Positive experience: Very beautiful beach, near the port there is a large variety of restaurants where seafood is the star dish, but be careful, few places have fresh and quality fish. Along the beach, there are different spots with rocks where you can do some snorkeling if the crowd allows it. Difficult to park, paid parking (ora), but very crowded and for residents.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and lovely beach with fine sand and clear waters. I visited in the second half of July without any problems finding a spot. The only issue is the parking, which is regulated, and you cannot park for more than two hours.
Fantastic experience: July and August are busy, but there are still enough places to eat or drink. Insufficient parking spaces. A visit to the city by bike is ideal. There is also a tourist train running along the sea and the old town.

We had a small dog with us and when she approached the sand to run and play, two local police officers there told me that the dog could not enter and asked if I hadn't seen the no dogs sign. I said no, because it was my first time at that beach, and they told me that’s why they were there. One even said, 'Well, the sign is big enough not to miss it'... anyway, I’ll keep my personal opinion to myself...

Positive experience: Nice beach. It is spacious and well maintained. Dogs are not allowed.
Negative experience: On the first night, we went for a walk in the promenade area. We had a small dog with us and when she approached the sand to run and play, two local police officers there told me that the dog could not enter and asked if I hadn't seen the no dogs sign. I said no, because it was my first time at that beach, and they told me that’s why they were there. Negative experience: If you go with a dog, know that you are not allowed in even in winter. You will see more 'No Dogs' signs than in your whole life. In Alicante, you can go in winter, but I know that the mayor of Calpe is not very friendly with animals. And even though the beaches are filled with seaweed and dirt that they don't clean in winter, it seems that dogs upset them a lot. Look for another city if you go with a dog.

Fantastic experience: Super beach with fine sand and clear water
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach with crystal clear waters, where you can do many activities, from climbing the Peñón de Ifach with a prior appointment, snorkeling, or simply relaxing. It has fine white sand and large areas of posidonia where you can see many varieties of fish... I wouldn't trade this beach for anything... highly recommended to visit.

Negative experience: It's a shame there is no water to wash off the sand and the sand is very dirty with trash left by tourists.

Fantastic experience: Central beach but close to the center of Calpe. The sea is clean and there are good services for families with restaurant, bar, etc. The only downside is that there are no showers, only foot washes. In August, it can be crowded.

Fantastic experience: I loved the beach, the waves seem artificial because they are big but they don't knock you over. This beach is great for kids who want to surf or for people who want to play jumping waves or things like that. I'm 13 years old and I didn't want to get out of the water, the water isn't cold or anything, and there are hardly any people.
Fantastic experience: Très agréable séjour en famille. Ballades bord de mer droite ou gauche du rocher, pleins de restaurants et boutiques. Animé le soir. Plage de sable. Calpe regorge de grandes et petites surfaces alimentaires et autres.

Positive experience: Great sand and clean beach. Beautiful scenery. The waves are so strong in November that I didn't go swimming. There's a playground for children on the beach. Behind it is a row of urban concrete buildings, cafes, and shops, etc. Calpe's beach does not have artworks or beautiful architecture like Altea. If you drive a short distance to the right looking out to sea, you will find a beautiful natural park to unwind = Penyal de Ifac, in Spanish El Peñon de Ifach, with clearly marked trails. At least the red trail closes at 2 PM (see photo). You can climb to the summit of the hill, and there somewhere you will find another parking area. I didn't make it to the top, but next time.... wonderful views!

Fantastic experience: Hermoso, limpio, aguas cristalinas, arena fina, poco oleaje, diversidad de restaurantes, bares, etc a escasos metros de la playa. Excelente para todas las edades.
Positive experience: Ik ga vandaag is beginnen met de negatieve punten. Als je rond een uurtje of 3 het strand op loopt en je parasol, stoeltjes en handdoeken op je gemakje neerlegt, verga je hier van de tyfushitte. Je zult dan denken het strand kan hier niks aan kan doen, maar het strand geeft de perfecte gelegenheid om mensen koppijn te bieden. Het zand is gloeiendheet en als je niet elke ochtend 3x over de plaatselijke asfaltbestrating bij je thuis loopt, kun je de blaren onder je voeten gaan koelen met ijskoud water. Eenmaal in het water aangekomen kun je je voeten vrijwillig stoten aan diversen stenen. Tenen, enkels en knieën breken is een activiteit waarvoor je je gratis in kunt schrijven. Als je dan de zee weer uitloopt, is het zand goed te doen. Eenmaal op je plaats aangekomen kun je je vermaken met allerlei vreemde taferelen om je heen. U zult het niet geloven als ik zeg dat vaders zich op dit strand vrijwillig er onder smeren met zand, maar het is toch echt zo. Mensen gaan op hun bek als ze rustig langs de kant willen lopen. Ook gooien mensen zich op random plekken op het strand neer, alsof hun knieën het gewoon begeven. Diverse prullaria zijn te vinden op het strand, omdat de prullenbakken uitpuilen van rotzooi. De positieve punten zijn kort maar krachtig. Het water is gloeiendheet, het weer is mooi en je hebt ruimte om jezelf te ontplooien of te ontwikkelen.
Fantastic experience: Una playa bastante grande, donde sacar muchas fotos y pasar grandes momentos con la familia, pareja o los amigos, una playa con mucha historia, los niños pueden divertirse en columpios y los adultos haciendo ejercicios. Recomiendo

Fantastic experience: Benches on the beach promenade in Calpe. Painter Lola Extremadouro completes her project to fill the Calp promenade with art. After almost two months of work, she has painted benches with Mediterranean motifs. There are more benches than the ones in the pictures.

Negative experience: Calpe beach is not bad but it is not a quiet beach, there are a lot of people and it is very small. It's not one of the best, honestly.
Fantastic experience: It's a not very large and family-friendly beach. I love the palm trees quite close to the shore compared to other Spanish beaches. I go down alone or with my partner early in the morning, and it's a delight. Around 12 PM, it's better if you leave.
