Ondas pequenas. Linda praia.
Negative experience: Terrible for enjoying as a beach. It is great for walking along the promenade... but as a beach it is perhaps the worst I have seen. Older people excuse trying it. There is no sand (although it may seem so), it is gravel (more or less coarse)... walking is terrible after a little while. Bathing is only possible for young people, at the shore, since the gravel makes your feet sink and you have to be skilled to maintain balance. Putting down a towel... is extremely uncomfortable... only a chair. In summer they rent sunbeds and umbrellas from 10 am... the problem is that the guy who attends does not arrive at that time... you pay the same for less time (I have pictures). The worst... THERE IS NO BATHROOM!!!! If you need to use it, and you are at the last entries to the beach, you will have to walk a crazy distance to reach the public restrooms located outside the beach. It took my elderly father 20 minutes, being only 2 entries away from the restrooms. Come on... it's unheard of that a city like this does not have one of its main attractions ready for tourism. Tourists were very angry with this false offer. Incredible. Zero recommendable to come to this city with the purpose of enjoying the beach.
Fantastic experience: It's a wonderful beach with a strong smell of the sea, with very good shower facilities, lifeguards, and access to the sand all along it. It has numerous recycling bins and trash cans. Despite this, there are many plastic remnants on the shore and in the sea. Even bags. What a shame to spoil nature like this, being so easy to avoid.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach in the heart of A Coruña with amazing views. There is a maritime walk from one end to the other (it is the longest one in Europe). There are several areas of the beach that are near rough seas (good for surfing, though). There is a flag system that alerts you to which areas are safe. There are several ways to access the beach, none are wheelchair friendly. Dogs are not allowed in the summer outside of early morning or late afternoon hours.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with fine sand and some large rocks that make it even more interesting, located right in the city center.

Fantastic experience: The Coruña beach, lately they have to be careful that the sea does not invade the streets but they have made a really cool sand wall.

Positive experience: It's an excellent beach, crescent-shaped, although it's dangerous to bathe when the sea is rough. It is located in the city center, which has gradually been expanding in that area. If the weather is good –something that rarely happens– it's splendid and never gets crowded, unlike the southern beaches. The first line of the beach doesn't offer as many 'beach bars' as those in Levante.
Fantastic experience: The rain kept us company from Bilbao for almost 500 km and only gave up at the gates of A Coruña, where we had booked an apartment, Oktheway Ron Fraga Place. Here we faced a complicated digital check-in and an equally complex bluetooth lock. Once we learned how to bypass it... then it was easy! It was a nice accommodation in the city center, equipped with a garage where the motorcycles could rest dry. Shower, dinner at Restaurante A Peneira, with excellent bocadillos and plenty of good beer, and a walk on Praia de Riazor. Here our tiredness was compensated by the incredible shades of a wonderful sunset over Ensenada de Orzàn, with reflections on the water of thousands of city lights and the hypnotic carousel of Faro de Mera. Right away... out with the cell phones and lots of photos of that natural work of art, of those thousand multicolored brushstrokes with which the day was bidding us farewell.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Wild. Rocky. Weather is made, one minute sun, then rain, then Clouds hide mountain tops. Lovely and surrounded by restaurants and cafes.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, big, quiet, clean and well monitored by lifeguards and medical staff. A shoutout to all these people who watch over everyone's safety and are rarely seen.

Fantastic experience: The sea and its marine life, the rocks for snorkeling in the depths, the color of the water, the stone sand, bring you another magnetism, a different frequency, it boosts your energy for exercising, sports, and healing, behind is a wonderful multicultural city, flourishing in its grace. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: It is a relaxing place where you can walk with your family or a place to have fun with friends. I recommend it even if you just want to take a walk alone and think, maybe have a snack or lunch. All in summer, obviously, but in a short time I fell in love with this beach.

Fantastic experience: I love it
Positive experience: Having a beach within the city is an advantage, even if it's not the best beach in the world. It provides relief in the summer to thousands of people both during the morning and in the afternoon. It is well-equipped with services, and other cities would envy it.
Fantastic experience: Amazing! A quiet day which is not common, clear water and the walk over rocks was plenty of marine plant species.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with magnificent waves. You understand why this city is also called the 'city of surfers.' The view of the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking. Day or night, it leaves you with stars ⭐️ in your eyes.

