Fantastic experience: Beautiful, but crowded. Parking right at the beach access.
Positive experience: 3 stars because it looks good from above, otherwise mega bad location, you have to walk up and down many stairs and partly along the steep coast to get there, plus even in the off-season the beaches of the coves are overcrowded. Mass tourism greets you, how can anyone like that when you lie on the beach like sardines in a can? So disgusting, and what was very annoying were the English... such disgusting behavior. Clear water was there, though, including many jellyfish and fish. The beach is not supervised, and all the hotel guests from nearby apparently come here. A day trip yes, but staying overnight here in the East area, no, never again. The East Cove places are all too small for too many people...

Positive experience: Travel time: Mid October 2024 Beautiful cove, right below the Inturotel Hotels. Crystal clear water, no algae, no seagrass. Only very few stones. Somewhat steep descent, after 5m the water depth is about 70-100cm. One point deduction, as it was quite crowded even in mid-October.
Fantastic experience: The cove is set between the rocks on the sides. There are no parking issues nearby. Sunday is obviously full of umbrellas (sand and free beach), but if you have no problems, you can settle on the rocks or even better on a sloping lawn (as we did).
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove with crystal clear water and a nice small sandy beach. A little above the cove, you can lie in the shade under the trees or enjoy a drink at the bar with the best view. The fruit seller here is a real character and actually worth a visit.
Positive experience: The cove is beautiful, it has shade and there are access stairs so you can stay there if you don't want sand. The downside is that it was beneath several hotels and it was overcrowded, to the point that it was uncomfortable. We went at 5 PM and stayed even though there were so many people because the tourists leave early. At around 6:30 PM is when we started to enjoy it because it was empty. Still, there was a lot of wildlife and the water was clear: seagulls, fish, and even a starfish.
Positive experience: If you're looking for that 'walk out of your timeshare and be in sand' kinda place, this is for you. However...(To me) it feels a bit like a beach in the middle of a shopping center. Very crowded, but probably great for people with kids.

Positive experience: Lovely beach in Cala D'Or. We visited right at the end of the season and there weren't any restaurants there that were on Google maps. But stunning beach and gorgeous water!
Positive experience: Small cove near hotels, bars, and restaurants. Possibility to jump into the sea from some 'rock platforms.' The setting with the man-made poured concrete in the background takes away some charm, which is unfortunately often the case in Mallorca.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, small bay suitable for snorkeling. Super clear water, shaded areas available, small beach restaurant with a great view of the bay. A fun watermelon/pineapple seller visits the beach several times. The green tram goes to Cala Esmeralda.
Fantastic experience: Dreamlike water and clean beach. However, it is also well attended in the off-season. There are hardly any shaded areas. The restroom is located next to the restaurant which belongs to a hotel. The water temperature at the end of April is sporty. A quick dip is possible, but it feels freezing.
Positive experience: Smaller cove with a beautiful sandy beach. Very clear water, but shaded spots are rare. Snack bar and restaurant nearby, where you can also find a restroom.

Positive experience: People leave too much trash. Then the current washes plastic in all shapes from Africa into the small cove. Where one used to find shells, plastic lids are now lying around. And there is no lifeguard despite the fact that the huge unnecessary glass bottom boats pass through and dock with people swimming. It would be nicer with 30% fewer visitors. Too crowded! But the cove is nice to look at!

Positive experience: Nice cove, very busy with families and kids. Can snorkel out from the beach on the side rocks/cliffs.
Negative experience: Total mit Plastikteilen und sonstigen ….“Was auch immer „ verdreckt. Wurde uns von Bekannten zum Schnorcheln für Kinder empfohlen. Entweder falsche Zeit, oder es ist wirklich unsere Zukunft mit unseren eigenen Hinterlassenschaften. Schade, sonst wirklich tolle Bucht.

Fantastic experience: Cala Esmeralda es una de las joyas de Cala D’or, en Mallorca, es de fácil acceso, perfecta para ir con niños. Una cala con playa de arena, sus aguas cristalinas invitan al baño y gran espacio de arena perfecta para el descanso y la diversión. Variedad de zona de saltos en los laterales.
Fantastic experience: Súper bonita... No es muy grande, pero tiene bastante arena y el agua es muy cristalina, si llevas gafas de buceo / equipo de snorkel, puedes ver muchos peces y demás fauna marina.

Positive experience: It is a very beautiful cove, easy access by vehicle, there is a lot of tourism, about 80% of the people who come are tourists. A very crowded place at almost all hours.

Fantastic experience: A very good place to enjoy the Mallorca sea in all its features, my best place to have lunch in a nearby bar with honest costs. A fresh fruit man arrives in the middle of the day and shouts on the beach selling his goods in a funny way.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, lot of harmless fishes, water insanely clear and water temperature just perfect for a hot day! Free parking 5min walking. However, we got there at 11am and it was CRAZY busy, we had to sit at the very end. But 2h later a lot of people left and managed to get a much better spot near the water (this was Early August so super high season). Also note that no toilets, showers or parasols to rent.

Fantastic experience: A perfect spot. There is a café next to it, but it's only for adults. The cove is very nice, and parking is good if you arrive early.
Positive experience: It's a beautiful beach, one of the best we've been to 10/10, but TODAY THERE WERE A LOT OF JELLYFISH, BE CAREFUL IF YOU'RE GOING THESE DAYS!!!! Around 8:00 PM they were starting to come close to the shore, but all afternoon they were scattered all over the place.

Fantastic experience: Dreamy bay with beautiful fine sandy beach and turquoise water. Food and drinks are available in the immediate vicinity. Parking on site is possible with a bit of luck (free). Toilets are also available. However, you have to provide your own shade.

Fantastic experience: One of the best coves I've visited in P.Mallorca, it has a small but very beautiful area of white sand, surrounded by cliffs and nature. When the sun shines, the water has a beautiful color, highly recommended.

Negative experience: This cove and the one next to it are covered by a mega-tourist complex that reaches right to the beach. The cove may have crystal clear water, but it's hard to see water or sand among so many people.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful, small bay that is quite sheltered. Surrounded by hotels. The water is a dream. The colors give it a touch of the South Sea. Now in spring, only the bravest have gone into the water. I am sure it will be a great pleasure in summer. However, it will also be well filled, while now at the end of March it was very relaxed. Finding a parking spot was also not a problem.
