Fantastic experience: At the far western end of Platja de Son Bou is a very pleasant nudist beach, Platja de Talis. Accessed by either walking from Son Bou or Santo Tomas, it is well-worth the effort, despite lacking in facilities. Although overwelmingly nudist, attracting a variety of nationalities and age groups, it also attracts the occasional non-nudist and a proportion of topless young Spanish women. These varying groups get along very well and create an atmosphere that is very relaxed and welcoming. In addition to the wandering the beach nude, and swimming/sunbathing, etc. it is also very relaxing to explore the immediately adjoining Punta de Talis prominentary fully nude
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful big beach, parking and bar on the beach where you can have lunch.
Positive experience: One of the most welcoming beaches, with good access, crystal clear water, several bathing areas, but.... To put it another but, there was no water to wash your feet when leaving the beach and it is an inconvenience, apart from that perfect, arrive early because otherwise it is difficult to find parking.
Positive experience: I liked it. But because we walked a lot to avoid crowds. The beach is very crowded, overwhelming.. everyone is stuck next to each other. If you want to be peaceful, be prepared to walk at least 15 or 20 minutes from the parking lot.
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach for swimming and a nice sunset. There are a lot of people, I find, during the summer season, and since the beach is not wide, we are all crowded together. But apart from that, the beach is great. You can stand very far into the water. It's also nice for snorkeling, with some varieties of fish to observe near the shore. There is a parking lot a few minutes away on foot, but you need to arrive early because it is small. Otherwise, you will have to find a space in the streets above and walk a bit to reach the beach. The parking lots are free. It is also possible to pay to enjoy sun loungers and straw umbrellas on site.

Fantastic experience: Son Bou Beach is a vast, stunning stretch of sand that feels reminiscent of Atlantic or Pacific coastlines, offering beauty in all weather conditions. Adjacent to the beach, you’ll find the Ses Canèssies lagoon (albufera), a nature reserve currently in restoration. Please respect this delicate environment by not feeding the birds, especially with leftover breakfast items like white bread. One suggestion for improving the beach’s natural charm might be the demolition of an unsightly hotel on the eastern side, which detracts from the otherwise pristine landscape.
Positive experience: It's a very beautiful beach where the water is always very clean and clear. Nothing to envy from the paradise beaches of Southeast Asia. The only difference, for example, from the beaches in Valencia that have meters and meters of distance between the shore and the end of the sand, is that these are very narrow. Just over 5 meters, so people crowd and you have a significant feeling of overwhelm since wherever you look, there are people.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, you have to go early to get a good spot. Lots of people and little sand.
Positive experience: White sand, crystal clear sea and a very blue color. The only drawback, in my personal opinion, is the horror of the large buildings constructed behind. Of course, it is subjective; I prefer more natural areas. To find beach umbrellas, you either arrive early between 8-9 am or during the changeover between 12 and 1 pm. After seeing various coves, this one had the colors I liked the most. I would go back. Be aware that, as on the whole island, there are little fish that nibble; it's better to stay in motion.
Positive experience: Very nice and wide beach. But quite narrow and very crowded. It is difficult to park nearby if you’re too late and also there’s a number of sharp stones under the water in some places.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful big beach, parking and bar on the beach where you can have lunch.
Fantastic experience: A must-stop if you love sunsets, we went to spend the afternoon, it also has beach bars and parking nearby.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic kilometer-long beach with a perfect reef area for diving and ideal for swimming. Beach bars and many options nearby.
