Otur Beach

Positive experience: Very good beach located away from urban centers. It is accessed via a sloped paved road. There are about two hundred meters before reaching a parking area in a designated meadow, as traffic is prohibited from there for unauthorized vehicles. After going down with your belongings, you arrive at the beach and see that there is ample parking in a sand area filled with 'authorized vehicles'. As a beach, it is very nice, with good services and a beach bar.

Fantastic experience: My favorite beach in Valdés has somewhat complicated access, but it is worth it. It is spacious and the water temperature is spectacular for being Cantabrian. The beach bar these last two years is nothing like the previous one, which had exquisite homemade dishes; now it's junk food at Ibiza prices.

Fantastic experience: An excellent beach to enjoy with family. It usually has good weather because it is quite sheltered. You can access it by car right to the beach. The beach has changing rooms and restrooms. There is also a beach bar where you can eat something.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach! Two free parking lots, one higher up, the other right by the beach. The beach itself is long and sandy. Surrounding it is green, with plenty of rocks and 'puddles'. There are toilets and a restaurant on site.

Positive experience: Beautiful and spacious beach. You can enjoy the space with low tide, and the pool formed by high tide is ideal for children. Access is by a steep road since the official parking is up above. The town hall should take care of the parking (it's a disaster) and allow only disabled people to access down below (it's a chaos).

Fantastic experience: Complicated to get down to the parking next to the beach, if you are going by motorcycle and do not know it, better not to go, last curve tighter than a U and full of sand. Otherwise, it's good, beach bar, restrooms, showers.

Fantastic experience: Bonita playa sobre todo en marea baja , ideal para aquellos que quieran todas las comodidades servicios, bar, amplitud del arenal, socorrismo, duchas y algo que tanto se agradece y poco a poco van careciendo los arenales de buen aparcamiento a pie de playa.

Fantastic experience: Una playa muy completa y con encanto salvaje. De fácil acceso y bien señalizada, está situada a unos 10 minutos de Luarca. Tiene arena oscura y fina, rodeada de vegetación, con un entorno muy natural y tranquilo. Es perfecta tanto para familias como para amantes del surf, ya que el oleaje suele ser moderado, ideal para iniciarse o practicar. Cuenta con servicios básicos como duchas, baños, socorristas en verano y aparcamiento gratuito cercano. A pesar de su tamaño, puede llenarse bastante en temporada alta, pero fuera de esos días es un auténtico paraíso. También es frecuente encontrar zonas más tranquilas hacia los extremos, incluso algo de naturismo en zonas discretas. Recomendable para quienes busquen una playa asturiana bonita, cómoda y con un ambiente natural sin urbanizar.

Fantastic experience: Bonita, acceso fácil, en verano hay socorrista, hay un bar-restaurante, el extremo occidental a la izquierda más tranquila / nudista.

Fantastic experience: Incroyable! Cette plage est magnifique. Elle bénéficie d’installations très appréciables (parking, toilettes, restaurant de plage) tout en restant sauvage. Une mention spéciale pour le bras de mer qui fait le bonheur des enfants qui peuvent se baigner en toute sécurité.

Fantastic experience: Playa grande de arena fina con parking a pie de playa gratuito y con chiringuito. Está en el pueblo de Otur, muy cerca de Luarca, en la Costa Occidental de Asturias. Además había una escuela de Surf y tiene bandera azul, baños/duchas y socorristas.

Fantastic experience: Playa buena para el baño, arena fina, y los socorristas de diez, muy pendientes de los bañistas.

Negative experience: Well, this morning, to be precise, there was not even water to shower or wash feet. They were going to close the bathroom due to lack of water. Be careful with the beach bar, 2.90€ for a beer... Un-acceptable.

Fantastic experience: Una de las playas mas divertida a la q fui, no cubre hasta q no llegas lejos...pero tampoco mucho por las olas grandes que hay, aun asi m lo pase en grande, tiene un parking un poco mas arriba de la que caminas una cuestita, tbn tiene otro abajo..pero es un caos.

Fantastic experience: Playa limpia,familiar y divertida para bañarse y buscar cangrejos con marea baja.
