Fantastic experience: Family-friendly, clean, and accessible beach
Positive experience: We continue like years ago, going to this beach, although it needs to clean the palm trees that are closer to Puerto Siles, because the rest has already been done. This year I see that the machine to clean the sand has been used only a few times. And the other problem that they should solve is the towers that the lifeguards have, which are just a ladder with a seat on top, the poor ones get scorched, especially in the afternoon when the sun ☀ is behind them. I have seen that they put one of the flags they carry in their backpack between the roof and the backrest of the seat. The town hall of Canet should take example from the towers they have at Puerto beach, which are completely closed. It won't be because they don't collect.
Fantastic experience: The beach is well maintained with good access, the lifeguard staff. The best part. You can feel the good atmosphere. The beach security is great. There are patrols frequently. And a little further ahead, there’s a beach for dogs. They have foot washes and right as you exit, you have the promenade with various sales stalls.

Negative experience: Total overcrowding. I was born in Canet, it had been many years since I went to the beach, today Sunday we decided to go. To park for free you have to go far, but there are many paid options. The beach is totally overcrowded, it is to be expected that on weekdays it will be better, so we decided to turn around and go to Port Saplaya, where there is endless free parking just 100 meters from the beach. The best beach in Valencia is in Canet.

Negative experience: The beach is very beautiful. But I didn’t know it was pet-friendly, specifically for dogs... At first, we ignored it, but as the hours passed, it became very annoying because the dogs were running around, and one of them peed on the leg of my chair... In the end, I had to leave because apparently, this is something normal at that beach. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN. And to top it off, there were jellyfish; we collected 4.... Anyway, I wanted to have a peaceful day and left feeling a bit stressed.
Positive experience: Leider Hunde komplett verboten. Noch nicht mal an der Leine am Rand erlaubt. An den Eingängen zum Strand befinden sich überall Warnschilder, 150 Euro Strafe. Ich verstehe das es Strandabschnitte geben sollte wo Hunde nur angeleint sein dürfen genauso wie es vielleicht einige geben kann wo Hunde komplett verboten sind. Aber Hunde komplett aus der Gesellschaft und dem Familienleben zu verbannen ist für mich als deutscher undenkbar. Habe mit einer Spanierin darüber gesprochen, die mir erzählt hat, ein Gesetz das man Hunde (Tiere) nicht schlagen darf ist relativ "neu" in Spanien und das Hunde von der Mentalität her nichts im Haus zu suchen haben. Ein kultureller Unterschied den man respektieren muss aber leben die Spanier an der Küste noch vom Tourismus? Und haben nicht viele deutsche Familien einen Hund? Weiter südlich gibt es einen Strandabschnitt wo Hunde erlaubt sind.

Negative experience: This year they must control plastics and litter even more since vacationers continue to disrespect it as they should. Last week was terrible... red flag and filled with jellyfish... although this is cyclical and normal.

Fantastic experience: The magical beach has had the Blue Flag of the European Union for over 6 years. Clean fine sand, smooth entry into the sea, nearby cafes and restaurants. I recommend it to everyone.
Fantastic experience: The menu I ordered was good for a hot summer day. The staff was attentive. It's a busy location where it's advisable to make a reservation in advance. We didn't make a reservation, but they were nice and found us a table.

Positive experience: Very nice beaches. Spacious. Fine sand. The sea is very beautiful, its colors are a beauty, and today the temperature (in the middle of summer) is great. Depending on the time, there may be more or less people, but really the beach is very large, so there are no inconveniences.