Fantastic experience: Son Bou beach is located 8 kilometers from Alaior, the municipality to which it belongs. If we come by the main road, both from Ciutadella and Mahón, just upon arriving in Alaior, we will see the direct access indicated to take the Son Bou road that leads us straight to the beach. At Son Bou beach, there is a large free parking area that tends to fill up quickly during the summer months. Son Bou beach has all the services and is accessible for the disabled. It has showers, restrooms, and a complete lifeguard service. At the beginning of the beach, you will find beach bars, umbrella and sunbed rentals, and an area dedicated to games and water sports with the sky-bus, an inflatable sausage pulled by a speedboat that is one of the most requested activities in the summer. You can also rent kayaks, boats, and/or jet skis, as well as pedal boats. Son Bou is one of the best beaches to go with children and the whole family. First, due to its easy accessibility. Also, being a shallow and very wide beach, it is perfect for children to bathe safely and play and run in the sand.
Fantastic experience: Very large beach. Ideal for going with children. Especially in the afternoon. Watching the sunset at a beach bar. Super clear and calm water. Large parking right there.

Fantastic experience: Platja ideal si vas amb nens, tens dutxa i serveis. L’aigua neta i cristalina! Fàcil aparcar, xiringuitos i socorrista.
Fantastic experience: Platja de Son Bou has it all! There is a busy area near the hotels with sun loungers and restaurants behind the beach. You can also hire a boat or enjoy other water sports. The sea is clear and shallow and children absolutely love it. Short walk towards Santo Tomas and crowds thin out. The area near lifeguard Tower 4 is where the clothing optional beach starts and there is some rocky area in the water, good for snorkeling. Carry on walking to the West and you can have like 50m meters of the beach all to yourself. There are recycling bins at the exits, and some showers to wash that sand off your skin. The car park is free! The atmosphere on the beach is great and people are friendly to each other.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Excellent for spending a day sunbathing and snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, there is a rocky area where you can go snorkeling, one of my favorite beaches in Menorca, and it also has a large parking area.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic kilometer-long beach with a perfect reef area for diving and ideal for swimming. Beach bars and many options nearby.
Positive experience: Very long beach with sand and pebbles in places. Very beautiful with various equipped areas and others with free and wilder beach. It's a shame about the big hotel from the 90s right on the bay that interrupts the visual spectacle. Absolutely worth visiting to enjoy the clear waters. From the beach, some paths lead to beautiful walks through the pinewoods.
Positive experience: Son Bou, Minorca.
Positive experience: Basic shower on the promenade. Sandy shore line lovely ambience with three restaurants-on the beach. Saw a turtles , mallards and cottage maybe. It is a conservation area so ...diverse fauna if you are on the lookout.
Ampio parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze.

Fantastic experience: We didn't exactly go to the beach, but this accommodation is of great interest being just a few minutes' walk from your room door. The location is to the south. You have a few areas nearby that you can't miss like Mahón, Cuidatella, Binibeca...
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach.
Fantastic experience: Went off-season BEAUTIFUL! Few people, suggestive sunset. Dined on the beach
Fantastic experience: Long, beautiful, sandy beach with full infrastructure.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful!!
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful big beach, parking and bar on the beach where you can have lunch.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. Very quiet.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Menorca. With a hotel and bar right in front. Well attended, with boat rentals.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Menorca. With a hotel and bar right in front. Well frequented, with boat rentals.
Positive experience: Thanks to the lagoon next to it, it's possible to see a large number of birds, beautiful beach.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, equipped, free, with the possibility of sunbathing nude.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, beautiful little street with shops to get there, and beautiful the scenic road before arriving. Discovered by chance and I'm happy!

Fantastic experience: Long beach, with fine sand, many families with children, clear waters, easy access but parking issues due to overcrowding.
Positive experience: Beach with very easy access and almost no difficulty parking. Recommended for going with children or even just in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset.
Positive experience: Very beautiful
Positive experience: Wide beach, clean and crystal clear water. Possibility to rent umbrellas and sunbeds. Free parking is quite large, we arrived in the afternoon and found a spot.
Positive experience: It's not bad but much better is its neighboring cove.
Fantastic experience: A must-stop if you love sunsets, we went to spend the afternoon, it also has beach bars and parking nearby.
