Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, especially if you like G or T. Beautiful natural phenomenon. Free parking if a 15-minute walk is not too far.

There are foot showers, a beach bar, and public restrooms. At the entrance to the beach, you will find a sign that informs you of the high tide and low tide times, as well as the time for sunrise and sunset, and it indicates the flag status. It's quite interesting because, as in all of the north, the tides are very changeable, and this beach uses flags planted in the sand to indicate how far the water will rise in an hour; when the water reaches them, they move them again. There is even a small cave between the cliffs that can only be accessed through a puddle formed by the tides. It's ideal for letting kids play without worries. Additionally, there is a ramp, which makes it easier for wheelchair users or baby strollers to access. Before you arrive, there are shops selling beach items like floats, boards, swimsuits, and sunscreen.

Fantastic experience: It's stunning! The views from the cliff are amazing, the sand is fine and golden. It's important to visit it at low tide to appreciate all the nooks and crannies.

Positive experience: Sheltered by the limestone formations that rise on its sides, it is another huge sandy area to enjoy a wonderful beach day. There is a small beach bar.

Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful, with those cliffs, the flish area, etc. The beach bar leaves a lot to be desired, the owner of the place runs the business with shouting and insults to his waiters.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular contrast between mountain and sea. It is a beach completely open to the sea, which makes it beautiful but dangerous because of the undertow (the force of the wave as it returns). There are showers available, but one must be very careful with the tide if it is rising or falling and with the undertow. It is surrounded by mountains and the famous flysch. You can easily walk from the town up a slope from Amaia square. There is access to the upper part of the beach via a ramp for people with wheelchair needs. In summer, there is a lifeguard service and a beach bar.

Fantastic experience: Traumhafter und einzigartiger Strand, bekannt mittlerweile auch aus der Serie Game of Thrones. Die aufgefalteten Steinplatten, die senkrecht stehen, sind außergewöhnlich. Die Höhlen in den Platten sind ein echter Blickfang. Der Zugang ist nur über einen beschatteten Fußweg möglich. Parken muss man unterhalb am Hafen, wo es wenige Parkplätze mit Automat gibt. Aber der Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Lifeguards sind da wie an jedem größeren Strand im Baskenland. Der Strand selbst ist sehr gepflegt. Hingehen und staunen.

Fantastic experience: Magnífica playa! Disfrutamos de un día increíble en un paisaje único. Mención especial al equipo de socorristas, que no pierden de vista a los bañistas ni un minuto. La playa es de oleaje fuerte, apta para personas que se sientan muy seguras en el agua. Si vas con niños pequeños es importante estar muy atentos. A tomar en cuenta: toma tiempo encontrar plaza de aparcamiento en el pueblo. La playa tiene servicio de baños, que el día que fuimos estaban muy limpios y también tiene un chiringuito

Positive experience: Es preciosa, me encanta por su historia y por sus paisajes, recomiendo tener en cuenta las olas, pueden ser algo fuertes pero hay salvavidas.

Fantastic experience: Preciosa playa donde además se han rodado escenas de Juego de Tronos. Visita obligada para fans de la serie. Si quereis acercaros a la cueva debereis buscar la hora en la que la marea va a estar mas baja ya que sino estará cubierta parcialmente de agua y como el oleaje parece muy fuerte en esa zona de la playa los socorristas no os dejaran acercaros.

Positive experience: Práctica de surf. Cortes de interés geológico en las paredes rocosas costeras. Son objeto de visitas especializadas y ofrecen una vista impresionante desde la playa.

Positive experience: Preciosa playa, pequeña pero muy bonita. Tiene tambien zona para hacer snorkell cerca del Flysch. Tiene muchos rincones a descubrir.

Positive experience: El sitio es mágico y muy bonito, pero recomiendo no ir al restaurante que está a pie de playa ya que el personal se encuentra sobrecargado y en la carta ofrecen cosas que no son, en nuestro caso pedimos un costillar con patatas y nos sirvieron churrasco en filete diciendonos de muy malas formas que no teníamos ni idea de lo que era un costillar, muy mala experiencia por ese lado pero si van a comer en la zona del pueblo y luego visitan la playa pasarán un dia fantástico el sitio es muy bonito y ofrece muchas panorámicas diferentes para fotografiar el entorno y la playa esta genial tiene zonas de olas muy divertida y para los niños hay otras donde el agua no cubre mucho y las olas llegan sin fuerza. Lugar recomendable 100% si no van al restaurante que hay a pie de playa.

Fantastic experience: Es una playa espectacular a la que se accede por un paseo increíble. A pesar de ello tiene un tamaño suficiente y unos servicios muy adecuados. De frente a la playa a la derecha tiene una cala preciosa a la que se puede acceder cuando la marea está baja andando. Allí se ven perfectamente las capas del Flysch. Es un paisaje espectacular. Además la playa dispone en lo alto de un puesto de helados y en plena playa de un bar en el que se sirven diversas opciones a precios muy asequibles.

Fantastic experience: Increíble con las formaciones rocosas en estratos verticales, típicas de la zona pero el efecto es espectacular. Por la mañana con la marea baja aparecen mini cuevas muy divertidas de explorar. Nosotros estuvimos en septiembre y ondeaba bandera roja. Pero es una zona tranquila para relajarse y tomar el sol. Imprescindible visitar.
