Fantastic experience: Several coves with the possibility of swimming even if you're not a good swimmer, the water is shallow. The sand is fine, very nice underfoot and all access to the beach is made of wood. Additionally, it is a historical site to visit, Roman and Greek site.

Fantastic experience: Riells Beach in l'Escala is an amazing place to spend a day at the beach. Positive experience: Playa amplia, de arena fina. Ideal para niños, ya que no es nada profunda. El agua suele estar limpia y bastante salada. Está bien provista de duchas e infraestructuras que la hacen muy funcional. Cuenta por lo menos con un puesto de Cruz Roja que cuida la seguridad y ofrece baño para personal con dificultades motrices. El defecto: tiene muchos negocios en la acera de enfrente que le resta naturalidad.

Positive experience: És la platja de l'Escala més gran, on per norma general l'aigua està calmada ( com una basa d'oli) i molt planera ( has de caminar molt per endinsar-se). Si vas amb caiac, pàdel surf... Has d'entrar per els dos extrems de la platja per la resta està prohibit. Mirant a la platja el extrem de mà esquerra hi ha un local de creu roja on t'ajudaran a banyar si ets persona de mobilitat reduïda, tenen material adequat per poder-ho fer. La platja disposa de socorristes només a la temporada alta d'estiu. En el passeig pots gaudir de molts bars, restaurants, gelateries, botigues, del mercat setmanal cada diumenge... La zona de pàrquing del voltant es zona de pagament ( zona blava) A l'hivern la platja per forca el seu encant per les estructures que monten per què la tramuntana no s'emporti la sorra, i perquè practicament totes les botigues, bars i restaurants estan tancats solen tornar a obrir per setmana Santa.

Negative experience: Me horroriza ver como muchísima gente nos malgasta el agua que el ayuntamiento pone a disposición de todos, agua que, dicho sea de paso, ya han pagado todos los contribuyentes de la localidad. Me gustaría conocer la cantidad de m3 usados de esa agua que sirve para diversión y juegos, tanto de niños como de bastantes adultos. Es penoso de ver y de aguantar.

Fantastic experience: Escala beach has a great promenade on one side without shops, surrounded by the coastal rocks, and once on the beach, there is another piece of promenade filled with bars, shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors. In winter, most places are closed, but you can still find a spot to have coffee or eat in the promenade area at the entrance of the beach before the roundabout. It's worth noting that the tramontana wind usually blows.
