Fantastic experience: Incredible place to swim a little, the view from above is spectacular, especially when you arrive to see it. The path is somewhat difficult but worth it. You should be careful with the food you bring in your backpack because there are loose goats wanting to eat what you have, especially if it’s bananas.

Fantastic experience: In Cala Ratjada, Cala Gat is a small beach 40 meters long, with calm turquoise waters, surrounded by a dense pine forest. The clarity and color of the water make it ideal for snorkeling. If you dive to the left, you can see the posidonia seabed first, and then many nooks with rocks and a great variety of fish. It's advisable to go early, at least by ten in the morning to find a spot more comfortably. Parking is relatively easy in the surrounding area, and then you just have to go down a small slope. There's a really cool beach bar where many Germans go.

Positive experience: Very nice small beach. In August it is way too crowded and you can hardly find a spot.

Fantastic experience: The best beach on the island with one downside - not much space. But overall, there was always a spot to settle in. Gorgeous water and a huge number of fish. There is a spot for jumping.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach but VERY VERY crowded. You can only enjoy it if you go early in the morning at around 7:30 and then leave by 11. The water when we went wasn't exactly very clean even though it looks exceptional in the photos. There are no showers and very few parking spots around.

Fantastic experience: Narrow rocky picturesque beach. Crowded when we were there. We found a spot in a nice cave area with a boulder floor. Unfortunate back of the cave smelled of urine. 1€ to use the bathrooms drove some to do that. Good cliff jumping.

Positive experience: The cove is very beautiful, but it is small and by 10 am it is already overcrowded with couples and families. If you are going to go, prepare to be squeezed in. On top of that, there is a beach bar, sunbeds, and arrivals and departures for some paid activities. In the water, if you go snorkeling, you will be able to see quite a few fish of different species, but also plastics and other waste from human beings. In some areas, I came across a real island of small plastics. There were also a couple of tourists who were concerned about removing them, so not everything is lost. You won't get bored watching a lot of people posing for Instagram. In summary, a beautiful space that has been a victim of the most disrespectful tourism. If you want to enjoy this space, go very early in the day!

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful cove, with lots of fish perfect for diving. But it is super overcrowded or you go early and you'll end up being on the stones badly.

Positive experience: Beautiful but tiny beach, during high season it overflows. Either you arrive before 9:30 AM or you will not find a spot. Those who come later put themselves wherever they can and the situation is overwhelming. Free parking but scarce. There is a beach bar, lifeguard, and a few sunbeds for rent. No showers or bathrooms. Many fish in clear water, bring goggles to enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful little cove with a sandy beach and clear water. We were here early in the morning because it can get too crowded otherwise. There are a few stones, but swimming shoes are not necessary. We were able to observe many fish in the water. There is always a beach bar between 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM. Parking is possible in the side streets as long as there are free spaces. If you follow the steps, you will reach another small cove.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, it is quite crowded and there's hardly any space. However, it's suitable for snorkeling. We saw up to 5 different types of fish. What’s missing are showers to rinse the saltwater off the skin.

Positive experience: Stunning cove, but completely overcrowded in summer. We were there in early August and couldn't see the sand for all the towels and sun umbrellas. The bar is worth recommending, friendly bartenders, and delicious food (we had a tomato, mozzarella, avocado platter).

Positive experience: The beach itself is quite beautiful, as is the surroundings. The problem is that it is very small and thus very crowded. Also, the entry into the water is not nice, as there are many stones directly at the beach and it hurts to walk over them. It is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, but I clearly prefer Sol Moll.

Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful. However, it is completely overcrowded during the season. We didn't swim here. The additional walking minutes to Cala Agulla are worth it. It is larger and offers much more space to lay down.

Negative experience: Extremely crowded and small beach. The view is great and the sand is super. The water is full of plastic and algae. Moreover, I was stung by a jellyfish in the water and my finger was swollen for a day.

Negative experience: What a disappointment... A lot of people and that still in the middle of July, it's normal. What is not normal is all the waste in the water. There were pieces of plastic everywhere, bags, caps, and so on. The place is indeed paradise, yes, but mass tourism here is reaching its limits.

Negative experience: possibly the most crowded cove I have found this holiday on the island; literally, people sit on top of your towel in June; many pebbles to access the water; very nice views

Fantastic experience: Great bay, it is a relatively small beach with a lot of people during the summer months. If you arrive in the morning, there is usually always space, but in the afternoon it gets more difficult. Crystal clear water with a good opportunity for snorkeling. There is also an option to eat and drink, there is a beach tent next door where you can also use the toilet for 1 euro. There are no showers available.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful and charming beaches in all of Mallorca that I have visited. 'Beautiful' doesn't quite capture it. Although it is small, it is perfect at the same time.

Negative experience: Very small cove, overcrowded, not even worth it. Murky water, nothing to do with the photos they publish. The beach bar takes up the whole cove, you have to pay to use the restroom even after consuming at the beach bar.

Negative experience: Deceptive. It's all crowded, I got the high tide with strong waves, it was impossible to be on the sand because there's no space. A beach bar takes up half of the beach with VERY overpriced prices. There are lifeguards. I had to deal with a lot of black seaweed, impossible to swim. Not recommended in high season.

Positive experience: Nice, small beach between the cliffs. It takes a short time to get there from the center. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a place to sit or lie down. The bar nearby has quite high prices, and the toilet costs 1€. When going into the water, there are a few stones so it is not very smooth.

Positive experience: Jellyfish, lots of people, pricey bar. Had really high hopes for this spot but it was not worth it sadly. Only pros were that there’s a nice boardwalk next to it and there was lots of free parking.

Fantastic experience: This place is also a paradise. At the end of May, it wasn't difficult to find parking. You can start thinking about parking when you are 300 meters away from your destination and park in an available spot.

Near the port of Cala Ratjada is the bay of Cala Gat, a small bay with beautiful sand, very quiet, with wonderfully crystal clear water, inviting for a refreshing swim. It is also a fantastic place for snorkeling. You can also see fish here, especially on the many rocks. The proximity to Cala Ratjada and the easy access to the bay attract many tourists. It's best to leave your car nearby, as parking spots are limited, and you can reach the bay on foot in about 5 minutes.
