Negative experience: Last year was much better, this year they fixed it because of the spring storm, there was another storm and in the end, they left it as it was, and there is quite a lot of sand missing, there is a drop-off and a sand slope that you can't even lie down on.

Fantastic experience: Clean and all-around nice beach. Restaurants and other services nearby. Showers and such are clean. Easy to get to and nice to be. There are often nice waves in the sea. Nothing to complain about.

Positive experience: Wide beach, with sand. Several beach bars open in summer and winter. In summer, it is overly crowded. The beach is nice, but the beach bars and the atmosphere are losing their Andalusian essence due to the foreign mass tourism that does not seek that.

Positive experience: It's a beautiful place and the promenade is magnificent, and Butibamba is nearby where you can eat the best loin of Málaga. In summer, I will buy the loin sandwich and take a walk at night because it's a very pleasant place and where you can see the stars best.

Fantastic experience: Good beach in Mijas Cove, very narrow, enough space for the whole family, and things to do as well. Today there is an area for kids, many restaurants and bars, between the beach and in the town. Prices for everyone. There are sunbeds and public services as well. Parking in the fairgrounds, easy access from the A7. Come and enjoy it! Pedestrian viability: Very easy, no hills here!

Positive experience: It's a great beach. Without large crowds of people, good restaurants and beach bars at very good prices. Very close to Marbella but without the high prices of Marbella.

Positive experience: Place equipped with all comforts, clean beaches, and very disciplined bathers. Compliments to the local administration, a very welcoming center provided with all the main services. Basically a small jewel. Worth visiting. Pedestrian viability: Promenade to be experienced daily, cleanliness and order taken care of in detail, beach services and along the coastline at the top. A must-see.

Positive experience: One of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol, spacious, clean, and with all the services.

Fantastic experience: Beach with nearby beach bars and restaurants, lifeguard surveillance, cameras, and every so often a coastal surveillance drone is launched. The parking is regular, blue zone, and there is an area near the beach that is not blue, and you might get lucky parking like I did, and it's about 300 meters to the beach.

Fantastic experience: Always nice at la cala, visited the tower (torre) as it was open, was €2 to look round, friendly lady in there told me about it's architectural features, then explored the floors above, the viewing platform on the roof was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I love Cala de Mijas and the playa ( beach ) is lovely. Its about 4k long, with showers and toilets. Lots of little beach side cafes and restaurants at reasonable prices. Wheel chair access at various points. Clean sand.. sea can be tranquil or rough with enough waves to keep the surfers happy. A great place!

Fantastic experience: This is such a nice area and beach. It's a clean and very plush town. It's definitely a place you can relax and enjoy.

Positive experience: It's quite rough sand and was very windy. 2 wonderfully cushioned loungers with a parasol was €10 per day.

Positive experience: Lovely beach and great promanade to walk along, parking seemed fine along it when we went in April but I'm sure it'll be different in the high season, lots of things to do ,from kids rides to zip wiring across the river, couple of small parks nearby and on the beaches.