Fantastic experience: The BEST beach in Menorca. It has light sand and water with an incredible color. You can't miss it, it's a paradise.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, equipped beach and bar with great dishes. Crystal clear waters and superb beach. Recommended!
Positive experience: Long, wide, and equipped beach. Very large free parking on site, a convenient walkway leads you to the beach (free and equipped). There is also a small bar with a paid shower.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic kilometer-long beach with a perfect reef area for diving and ideal for swimming. Beach bars and many options nearby.
Positive experience: Crowded beach but huge and very long, taking a walk along the seafront you reach a more secluded and less frequented spot that is really paradise-like (with the presence of some nudists).
Fantastic experience: Good beach
Fantastic experience: White sand beach and quite wide and clean turquoise blue sea
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, but when it's windy, it's too noticeable because it's open sea, it's not the same as in coves.
Fantastic experience: It is known for being 'the accessible one' of the island, be careful with the parking because it gets crowded. The beach is very nice, the typical larger sand beach but with the same crystal clear water as Mitjana, Macarelleta, etc. It will always depend on the wind and the tides, here and everywhere.
Fantastic experience: Very clean, amazing sunsets and only €10 per sun bed for day hire.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, well equipped, very crowded but nice sea
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, crystal clear water, and at an excellent temperature! The local cuisine is fantastic! I loved it.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, splendid warm and clear water, one of the best beaches in Menorca.
Fantastic experience: Visit made after Cala en Porter. The late afternoon was very well appreciated. Despite there being more waves, the water temperature was the warmest we felt. The water is crystal clear and the beach has a lot of quality. It is worth the visit.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Excellent for spending a day sunbathing and snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: Excellent super place

Positive experience: Long sandy beach, quite a few seaweeds in some places. Ghost town in this first week of April. Nothing open just to have a drink.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, fine sand, clear water, large expanse.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach with a lagoon full of ducks.
Fantastic experience: Very long beach of fine sand... and transparent sea. Super!
Fantastic experience: Super beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and large beach. Unfortunately, an area with a big building (hotel).
Negative experience: The beach is horrible. They say it's the most beautiful beach, well I'm disappointed with the seaweed, the water is terrible. Really disappointed.
Fantastic experience: It's a great beach!!!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, there is a rocky area where you can go snorkeling, one of my favorite beaches in Menorca, and it also has a large parking area.
Fantastic experience: The weather wasn't perfect, but it was the most beautiful sea I’ve ever seen in my life.
Negative experience: The beach is big, the water is crystal clear like everywhere on the island, but then the two buildings that resemble social housing are an eyesore and the landscape no longer has anything wild about it. Moreover, there is quite a bit of trash around. Prefer the coves with beautiful beaches in Menorca nestled in natural surroundings that make all the charm of the island.
Positive experience: Nice, clean, and long beach. Number 1 in Menorca. Must see ☀️️
Fantastic experience: The largest beach in Minorca. Light sand and clear sea. Equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers in the first part, then the rest is free. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful I have visited.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, very beautiful and with a wide stretch of sand. The beach has very fine, clean sand and excellent water, clear and with an optimal temperature. There is an excellent beach bar... Great for walking on the sand. Also excellent water for snorkeling. I highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: beach with crystal clear waters
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with a lot of charm. It is a must-visit, for me the most beautiful beach on the whole island and one of the largest.
Fantastic experience: It's stunning! You should go there!!!
Fantastic experience: Stunning beach, too bad about the wind
Fantastic experience: Crystal clear water, fine sand, good facilities, and wonderful fish
Positive experience: Clean, long but one star less because there are few access points to the beach and crowds.
Fantastic experience: Clean and transparent sea, one of the best beaches on the island
Positive experience: A large stretch of sandy beach with spectacular water, a very good beach to spend a day at the beach.
