Alcudia Beach

Fantastic experience: Platja d’Alcudia is honestly one of the best beaches we’ve been to in Mallorca. The sand is soft and clean, the water is crystal clear and shallow – perfect for swimming or just relaxing by the shore. What really makes it stand out is how well set up it is. There are clean public toilet facilities and even outdoor showers to rinse off the sand, which is a big plus after a day in the sun. The whole area is well maintained and feels really safe and welcoming. There are plenty of lovely local coffee shops and cafés just a short walk from the beach, ideal for grabbing a drink or light bite without needing to head far. Everything feels easy and relaxed – perfect for families, couples, or solo visitors.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, water was cristal clear, and very shallow. Sun beds are really well organised when I went they were €9.1/bed or €18.2/2 beds. Each umbrella has a seif box attached to it, which makes you feel safe leaving your important belongings locked while in the water. This particular portion of the beach was a bit narrower, just 2 rows of sun beds, which was nice

Fantastic experience: Great beach with wide strand. There are toilets and showers but to changing rooms. The water is clear and very nice.

Fantastic experience: Wide sandy beach with shallow waters stretching far into the sea, making it ideal for families with children. Compared to other beaches in the area, Platja d’Alcúdia offers shaded spots along the upper edge, which is a real advantage on hot days. However, it can still get quite crowded, and like elsewhere, there are many illegal beach vendors, though they are generally not very intrusive. We visited with two children (3 and 8), who enjoyed swimming and building sandcastles for hours.

Fantastic experience: Dreamlike beach with the finest sand, no stones and turquoise water. Breathtaking backdrop with mountains and the open sea. Outside of the season, everything is almost deserted and pleasantly quiet. A true gem of nature and island ❤️

Negative experience: It could be so beautiful if there were no tourists who, with the booking of their cheap hotels, believe they have booked every area of life of the locals: the beach, for example. If there were no ball games, hysterical kids along with their ignorant, noisy parents, or non-European massage and beach towel vendors. A few hours of observation there and you understand why civilization is going nowhere!

Fantastic experience: Great long beach with lots of volleyball courts further up towards the town. The sea is very shallow for a long way out, so it's good for very young kids learning to swim and anyone wanting to paddle, bathe, or play games in the sea. Also good for swimming. A few starfish in the sea and fish mostly white colours like other beaches on the West and South coasts. Great spot for a holiday home.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and well-maintained beach. Two sunbeds with a parasol currently cost €18.20. New restaurants are currently being built on the beach. The beach gently slopes into the sea and the water was quite clean during our vacation.

Negative experience: much busier and narrower than the last two years. providers of commercial loungers also take up space.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, white sand. In the morning around 7, there are usually people exercising. The sand is very fine, the kind that is hard to remove....

Fantastic experience: Clean, spacious beach with fine white sand, there are many children and a wide range of water attractions for them. The beautiful views and turquoise waters are a big draw.

Fantastic experience: Enchanting place, crystal clear water, I highly recommend it even for families. It is a huge beach where kids can play volleyball because it is equipped for that. Paradise-like place.

Fantastic experience: Impressive kilometer-long beach with white sand and clear water. It has a wooden walkway and showers. Additionally, there is a shaded area with pine trees. You can also hire and/or rent to do different water activities.

The pandemic is gone, social distancing has proven to help nothing, and people can't gather with their families in the shade. They have to crowd on the sand. Scoundrels!! Positive experience: Super grande plage qui bien sûr est beaucoup fréquenté en été. Pour les parasols et les chaises longues c'est premier arrivé premier servi ( payant ). L'eau est super propre avec une plage de sable doux. Super sympa pour les enfants car même en allant profondément dans la mer vous aviez toujours pied faut vraiment aller super super super loin pour ne plus avoir pied. Je recommande

Positive experience: Em final de férias e para “descansar” antes da viagem de regresso esta praia aqui perto do hotel com um areal extenso de areia branca e sem muita gente com água azul cristalina de se ver o fundo e com uma temperatura . Com nadador salvador presente e comércio do Pueblo a 5 minutos de distância. Estacionar não foi problema e gratuito é só procurar junto ás vivendas perto da praia. Praia familiar ideal para todas as idades. Muito calma e descontraída.

Fantastic experience: Great beach! Nice environment, not too crowded, no loud music and many families. Warm water (24 degrees) and the sun was not too hot. Cristal clear water with no waves good for relaxing and fanilies with small kids.

Fantastic experience: Smilšaina un plaša pludmale. Var gan noīrēt saules sargus ar pludmales krēsliem, gan var doties ar savu aprīkojumu. Vietas daudz, visi var izpausties. Ērta piekļūšana aito var parkot uz blakus esošajām ielām.

Positive experience: Sandy beach (very soft, thus slightly hard) Good for dipping your feet. For the more daring, you can plunge your whole body in if you are willing to sink into the mud up to your knees!

Fantastic experience: Platja d'Alcudia is an absolutely wonderful beach that left us with unforgettable memories! Its white sand and turquoise water made us feel like we were in paradise. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and the view of the surrounding landscapes took our breath away. For us, it’s not just another beach - Platja d'Alcudia was the best among all that we had the chance to visit!

Fantastic experience: The coast is beautiful. The water is clean, beautiful color. It is blue-green along the coastal strip, and changes to darker colors after about two hundred meters. The sea only slowly gets deeper, so that a swimmer can walk for a long time without the water being too deep. The sink is of a beautiful light color, small, fine as in an hourglass.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, the most beautiful beach on the island. The several kilometers long, fine sandy beach with a gentle slope is perfect for children. The waves are mostly moderate, and the beach is monitored by lifeguards. The parking spaces are public and sufficiently available. On weekends, it usually gets busier, as the locals also like to stay there.
