Positive experience: Beautiful river beach, nothing to envy from the beach (and I'm from the Valencia coast). Area with grass and stairs to access the water. There is a designated area for children that doesn't cover. The downside, and that's why I don't give it five stars, is that despite being a river, where the water flows constantly, dogs are forbidden access. And I'm sure that humans pee in the river, something that dogs don't do. I should also add that the dog ban is only for those going with their owners, because there were loose dogs (I guess from the villagers) that were around the area all the time.
Fantastic experience: Good river, quite a lot of grass area, the water is very nice. It has good access from the road.
Fantastic experience: I stopped to eat by chance in Folgoso de la Ribera on a trip to Galicia, and when we finished, a friendly and professional waitress asked us if we had come to spend the day at the River Pool... what a surprise it was when we went down the little stairs where she indicated and saw that wonderful natural pool with a beautiful garden prepared to spend the day comfortably!!! We couldn't continue the trip without taking a dip in the fresh and clear waters. We continued the trip recharged.
Positive experience: If you live around the Bembibre area, it is an ideal place to sunbathe for a while and cool off in the river water. It is very well prepared and maintained, perfect for relieving the scorching summer heat and satisfying your beach cravings.
Fantastic experience: They should expand the stairs to access the bathroom. They are always crowded, and it would be quite easy and not very costly to expand them.

Positive experience: Very nice. We were just passing by, but we couldn't enter because dogs are not allowed. I think there is room to set up a separate area for bringing dogs. They are our family and travel with us.

Fantastic experience: Excelente lugar en la Ribera de Folgoso (León), para pasar la tarde, tumbarse al Sol, o a la sombra y refrescarse...bonito lugar encauzando al Río Boeza....muy bien cuidado, con escaleras para aceder a él e incluso con zona infantil, muy bien aprovechadas las dos orillas del río!!!!
Fantastic experience: Fantástico lugar para tomar el sol y la sombra bajo sus árboles. Río de poca profundidad no apto para nadar pero si para refrescarse en sus aguas cristalinas. Aconsejable calzado de río para no dañarse los pies con las piedras.

Positive experience: The place is very nice for a swim, there is even a designated area that is shallow for the little ones with a slide. The downside is that the water is freezing, so it's best to get in and out quickly. Additionally, every now and then, there are loudspeakers that announce the time at full volume. I understand having a mayor with no taste, but I don't understand why the locals don't smash the speakers with rocks, oh my, what a horror...
