- Scenic Beauty: With crystal clear waters and fine sand, the beach is considered one of the best in Spain.

Fantastic experience: Pleasant beach with fine sand and no big waves. There's no need to waste time looking for a free parking spot, there aren't any. The paid parking is cheap and its staff is friendly.
Positive experience: Parking is a disaster
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, now very crowded with people, but a great beach for walking. The dog beach is great, but it should have better access and more enclosed area for pets.
Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful, there was a bit of wind and finding parking was very difficult, but the beach in general was fine, it is recommended.
Negative experience: The beach is very dirty, around the beach bar both worlds. It is worth mentioning that I found tiles, pieces of brick, and glass. With the danger they pose. In addition to cigarette butts, water bottles, containers, banana peels. A complete neglect by the Almonte town council. Three days going to the same place and always the same trash. They do not come to clean. It's a sadness, as the beach itself is a wonder. I should also add that not all access points are available because the winter storms have taken away the sand and they have not solved it, although that is not the town hall's responsibility.

Positive experience: El tapón de Matalascañas es la imagen mental que viene a la cabeza cuando piensas en las vacaciones. Un poco venido a menos pero el clima y su cercanía al PN Doñana lo compensan.
Fantastic experience: I always go to this beach because I consider it the best for pets since during the off-season, you can walk freely with our furry friends.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, now very crowded with people, but a great beach for walking. The dog beach is great, but it should have better access and more enclosed area for pets.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and large beach. With several beach bars along the promenade. The tide goes up and down a lot, and the sand is wonderful.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, with white sand, without many shells, ideal for walking and taking a good dip, in water that has been warmed up.
Fantastic experience: Pleasant beach with fine sand and no big waves. There's no need to waste time looking for a free parking spot, there aren't any. The paid parking is cheap and its staff is friendly.
Negative experience: Dirty beach, cigarette butts in the sand. At the level of the sun loungers, very loud music from people lacking respect.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches I've been to, both in terms of cleanliness and the condition of the sea. Fine sand, a very good vacation choice.

Fantastic experience: In February it is completely empty, an immense wild and lonely beach with some beach bars open for food.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and large beach. With several beach bars along the promenade. The tide goes up and down a lot, and the sand is wonderful.
Fantastic experience: A spectacular beach, with fine and white sand. The water is super clear and the beach is very clean. I visited it in June, and it was very quiet. It's a very long beach for relaxing walks, with several beach bars. What we missed, but I don't know if it's just in the area where I was, were showers. There were none in a good stretch of the beach. Even so, we loved the beach; it's wonderful.
I should also add that not all access points are available because the winter storms have taken away the sand and they have not solved it, although that is not the town hall's responsibility.
Negative experience: The beach bars are very shabby, the promenade, just like the surrounding area, is very dirty and neglected.

Positive experience: It's a shame to have such a large and nice beach and not be at the same level in public beach services. There are no lifeguards, nor flags to know the water conditions. There are very few trash bins and on top of that, the public restrooms behind the tower are pay-per-use.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful large beach. Not very clean.

Fantastic experience: Siempre vengo..me gusta.

Fantastic experience: Love this beach! Almost every year we came here in the last ten year's!
Fantastic experience: In February it is completely empty, an immense wild and lonely beach with some beach bars open for food.
Fantastic experience: Best beach, very large and clean
Fantastic experience: In this season, it is just how I like it, without scorching sun or crowds.
Fantastic experience: The best beach in the world.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful large beach. Not very clean.
Fantastic experience: I always go to this beach because I consider it the best for pets since during the off-season, you can walk freely with our furry friends.
Positive experience: The water wasn't very clean, I don't know if it was because of the season...
Fantastic experience: Beautiful and large beach. With several beach bars along the promenade. The tide goes up and down a lot, and the sand is wonderful.
Positive experience: Now yes. In September, it is a delight to stroll along its uncrowded beaches.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach and tranquility for swimming, good beach bars and good prices
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, with white sand, without many shells, ideal for walking and taking a good dip, in water that has been warmed up.
Positive experience: It's a nice beach and peaceful.
Fantastic experience: An excellent place to eat
Negative experience: A spectacular beach, but poorly maintained and very noisy at night in the Caño Guerrero area by the Surfasaurus.
Positive experience: Parking is a disaster
Fantastic experience: I love this beach.
Negative experience: It’s not usual, but the day I went it was dirty like I hadn’t seen a beach in many years.
Positive experience: The only drawback to highlight is the lack of showers and public restrooms; the restroom available costs 50 cents and is neither clean nor has paper.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, now very crowded with people, but a great beach for walking. The dog beach is great, but it should have better access and more enclosed area for pets.
Positive experience: The beach is very nice, nothing to say, but on June 22nd, the fact that there isn't even a shower surprised me as much as it angered me, because I like to travel and sleep in the car and I depend on the showers at the beaches.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches I've been to, both in terms of cleanliness and the condition of the sea. Fine sand, a very good vacation choice.
Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful, there was a bit of wind and finding parking was very difficult, but the beach in general was fine, it is recommended.

