Negative experience: Small beach with 3 rows of umbrellas, sunbeds are okay although not very modern, beautiful sea like all along the northern coast of Alcudia and nearby areas. Prices are high, having significantly increased in recent years (with the addition of the mandatory safe box). Two sunbeds, umbrella and safe, total €18.15 per day. What justifies the rating though is related to the payment method. It is unbelievable that in 2024 payment cannot be made via phone or credit card, ridiculous! Besides forcing people to unnecessarily carry cash to the beach, it also forces municipal workers to roam along the coast with thousands of euros in their bags. For me, it's pure madness! I hope that soon, considering the huge number of foreign tourists present, Can Picafort will also adapt to modernity and the convenience of digital payments!

Fantastic experience: It's a very family-friendly beach. For being in Mallorca, it's not out of this world. However, it is long and the water, like everywhere on the island, is warm. It's convenient because you can park relatively close and there are plenty of beach bars and restaurants, so you don't have to move from there all day if you choose not to. We went on a day when there was a party, even in the water with the ducks (funny). Plus, there was gourmet hamburgers, drinks, and music. A super pleasant experience at the beach.

Positive experience: Clean beach, quite large, a lot of sand, but there are some areas with rocks. Very crowded, with showers, it has a promenade for walking, drinking, eating something in a bar or restaurant, shopping in the clothing stores, souvenirs, ice cream shops, etc.

Positive experience: I was in Mallorca for the first time and I didn't go to Palma specifically because I don't like the Ballerman tourism. Unfortunately, Can Picafort was not far from the Ballerman feeling. What I find outrageous are the prices for sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach even though you booked a hotel right on the beach. In Spain, Italy, and Greece, you have to pay for many things that are included in Turkey, and the price-performance ratio speaks for Turkey.

Positive experience: The sand is very soft and the water is turquoise and blue. Unfortunately, there are often a lot of algae and there are extremely many cigarette butts and sometimes other trash on the beach. The sunbeds are very expensive: two sunbeds, an umbrella, and a safe cost €18.15 per day.

Positive experience: We stayed at the JS Yate Hotel (200m away) during the high season. The beach is very spacious, but really very crowded - almost overflowing. Due to the many restaurants along the promenade, there is a lot of tourist hustle and bustle. The restaurants, bars, and cafés each try to cover the entire European continent gastronomically, which you have to like - you don't really get an authentic Spanish feeling here. If you're looking for relaxation and peace, you should go to more remote beaches; there are many hidden gems online. In stronger waves, the otherwise turquoise water appears dirty, but that's just stirred-up sand and algae, so nothing serious ;) To avoid carrying sand, there are foot showers, but unfortunately no full-body showers. Overall, a typical tourist beach; personally, I only need 30 minutes there.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and clean beach. A big advantage is the proximity to dining establishments and the possibility to rent pedal boats, SUPs, etc. There are sunbeds, toilets. A half-hour walk along the beach and you are at Muro, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca. I especially recommend it to families.

Positive experience: What really gets on my nerves at the beach are the many towel vendors. Once you've made it clear to one after a long back and forth that you don't want to buy anything, another vendor shows up 5 minutes later.

Fantastic experience: I love this beach because although the sand is very fine, the water is super clear and blue. Next to it, there is a promenade full of restaurants and bars. There are shower services and lifeguards. Whenever I come to Mallorca, I always end up visiting this area. There is no craziness like in other areas, and a bit further inland, you have plenty of shops and supermarkets. I love it!

Positive experience: We have known the beach for 30 years, unfortunately it gets narrower every year and another row of sunshades with loungers disappears each year. A sunshade plus two loungers costs 18.15 euros. A few years ago there were still 6 rows, and it was easy to get loungers after breakfast at 11:00 AM, and you could even book, pay, and reserve them for a whole week a few years ago. Now there are only three rows, and you can no longer get a sunshade or loungers. In the high season, the beach resembles a sardine can, and it is hard to reach the sea, towel to towel. The beach needs to be finally filled with sand, as other countries do. This is no longer acceptable. We fly to Mallorca to enjoy the beach, but this has become stressful for all holidaymakers without sun loungers. It's a pity for the beautiful Playa de Muro, turquoise sea, and truly one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, but it is too narrow now.

Lifeguards are stationed along the beach throughout the day and it’s a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. As a couple we hired two beds and a thatched umbrella thing for €18.50 for the day which I thought was reasonable.

Negative experience: Sun loungers with umbrella and safe cost 18.15 euros per day. We were already there in the morning for 2 days and paid the 20 euros. Today we were out and only arrived at the beach at 4:00 PM. Many loungers were free. And still, he wanted us to pay 18.15 euros. For 2-3 hours. I personally find it outrageous.

If the wind blows from the north, forget about the paradise beach you see in the photos. You will have a nice sea, yes, but choppy and with altered colors due to the water's murkiness. If the north wind is not present and it’s sunny, it feels like being in Sardinia. Clear water, calm sea, and very pleasant and gentle seabed. Beach with only sand well equipped with showers and various beach clubs where you can eat and drink at slightly above-average prices.

Negative experience: One star for the beautiful water, but the sandy beach is completely polluted, filled with plastic and cigarette butts. The staff from the restaurants on the promenade is quite pushy; if you just want to look at the menu for a moment, someone immediately comes over and starts chatting you up. The food looks quite good, but we were not convinced by the taste. There could be more for children as well; it always leaves only the beach or the hotel pool. We will not return to the area. The pictures show trash from less than 5 meters away.

Positive experience: The beach is really highly recommended overall. The white sand and crystal clear water make it an ideal place to visit. You can walk for a long time and wonderfully, which is particularly relaxing. However, the prices for two sunbeds and a parasol are quite outrageous. You have to fork out a whole 18.15 euros for that, which is quite expensive. Depending on the section of the beach, you will find varying amounts of dead seaweed. However, this does not significantly detract from the enjoyment of the beach.

Positive experience: The beach is beautiful and often has strong waves. The downside is the dirtiness of the streets in Can Picafort. It is the dirtiest place in all of Mallorca.

Negative experience: We came on vacation to Mallorca, my partner is in a wheelchair, and everything is not set up for him to get onto the beach, there are no signs warning of the dates when the areas for people with reduced mobility are enabled, terrible... a lot to learn from other regions where everything is well organized.

Positive experience: Great beautiful beach with crystal water, at the time we went there was some wind though daily which makes the experience a bit worse. Great transport links. I imagine that in peak season it will be packed with tourists though.

Positive experience: A beautiful beach for sunbathing and swimming. We walked past the boutiques on our way to the water and bought a souvenir or two. We particularly liked the dreamcatcher, which found its place in our bedroom. At the beach café on the promenade, we enjoyed a delicious ice cream and tried to appreciate what makes Mallorca special. Unfortunately, we couldn't. Perhaps we are spoiled by the Greek islands? We swam in the hotel pool.

Positive experience: Stayed 10 days... partner and 9-year-old girl. Brilliant resort for families. Pools were amazing, safe and relaxing. Staff do, few were nice, majority were rude. On the food, the buffet breakfast and evening meals were fine, evening meal in the restaurant bar was amazing. Kids club is strictly for 1-4 year old. No tolerance shown to older kids 7+. Even do we messaged hotel before booking and we're told no issue for 9 year olds. We had brilliant time overall. Pool by block 2 was amazing. Reception staff were excellent. More geared for younger families again, 1-4 year olds. Would visit again. Local beach was amazing. Nothing to see in local town. All shops stalls selling exact same thing. Took bus to Alcudia and it was amazing town with plenty of history. Must see.