Fantastic experience: Very clean beach and clear water. Very nice to visit.
Fantastic experience: San Juan is unique in A Coruña!
Positive experience: Good beach. Only if it's hot there are people.
Fantastic experience: I love the Riazoz beach, but the bad thing is that there are many jellyfish in the water and I have already had a good scare. They ruin it more each time, the sand looks like a construction site. I go to the beach and I don't even dip into the sea.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, big, quiet, clean and well monitored by lifeguards and medical staff. A shoutout to all these people who watch over everyone's safety and are rarely seen.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful despite the bad weather we had.
Fantastic experience: A large beach, connected to Orzan's beach, and within the city.
Positive experience: The beach is not sand, it's pebbles, very uncomfortable to walk on.
Fantastic experience: Riazor beach is an urban beach in the city of A Coruña (Spain), located in the Orzán Cove. It has the Blue Flag, an award given to beaches with the best environmental conditions and facilities. Its continuation to the northeast is Orzán beach. It is in front of the Riazor hotel.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, the only downside is that the sea is a bit dangerous.
Fantastic experience: The best coast for outdoor exercise, while enjoying wonderful views. Etc...
Positive experience: A big beach in the city center almost. A large sidewalk. You can spend a good afternoon here.
Fantastic experience: The beach is very beautiful and ideal for a stroll and to have a drink.
Fantastic experience: It's the ideal beach to celebrate a perfect San Juan. It was an incredible experience, concerts, bonfires everywhere, sardine barbecue, queimada, fireworks... Highly recommended, we will come back every year.
Fantastic experience: Riazor beach is an urban beach in the city of A Coruña (Galicia, Spain), located in the Orzán Cove.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful
Positive experience: Beautiful views of the city and the bay
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach, just like the city.
Fantastic experience: Nice experience to be in this place (very windy)
Fantastic experience: I immensely loved this beach. If you're looking for a quiet place to think or simply enjoy the scenery, this spot is the best. I went in early June, although it was cold, I enjoyed being there very much.
Fantastic experience: Stupendous
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful
Fantastic experience: Good place to walk
Fantastic experience: A very large beach with beautiful views to the right and to the left.
Fantastic experience: Excellent for walking, swimming, and sunbathing
Positive experience: What can I say about Riazor and La Coruña? I'm not biased. I love it.
Fantastic experience: The Coruña beach, lately they have to be careful that the sea does not invade the streets but they have made a really cool sand wall.
Fantastic experience: It was beautiful April 7, lots of people strolling.
Positive experience: Very beautiful and welcoming beach, but the weather is the worst and every time I came, the red flag was up. I don't like that aspect and I say that a beach where most of the time you can't swim doesn't quite please me.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach in the middle of the city that can be enjoyed from the long and wide promenade
Positive experience: Beautiful and spectacular with its promenade and the finishing touch of the Tower of Hercules
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Very good
Positive experience: Central. I miss having some sun loungers and umbrellas.
Positive experience: Nice and pleasant to walk around its surroundings
Fantastic experience: Without a doubt, the most beautiful urban beach in Spain
Fantastic experience: Beautiful
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and very clean, but on some occasions it has strong waves.
Positive experience: Very beautiful and pleasant
Fantastic experience: In the heart of A Coruña to take a walk along the coast and its promenade.
Fantastic experience: I already miss summer going to this spectacular beach
Fantastic experience: Unique setting in the bay of A Coruña, it has nothing to envy from La Concha beach; quite the opposite. After experiencing both, the environment of Riazor beach is much more beautiful, natural, and photogenic.
Positive experience: Urban beach that is supposed to offer some comfort, if only for its location. Together with Orzán and Matadero, they form a fairly wide stretch of sand. All of this is rewarded with a massive influx in summer, aided by its orientation and the long duration of daylight. It has a good number of showers, ramps, and access stairs. The negative part consists of an unfriendly environment, cold from urban speculation, and a lamentable intervention to compensate for the loss of aggregates, which covered the original surface with another quite rough one that ruins the comfort of the previous one. There is an underground public parking throughout its length and surface parking, but the best way is to walk or use public transport.
Fantastic experience: Extraordinary place, stunning, clear sea, immense beaches, seafront for walking, full of benches to rest and enjoy a breathtaking view all around. Beautiful both in summer and winter.
Fantastic experience: beautiful
Fantastic experience: Coruña always surprises you, majestic with the raging sea
Fantastic experience: Nice beach within the city, clean and pleasant
Fantastic experience: Super
Positive experience: They should raise the promenade two or three meters to avoid the sea waves.
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach!
Fantastic experience: It is a relaxing place where you can walk with your family or a place to have fun with friends. I recommend it even if you just want to take a walk alone and think, maybe have a snack or lunch. All in summer, obviously, but in a short time I fell in love with this beach.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, but the downside is that the sand pulls you under in the water, you have to know where to step. The good thing is that it is clean.
