Fantastic experience: A beautiful natural beach that is not overcrowded due to its secluded location. The walk from Colonia Sant Jordi takes about 30 minutes but is very worthwhile. The clear water invites you to swim, and you can enjoy the tranquility.

Negative experience: As often happens, there are roads without precise signs and entrances for residents only. If it were up to me, I would stop giving money to people who don't care about tourism at all.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach with clear water, but at the entrance to the water there are a lot of algae that must be crossed and then it's clean. It can be quite windy at times. I got completely blown away with sand. You can park in Sant Jordi, it's about a 35-minute walk to the beach.

Positive experience: Definitely no nudist beach, absolutely everyone here is at least partially wearing swimwear. You definitely don’t want to be the only one walking around completely naked. Especially unfortunate due to the long walk, all the roads leading directly here are private. Also not a particularly nice beach, there’s stuff from the sea all over the place.

Negative experience: You can't get there by car even though Google Maps says you can. There's a man at the entrance of the private road, not very nice, who won't let you pass. You can only get there on foot.

Negative experience: Not a recommended beach, it is not worth going all the way there. There is a 30-minute walk through paths and sand. Upon arrival, the beach was full of seaweed, bad smell, and many boats. Additionally, there were quite a lot of people, and the beach is not as beautiful as they say. Everyone who arrived suffered the same disappointment.

Positive experience: It's worth walking 25 minutes, absolute tranquility and it's cleaner of seaweed at the beginning; after that, it's a bit more crowded, but you find a good spot and enjoy this wonder.

Positive experience: When I went there had been a rainy few days and there was lots of seaweed everywhere. The beach next to it was better.

Positive experience: A very large, beautiful beach with few tourists, as it can only be reached on foot from the port of Sant Jordi in about 30 minutes. However, during our visit, it was extremely windy. Since we were only there once, I can't say if this is always the case.

Fantastic experience: You have to walk for about 20/30 minutes, but it's worth it because of how the water is, spectacular!

Negative experience: The navigator sends you through roads that are blocked and fenced off. We did not reach the beach after several attempts through different paths.

Positive experience: From Colonia de Sant Jordi, it takes about 45 minutes to walk. The path is comfortable and scenic. The beach is Caribbean fine sand, similar to Es Trenc. Nude bathing is possible, especially in the back part. Now at the beginning of October, the beach was still well visited. Many German tourists, also many families with children. Whether it is the better alternative to Es Trenc, everyone can decide for themselves. If you go further into Es Trenc (between the Colonia hotel zone and Es Trenc parking lot), it was quieter there based on our experience.

Positive experience: We had the pleasure of enjoying Platja d’es Carbó in the middle of October. Our experience there was amazing; its absolutely crystal-clear waters and the relaxed, tranquil atmosphere are the perfect combination. To access it, you need to walk about 20/25 minutes from the port of Colònia de Sant Jordi. In this area, there are no parking meters, so if you are as lucky as we were, parking won't be a problem. You won’t find beach bars and other services, but I assure you that you won’t miss them.

Positive experience: The better alternative to the now completely overcrowded Es Trenc. Less visited, already because there are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. It takes about 30 minutes to walk here from the harbor of Colonia Sant Jordi. What’s good here: fine sand, gently sloping entry into the water, warm water temperatures. Behind the beach, there are no hotels, but forest. In general, it is less crowded here, even on weekends, than at other beaches in the area. Not so good: unfortunately, this beach is also invaded by boats, some with loud passengers (music, shouting, etc...). As with all beaches in the area, there are also patches of Neptune grass here, which emit an unpleasant smell. Regarding the nudist topic: if you expect a real nudist beach here, you should prepare for disappointment. The vast majority of visitors here swim in bikinis and swim trunks. However, it is true that you can easily be here without swimming and sunbathing, and you won’t draw any attention at all.

Positive experience: In my opinion, completely overrated. From the harbor of Colonia Sant Jordi, it takes a good 45 minutes, about 10 minutes almost 'climbing' over stones. Not suitable for the foot-sore and fragile. There is hardly any shade on the way, and almost none at the beach. There is an old bunker where you can try to find some shade, but there are a lot of flies (because there is a lot of trash in the bunker). The water was described to us as 'Caribbean' when we arrived. It was so murky that you couldn't see your knees anymore. Very shallow entrance, plus there were nudist couples and even a couple that was standing up having 'fun', even as people walked by just 5 meters away. Quite strange... Definitely not really recommended if you want to avoid the 45-minute walk for an average beach. Better to choose the other side of Sant Jordi. Much more crowded, but the water is so much better. The advantage of Es Carbó: There were really only 8 people there...

Positive experience: Beautiful beach that can be reached with a 30-minute walk from the port beach along a path that is partly easy and partly with stones and rocks. Clean water and a blue seabed. There are some seaweeds, but only on the bottom and in some areas. Very long beach.

Fantastic experience: Top top! Crystal clear waters and no people. You have to walk about 20 minutes to get there.

Positive experience: The water is very clean and clear. Too many anchored boats and a half-hour walk at a good pace. In August there are also people, not secluded at all, although it is clearly emptier than the town and nearby beaches. The beach has white sand, not the rocky area seen in the photos.

Positive experience: Undeveloped beach. There is no road access only a rugged footpath from Colonia de Sant Jordi (or I assume from the road at Cap de ses Saline’s). A lovely walk which keeps the crowds away. No facilities so take your own water and shade. The footpath takes you along the top of the beach to rocky outcrops and beautiful white sandy beaches with clear blue water. The land behind the beach is all private conservation area, well fenced off from the beach, so ignore any apps which suggest you can access the paths there, just enjoy the walk from St Jordi.

Fantastic experience: How to get the? Park the car around Aquarium Cabrera (Aquatic Center) and walk along the coast line. Easy way, can't get lost or anything. Just keep walking for about 30 minutes Google maps will try to lure you into private road, but it is not open, seriously, only coast line! Beach is beautiful, clear water, amazing view, nice sand with a tiny bit of sea weed. Underwater is still fine and save to walk, 95% soft golden sand. Nudist, naked? Clothing is optional If you want to tan your white a*s it's a great place If you like my review please leave a thumb

Negative experience: We walked almost 45 min in very warm weather to reach the place. But it was windy and not very special as it is told. Platja d'es Dolç, the beach next to this one, where you don’t need to walk at all, was much much better than es Carbo. I think doesn’t worth the effort.

Positive experience: Nice beach, long enough not to be overcrowded. Cons are the amount of kelp in the sand and the stupid amount of boats that come to this area making the water filthy.

Positive experience: Very nice and peaceful beach, but it’s a long way to walk when you’re not a resident. The beach is quite dirty this year. There are always boats nerby the shore. No beach bar or restaurant, bring your drink with you.

Negative experience: Terrible place and the people are rude and unfriendly. The beach is a mess, there's no services or toilets and there's no car parking within 1.5km
