically anything that is said online is true. There is nowhere to park at any of the access points, there are no services, and children (and adults) defecate where they can. The water yesterday, August 10th, was murky, cold, and with the sunscreen of hundreds of people suspended in it. And don't believe the hype about the sea of ardor, I went on the recommended days at the recommended times and barely saw anything other than disappointed people with their phones at the ready. Very unpleasant, it is a wonderful beach that is not prepared to receive the influx of people arriving in a town with insufficient accommodation, dining, surveillance, and parking spaces. Not to mention the accumulation of garbage in the few containers. A disaster that will end badly if measures are not taken. For boot lining, the camper vans roam freely and the sparse local police cannot cope with the invasion.

Positive experience: The beach is amazing. After many years wanting to go, I finally got to see the glowing sea yesterday. The downside is that this phenomenon has become very popular and with so much interest, the beach was packed with people at night, who just dazzled others with their mobile phone flashlights, making it harder to witness the spectacle. Not to mention the shouts they let out, in a wild style, every time a wave turned blue, and it's a shame because it's magical to see how suddenly the sea lights up. Certainly, with a little more civility, everyone could enjoy this natural wonder without bothering others.

Positive experience: Wonderful open beaches, we were lucky and the sea was as smooth as a plate, although they say it can be dangerous due to currents. Clean and cold waters, a marvel. It is 7 km of beach, in the area where I was there was neither lifeguard service nor flags indicating the beach status for swimming. We were there in August, no problems finding parking and not crowded with people, just be careful with mosquitoes at sunset when returning to the parking lot, there is a marsh and if there is no breeze you come back with a few bites if you don’t have repellent.

Fantastic experience: Playa muy grande y muy bonita. Antes se podría ir con tus mascotas, pero ahora lo han prohibido. Está prohibido ir con la mascota desde las 11h a las 22h. Es una playa sin humo. Tiene varias entradas y varios aparcamientos.

Negative experience: Today I visited this place for the first time and I was honestly speechless at the amount of trash everywhere, mostly thrown there by the sea after the storm. I find it incredible that people do not realize the problem and the worst is the lack of civic sense and awareness regarding this issue that no one taking a stroll is capable of picking up even a plastic bottle or anything. It is already common for us to live surrounded by trash, I can only imagine in the summer!!!

When we were there, it was no longer high season and there was no problem with dogs, but otherwise they cannot be there. Like in all the ones we saw that were also prohibited for dogs, and this is something that the administrations should review, at least by delimiting areas for pets. That said, those who are more sensitive to mosquito bites should avoid passing during the late afternoon through a kind of marsh that must be crossed by a walkway to access the beach, because the mosquitoes are fierce and will bite them. And from the village, don’t miss its hórreo, one of the three largest in Galicia.