Positive experience: The widest beach in Menorca. Crystal clear waters, equipped and suitable for families with children.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, no rocks and clean water in September.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach..very clear water...highly recommended ...very easy parking
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach
Positive experience: Actually a great beach, but when the wind comes from the land side, there’s a smell of old frying oil hanging over everything, emitted by the 3 snack bars.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely my favorite beach in Menorca... for those who love long and vast beaches, it's truly beautiful.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, parking located nearby. Easy access. However, less pretty than other beaches on the island.
Fantastic experience: A dream beach, fine and white sand. A wonder..
Positive experience: Clean sea, very long sandy beach without shade. When we arrived in August it was packed and there were waves, I didn't like it.
Positive experience: Very long beach with a Caribbean appearance, unfortunately the landscape is marred by a couple of mega-hotels close to the sea. Compared to other beaches on the island, I found it too crowded and much less clean. Parking is available but hard to find free, especially during peak hours. A downside is the prices at one of the beach bars/restaurants, definitely exorbitant for what is offered.
Positive experience: Nice beach in the morning but quite dirty by the end of the day. Full of plastics in the sea and on the shores.
Fantastic experience: Actually, probably the prettiest beach in Menorca. We recommend it.
Positive experience: Very beautiful but very crowded
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach with clear water
Positive experience: Beautiful beach. Too many people, it looked like Copacabana.
Positive experience: Wide but very crowded, at least in August. If you walk a little to the right, you will find more space and tranquility.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. Good access.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach with white sand and crystal clear water. It is very long and there is always a place to put your towel. Parking right next to it, no need to walk. Ideal for going with little ones. If I return to Menorca, I will definitely go back.
Fantastic experience: Very large beach. Ideal for going with children. Especially in the afternoon. Watching the sunset at a beach bar. Super clear and calm water. Large parking right there.
Positive experience: The beach is very nice, super clean, and with nearby parking, easy access. The only thing is that there are thousands of hotels around.
Positive experience: One of the largest beaches in Menorca, it is a more open beach than the rest on the island and at times has quite a bit of wave action. Clean and transparent water like all the others in Menorca.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful! It is a magical place to visit and enjoy with family.
Fantastic experience: Super spacious beach with crystal clear waters, perfect for families with children.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach in an area with easy parking just a few meters away. Very large and very clean.
Positive experience: Beach with good parking. Easy access. Suitable for children. There is what Spaniards consider a lot of tourist traps, but if you oversleep, this beach option is good. It is also very beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with crystal clear water and white sand. But quite windy! It's hard to have a picnic with the wind. You can walk quite a long distance in the water, so it's nice for the kids. Many waves due to the wind. Easily accessible from the bus station, few ministers walk.
Positive experience: fabulous beach but €25 for 2 beds and a parasol. rip off
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach. Goes on for as far as the eye can see. Ample parking and a boardwalk connection to the beach. Very clean and not over developed. A few small restaurants set back in the dunes. The town/resort is set back from the beach but only a 5-10 minute walk. We hired sun loungers and as we needed shade for our baby. €20 per day. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Fantastic experience: Lovely sandy beach with free parking, fairly short walk from the car park to the beach and plenty of sand to walk along. There is a little restaurant that serves drinks and ice creams that you can take away. The sunbeds can be purchased for €10 for all day, which was a little on the expensive side, but if you're a tanner or having nothing else planned I guess it's alright. If you keep walking down the beach away from the cliff side, then you will come to where most of the nudist people tend to settle.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches on Menorca, lovely sand, clean, safe and carefully watched over by two life guard stations at the Son Bou end. Also two decent cafe/restaurants. Lots of sunbeds with umbrella shades, again at the Son Bou end. Take a walk further up the beach and you'll find more space with less people. Behind the beach is the Prat de Son Bou nature reserve. There is a lovely walk you can take to the far end of the beach, to the Punta d’Atàlis. Just be aware that you can only access the beach from two points, at either end, nowhere in between!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with calm shallow waters. Perfect for children under 3. Car park close by with is very big. Some nice restaurants on the front too