Positive experience: Good rest
Fantastic experience: The best beach in the world
Fantastic experience: Good beach for the little ones
Fantastic experience: The clams and everything they serve to eat are so good!
Fantastic experience: enjoying sunset
Fantastic experience: Ideal for swimming and taking a walk
Fantastic experience: A spectacular beach, with fine and white sand. The water is super clear and the beach is very clean. I visited it in June, and it was very quiet. It's a very long beach for relaxing walks, with several beach bars. What we missed, but I don't know if it's just in the area where I was, were showers. Fantastic experience: It's a big beach, great for going with kids!
Fantastic experience: Since I was a kid, I've been coming here, and I haven't been for 10 years as I live in Switzerland. We enjoyed a walk and eating by the sea.
Negative experience: The beach bars are very shabby, the promenade, just like the surrounding area, is very dirty and neglected.
Fantastic experience: Off-season, it is a true delight of a beach in the strict sense of the word, especially in this area near the old Tierra Mar hotel. The surroundings and the way they developed it, as well as the state of the roads, could be greatly improved.
Positive experience: Ideal for spending an unforgettable day with family, partner, and friends.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful place to be in the summer
Fantastic experience: What beach tranquility, uffff
Fantastic experience: Nice beach, romantic, good places to eat local products. I recommend it for tomorrow, Valentine's Day.
Fantastic experience: It's a very beautiful place that has a bit of magic with its characteristic rock!! It tends to be one of the most crowded beaches in the village since it is the typical image of Matalascañas. It's difficult to find parking in the area.
Fantastic experience: Family beach, very quiet. The downside was the path down to the beach. Recommended.
Fantastic experience: Really beautiful!!
Fantastic experience: If you want to enjoy a walk and never come back, this beach is ideal
Fantastic experience: Beautiful ️
Fantastic experience: Excellent and wonderful beach with fine golden sands, huge sandboxes with very clean, crystal-clear waters, calm and ideal for families with children, spacious and peaceful.
Fantastic experience: In October and with this heat, it's perfect for me on weekdays. Clean beach. Everything still working. Showers, restrooms.... The sand is very fine and clean. Best regards.
Fantastic experience: The beach itself is very nice, clean sand and quite a wide range of restaurants. The negative part is that in several areas there is a lack of maintenance.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with many kilometers to walk, but next to the bottleneck it's difficult to put up an umbrella. There are many places to buy drinks and food along the promenade, and in Caño Guerrero, which is nearby, there is a fair at night with many stalls to shop and visit.
Fantastic experience: Super!!
Fantastic experience: I was there and loved it, too bad I didn't stay, I couldn't find a place. I adored the beach and the place itself is beautiful.
Negative experience: There is no free parking in that village, what is available is paid...
Fantastic experience: Can only recommend!! We come here every year happily. The beach is like a dream with clear clean water and fine sand.
Fantastic experience: Fine sand, gentle entry into the water. Clean beach.
Fantastic experience: Good beach
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, I hope I can return.
Fantastic experience: Good beach to go with family.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful, spectacular, one of the best beaches in Spain and surpasses those of the Canary Islands.
Fantastic experience: Great beach to spend a few days in wonderful company.
Fantastic experience: La Higuerita, the one I've known all my life, since I was four or five, the most emblematic of Huelva, with its virtues and its flaws but the one that never fails, whether further away or closer but you will always find a spot, surrounded by families of all types and classes. The beach to go with a tortilla and a breaded steak and with enough time to find parking, which is already the most complicated part.
Fantastic experience: Simply one of the best beaches in Spain with a spectacular promenade. It's a pity how the beach bars in the area have been devalued....
Negative experience: The beach is beautiful, but the people who visit it leave it full of trash; I don't like the town, it's as if it was poorly made... the promenade is not in very good condition... the surroundings are gorgeous, that is true, but the truth is, I don't like it at all for summer vacations.
Fantastic experience: Desirable to spend a few days at this beach.
Fantastic experience: The Number One Beach Soft Sand Great Facilities, Nice Restaurants. If you're in Seville, take a day trip here.
Fantastic experience: Best beach I had ever been in Europe. Onsite: public toilets, plenty of “Chiringuitos”, public showers, bus station (accessibility directly from Sevilla main station), gold sand beach, deep and shallow areas for all preferences
Fantastic experience: Great place, super beach almost empty in the October what makes it even more attractive. Wonderful sunsets. Just awesome.
Fantastic experience: This beach goes on forever and is huge!. It is also usually very clean and tidy. The beach is near many bars and restaurants if you fancy a snack or beer but also is so looooooong you can virtually have it to yourself, if you head to the right hand side of the beach as you look out to sea. There is paragliding available too from the lighthouse onwards to the right. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach. A great place to bring young kids. Also public toilets are here as well.
Fantastic experience: Located next to the Doñana National Park, and bordering on Playa del Coto, it is an urbanized area that has access facilities, promenade and some historical remains such as La Torre de la Higuera, a beacon tower dating back to the 16th century . It is in ruins because of the tsunami that caused the Lisbon earthquake of the year 1755
Fantastic experience: Great place where you can sit and relax near the water with an amazing sand. If you're hungry there are a few selective restaurant near the beach where you can choose what ever you would like from fish and chips to paella. All kind of drinks. Recommend it.
