Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches to visit in this area. It's a clean beach with a blue flag. It has very good waves, whether you enjoy surfing or not. However, the waves are strong most of the time, and it is quite common for the beach to have a yellow flag, so caution is advised. There is ample space for parking in the area, although on holidays or summer weekends it can be difficult to find a parking spot quickly. It has lifeguard services and a beach bar to drink something or eat; perfect for watching the sunset in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Yes definitely easy parking, the water in either direction is a beautiful turquoise-hue, and the whole area is just lovely!! Climate-change had better get figured out completely, and very soon, because I don't want this place or any other scenic / coastal regions or beaches or areas like this to be underwater in 10 years! holy moly!!

Fantastic experience: Small fishing village to disconnect from the world. In summer it gets crowded, but it is still highly recommended to visit it to enjoy its little beach, its promenade, and to see the sunsets from the terrace of Asteria beach while having a drink.

Fantastic experience: Esta playa me encanta desde hace muchos años, es preciosa, aunque es mar abierto es muy segura. Veraneo en ella desde hace muchos años y jamás presencié ningún accidente a pesar de sus preciosas olas. Cuenta con vigilancia, bandera azul, servicios, duchas y un chiringuito que lleva muchísimos años regentado por una pareja majísima, y dónde se está muy bien, con una terraza estupenda y muy acogedora. Después de un buen día de playa, el pueblo tiene una buena oferta hostelera donde se pueden degustar los mejores pescados y mariscos de la zona, y en especial hay un local en pleno paseo, con terraza y unas preciosas vistas al mar y a la playa, el Asteria. La recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera pasar un buen día o una tarde de playa, en un ambiente muy agradable y si después se van a tomar una cañitas al Asteria o unos marisquitos a los bares del puerto...día redondo!!! Caión!!!

Positive experience: SURF --> Very flat beach, so when the sea comes in with little strength and the tide is high in the afternoon (it rises more than when it's high in the morning), it may be the only beach with waves, which is why it can gather more than 100 people in the water (in a very small area, it is a relatively small beach). At low tide, the waves usually break very harshly and don't often open up. On the right side of the beach (the village area), the waves are smaller (and it handles the northeast wind better, typical of summer days). The quality of the wave is not good (like all sandy beaches, it depends on how the bottoms are), but there are worse ones.

Fantastic experience: Beach of a small fishing village. It has fine and well-maintained sand. The water is clean and crystal clear. The promenade is a marvel, by the way they are changing the wooden railing of the promenade. IT IS A MUST TO GO.

Fantastic experience: An idyllic place in every aspect. For me, the best of the Galician towns. And the best of the rental hosts of the house. Along with the best restaurant. I’ve been repeating for years and I always will; my wife and I are fascinated. A beautiful fishing village with fresh seafood and lovely people.

Fantastic experience: La Playa de Caión es uno de esos rincones mágicos de la costa gallega que combina belleza natural, tradición marinera y buenos servicios. De arena blanca y fina, este amplio arenal se abre al Atlántico con un oleaje moderado, ideal para quienes disfrutan del mar en su estado más puro, aunque siempre con precaución. Cuenta con servicio de socorrismo, duchas, pasarelas, y una zona urbana cercana con bares, terrazas y aparcamiento. En días soleados, el contraste entre el azul intenso del mar y el cielo despejado hace que las vistas sean espectaculares, sobre todo desde el paseo marítimo. La presencia de socorristas y la bandera azul ondeando al viento refuerzan la sensación de seguridad, aunque conviene recordar que es una playa de mar abierto, con corriente y oleaje frecuente. Aun así, se puede disfrutar con tranquilidad gracias a la vigilancia y la señalización adecuada. Muy recomendable para familias, paseos al atardecer y para quienes buscan una playa con encanto auténtico y con ese sabor a pueblo marinero. ¡Un lugar al que siempre apetece volver!

Positive experience: Una buena playa, con un buen paseo y con todos los servicios básicos (aparcamientos, baños, duchas, socorristas y hasta un chiringuito). El único punto negativo es que en los días fuertes de verano se llena y si está la marea alta no hay sitio para todos

Fantastic experience: Excelente playa con buenas olas para practicar surf. Varios aparcamientos . Chiringuito a pie de playa . Salvamento hasta las 20:00 pero poca atención a la playa le prestan, metidos en la caseta y con el móvil. Espero que se cambie esta actitud por la seguridad de los bañistas.

Fantastic experience: No vengáis. No vengáis porque se va a petar de gente y dejaremos de estar a gustito. Arena fina, playa muy llana, hay rocas pero no es para tanto... Tiene baños, duchas, socorrista, aparcamiento... Lo dicho, quedáos ahí en Riazor que se nos acaba lo bueno

Fantastic experience: Espectacular en calquera época do ano. Dentro deste recuncho do Atlántico hai unha extensa riqueza toponímica para nomear os areais: A Arnela, O Cárcere Vello, O Caracoleiro, As Salseiras, O Carreiro e Saldoiro. Praia tranquila, ideal para a práctica de surf, con baños en época estival, aparcadoiro de balde e adaptado para persoas con diversidade funcional, chiringo nas súas inmediacións, un recendo a mar e unhas cores que namoran a calquera.

Positive experience: Playa con oleaje para pasar momentos divertidos. Aceptable para surfear

Fantastic experience: Maravilloso lugar donde se inicia a costa da morte. Espectaculares vistas y playas. Muy tranquilo y por el paseo que bordea la escarpada costra donde hay calas muy pintorescas y que conduce desde el centro de la villa a la playa principal. La comida es los diversos restaurantes, sobre todo el pescado fresco, es digno de degustar y dejarse llevar por sus sabores mientras contemplas el mar de donde se extrae. Merece mucho la pena una visita para comer bien y relajarse.
