Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, the only downside is the pines in springtime as they have many processionary caterpillars in case you have pets. The sunsets are spectacular.

Fantastic experience: Es mi playa favorita de Vigo: tiene una maravillosa arena blanca y es bastante extensa y con unas aguas bastante cristalinas. Está rodeada de amplias dunas que se han desarrollado gracias a una labor de recuperación llevada a cabo hace ya algunos años, lo que le da bastante privacidad y tranquilidad. En la parte posterior de la playa puedes descansar del sol en su estupenda arboleda, tras la cual hay varios aparcamientos públicos y gratuitos con acceso para silla de ruedas. Tiene en su entorno varios sitios para tomar algo, algunos casi en la misma playa y otros simplemente cruzando la carrrtera; en temporada veraniega se instalan estupendos chiringuitos a pie de playa. En el extremo de la playa, casi pegado al puente que une la isla de Toralla, se puede practicar surf cuando el tiempo es propicio. Además se pueden instalar redes para la hacer voleibol. Cruzando el puente de la isla de Toralla puedes acceder a sus dos playas públicas ya que, por desgracia, la isla es de propiedad privada y por lo tanto con paso sólo para residentes. Esta playa me encanta, tanto en verano como en invierno, ya que desde ella se pueden hacer largos paseos llegando incluso a la playa de Canido que está al lado. Tiene además unas preciosas vistas a las islas Cíes, sobre todo al atardecer.
Fantastic experience: Praia do Vao una de la playas de Vigo que merece la pena por su cercanía a la ciudad , desde el centro en coche unos 15 min y por tener autobuses que te pueden acercar ( cada media hora en verano) , en taxi si van varios es una opción no muy cara . Hay varios restaurantes por detrás de la Iglesia y otros a 5 min caminando. Además de chiringuitos. También se pueden alquilar kayaks, tablas para padel surf y tomar clases en una escuela allí mismo además de ser un lugar ideal para comer , cenar o tomarse algo viendo la playas . En este momento además guardan las normas Covid con garantía y seguridad algo de agradecer y reconocerles . Y además no tiene paseo de cemento !!!! Y conserva el encanto de las antiguas playas intentando recuperar las dunas y paseos de madera.

Fantastic experience: Simply beautiful. Super spacious beach, with fine white sand. Few waves due to the fact that it is not open sea. The seagulls are part of the landscape. I hope my opinion helps.

Fantastic experience: There are parking lots (which tend to fill up during holidays or weekends, but they are large), public transport, a couple of beach bars, another couple of places for tapas, and nearby there are restaurants. The beach is large, with fine white sand, and it doesn't get overcrowded, even volleyball nets are usually set up. There are all kinds of people: families, groups of friends, couples...
Fantastic experience: The water is perfect, a bit warm and clean... the sand is good .. the Beach has a shower area and toilet. the restaurant is so close there and the bus stop. I hope in the future they'll put a sign "Save the animals in the sea,Do not litter"... My experience was wonderful ..
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach close to Vigo, with white sand protected by the island of Toraya (the one with the not so nice story building), crystal clear water. Excellent place to spend the day with restaurants and bars close by.
Fantastic experience: Well did specifically come here because of the reviews on Google and we were not disappointed. The whole area is beautiful and the situation / views from the restaurant is outstanding. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. The service, the views etc. We concentrated on seafood and it was excellent. Incredibly fresh. Very simply cooked but delicious. Price wise good value This is a really good restaurant. The reviews are valid We can on Black Friday in November and it was super quiet but I imagine in the summer you will need to book

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and long sandy beach. It is always very clean and has plenty of space to set up the umbrella and towel, especially when the tide is low. It has lifeguard service, showers, and foot showers.
Fantastic experience: Lo mejor en verano, socorristas y personal para ayuda a minusválidos para meter en el agua y disfrutar del Mar.
Fantastic experience: Amo la playa y esta es muy linda, amplia y tranquila, tiene una arena blanca magnífica. Además, es una playa con bandera azul, otorgada por su excelencia, seguridad y calidad. Es de fácil acceso y puedes llegar en bus. También puedes hacer el paseo hasta la Isla de la Toralla, a través del puente y tomar fotos espectaculares. Para aquellos a los que les gusta la lectura, pueden leer el libro de Domingo Villar 'Ojos de agua", ambientada en esta isla.
Fantastic experience: Aparcas bien, con un poco de paciencia. Mucha arena, socorristas y redes instaladas en la arena para practicar voley o palas. Muchas papeleras y buenos accesos a la playa. Buen paseo con duchas, bancos y césped. Varios chiringuitos donde poder tomar algo. Bocadillos para comer en el bar del campo de fútbol del coruxo, situado frente a uno de los aparcamientos.

