Fantastic experience: Super accessible beach from the C32 or from the renfe station. Multiple places to eat and pharmacies as well.
Fantastic experience: Very nice walk by the sea, perfect for strolling, having a drink or a good glass of wine or cava. It is full of shops with affordable prices.

Positive experience: Oh, how wonderful it was those three weeks. Endless beach, great bars, good food, and a lot of walking. What I really didn't like were the dogs doing their business in the sand and burying it as well. The sand is already soft enough :-) Still, I really enjoyed everything else.

Fantastic experience: Family-friendly beaches, with fine sand, and many services around.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach with fine sand and a long promenade perfect for having a drink and walking.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach with fine, clear sand and a promenade along it, with good shops, pharmacy, tapas bars, ice cream parlors, etc., although recently the rains and tides have made it a bit narrower. Just be aware that it still feels good.
Negative experience: Very bad, the beach is dirty, without sand and in poor condition. There is also a lot of trash in the garbage containers and on the streets, and the city council does nothing to solve it. All parking areas are paid except for a couple of zones that are free and always full. They only want to squeeze the maximum money out of tourists. I do not recommend coming to vacation in this town at all. Calafell is no longer what it used to be.

Positive experience: Compared to a year ago, the beach has shrunk, likely due to sand erosion from some storm. There is little sandy area and a lot of loose stones in the first 5 meters of the sea. The worst part is the high presence of electric scooters going at high speeds during the afternoon and night. A huge danger. They go without lights and constantly brush by you (or even closer...). It shouldn't be allowed, and the local police should do something about it. It feels very unsafe to walk there... It wasn't like this last year... it seems to be a trend this year. They still have time to find a solution before something serious happens.
Fantastic experience: Una playa muy larga y ancha. Bastante limpia y bien preparada con duchas y baños cada pocos metros. Servicio de socorrista solo en meses de verano.
Positive experience: Playa limpia, de arena fina, y el agua tambien muy limpia. Tiene socorristas, chiringuitos y otros tipos de divertimentos. El paseo marítimo une Segur con Calafell, y tiene restaurantes y tiendas varias. En Calafell hay infinidad de tiendas y restaurantes de todo tipo. Yo no habia estado pero me ha gustado, sobre todo la de Segur de Calafell. La recomiendo.

Fantastic experience: If you want to have fun, take a walk, swim in its beach, and enjoy a vermouth, a good meal, some waffles, or an ice cream, anything you want because Calafell has it all.

Positive experience: La playa de Calafell es una bonita y larga playa, de arena fina y aguas limpias. Bien atendida, con el mobiliario adecuado y establecimientos diversos donde culminar cualquier necesidad. Años atrás, incluso se permitió el lujo de instalar unas lujosas duchas que, este año, están secas. A mí, sequías aparte, me parece bien, porque era patente que la gente abusaba. Suele haber aparcamiento, bien de pago e incluso gratis, mirando un poco. Hago la reseña refiriéndome exclusivamente a lo que es "la playa", orilla del mar. Porque... Calafell Platja, es una parte importante y grandísima del pueblo de Calafell. Y esto, merecería una más amplia reseña.

Positive experience: Fine sand beach with shallow waters. Heavily affected by storms in winter. It has a long and beautiful seaside promenade with many bars and shops. In summer it is very crowded.

Negative experience: I was fined on Saturday for parking at 5:10 PM in an area where the ground indicates loading and unloading and at the same time it's a blue zone. The sign must be for hieroglyphs because there’s no way to understand it. I will appeal until the end. A great way to easily raise money and steal. This was on Jaume Jane Street next to the beach. Bravo.