Fantastic experience: Playa limpia y cuidada. Cada noche se nivela y limpia con maquinaria. Perfecto para la pesca surfcasting y spinning. Además con aguas limpias y un puente que conecta con la Isla de Toralla. Con 2 playas paradisíacas perfectas para bucear.

Fantastic experience: Para mí, la mejor playa de Vigo. Aguas cristalinas y arena blanca y fina. Dispone de duchas, papeleras, socorristas en temporada de verano, rampas de acceso a personas con movilidad reducida, se puede hacer actividades acuáticas como pádel surf, kayak, etc. Dispone de aparcamiento, aparcamiento para personas de movilidad reducida y también hay transporte público a través de Vitrasa. Hay restaurantes próximos. En verano suele tener bandera azul.
Positive experience: Playa con mucha afluencia. Como todas las playas del entorno de arena clara y fina. Las estupendas vistas de la ria de Vigo y las Islas Cies se ven entorpecidas por la aberrante construccion la Isla de Toralla. Cuenta con chiringuitos, baños, establecimentos dedicados al surf y se realizan actividades deportivas. Existe una amplia zona para aparcar pero como tiene gran afluencia es dificil aparcar en horas punta.Bien comunicada con el centro de Vigo con autobús urbano. En uno de sus laterales se pueden visitar unas ruinas romanas. Interesante el paseo a la Isla de Toralla ( propiedad privada) y acceder peatonalmente a sus playas.

Positive experience: Buen spot para kite fuera del verano
Fantastic experience: La gran playa natural de la ciudad. Después de un proyecto de recuperación de la duna en el que se eliminaron pistas deportivas y un paseo la playa ha recuperado su aspecto más salvaje. Cuando llegas a la arena cruzando la duna te olvidas de que allí detrás está la carretera y los coches. Sólo las edificaciones de la isla de Toralla, que queda delante de la playa, rompen el encanto del lugar. En menos de media hora se llega en bici desde el centro de la ciudad aprovechando el paseo del Lagares y las callejuelas de Corujo. Es mi playa de referencia para el verano, y para los días de viento y cometa también.
Fantastic experience: Arenal increíble, tiene la arena más blanca q te puedas encontrar. Playa amplia y juvenil, bastante aparcamiento aunque en verano es una locura. También se practica kitesurf con viento del norte pero días contados! Quieren prohibirlo porque dicen que es dañino con el medio ambiente!

Fantastic experience: Ideal porque aparte de la preciosa playa, tiene un bonito paseo y puedes tomar lo que quieras en sus diversos locales de restauración, lugar muy recomendable.
Fantastic experience: Playa de arena fina, con diversos parking para estacionar el coche. El agua es fría como buena playa gallega. Merece la pena pasar un día agradable en ella.
Fantastic experience: Es una de las playas mas limpias de la zona, muy amplia, con zonas verdes con arboles donde poder descansar, tiene un paseo de madera que la conecta con otras playas, con duchas de agua salada y varios lugares donde tomar un refresco e incluso comer. Ambiente de todas las edades, en ciertas épocas del año puedes encontrar gente practicando diversos deportes o corriendo, muy recomendable para ello.

Positive experience: Es genial. Muy amplia. Arena fina agradable. Buena orientación y muchos sitios donde picar algo. Paisaje peculiar con Toralla dominante y el brutalismo arquitectónico por bandera por el edificio plantado en plena costa ( hablo en parte desde la envidia que me provoca el vivir en un sitio como ese en el que me levante y vea esa preciosa porción de costa ). A veces hay algo de viento y eso incomoda un poco. Generalmente es una playa con algunas olas y resulta muy divertida para bañarse.

There is a café, toilet, and shower near the beach. Large free parking, 2 public transport stops. Very convenient and accessible.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. The beach is totally uncomfortable and is not described as it is a beach next to the nudist beach where I felt uncomfortable being with my family. Very frustrating because we thought it was a family beach, but apparently, it is not. Not family-friendly at all. Horrible.

Fantastic experience: Great beach for the morning when the amount of people is very convenient. With several parking lots and beautiful water and views. The sand bank is huge and the sand thin and white as it can be. ❤️
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach! Probably my favorite beach I visited in Vigo. The sand was white and soft. A picture perfect beach that was a long stretch along the water and also to the water making it perfect for strolling. The water is also shallow which is nice for relaxing and wading. I highly recommend this beach, and hope to visit again!!
Fantastic experience: So the water is a little cooler as can be expected for an Atlantic coast beach, but not as much as you would think due to the Islands in the bay holding the water in for longer to heat up, what facilities there are are basic but functional so you can at least wash the sand off and get a drink, sand and water is exceptionally clean given that Vigo is a port city and at 3pm during the week not overly busy, Vigo is one of those places that is criminally under utilised by tourists, which I for one an not complaining about!
