Negative experience: It's a shame that tents are allowed on the beach; the sand area is not very wide, and when three or more are set up, they practically take over. Parking is a nightmare.
Fantastic experience: Whenever I can, I go there. It's difficult to park, but once you arrive, it's amazing. It's ideal for going with kids since it's not deep, and if you get there early behind the football field at Palo, there's a flat area where you can park well.

Positive experience: La playa en sí tiene un ambiente regulero dependiendo del día. Lo mejor que tiene son los chiringuitos de pescaíto y poder llevarme los espetos a la arena, eso es el lo que me hace volver, eso y que no cubre mucho y para ir con los niños es más fácil de tenerlos controlados, eso sí IMPORTANTE, HAY UNA CORRIENTE DE AGUA CERCA DE LOS ESPIGONES QUE ARRASTRA Y HAY UN ESCALÓN DE ARENA Y LOS NIÑOS NO HACEN PIE. Tener mucho cuidado!
Positive experience: A good choice if you want to have a great selection of excellent chiringuitos where to eat fresh fish. But this is a city beach and locals don't seem to take care of it. The beach is dirty and the sand is full of cigarettes.You can forget about blue flag water. My suggestion: stay on the part of the beach that looks towards east, as the water is cleaner and calmer.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beaches where you can enjoy with family or friends, as there are several coves, and the water is shallower than in other beaches in Malaga. Very peaceful and surrounded by restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, kiosks, etc. Very good. Additionally, from July 12 to 16, there are the Palo festivities.
Fantastic experience: Long live Spain, many beach bars where you can eat fish and especially free beaches where you don't have to pay a lot of money to enjoy the sea, as is the case in Italy. However, there are equipped beach clubs where you can use sun loungers and umbrellas. Great area to stay, save money, and enjoy the sea just a few meters from Malaga.

Fantastic experience: Super beach for big and small, everything very clean and really nicely arranged, everywhere there are opportunities to express oneself freely. Sports options include beach volleyball, football, basketball courts, everything is new or in good condition. Of course, not everything that glitters is gold, but overall it's well done, we are happy to be here.

Fantastic experience: The beaches of the populous, traditional, and maritime neighborhood of El Palo and Pedregalejo are by far the best in the city of Malaga. The only place where you can still feel like you are in the Mediterranean along the entire Costa del Sol, thanks to its typical beachfront houses that are protected, as no hotels or apartments have been built in massive buildings. The promenade that runs along the sea stretches for 6 kilometers and reaches right into the city center, highly recommended for a pleasant walk along the sea without motor vehicles, practicing sports with its free outdoor gym equipment, and numerous beach bars to enjoy the typical fresh fish from the bay.

The seaside restaurants are excellent, the grilled fish is very good and the sardines even better! You need to arrive early to find a parking spot. Positive experience: Filthy beach and disgusting water but restaurants along the promenade are good.
Positive experience: Pretty nice sandy beaches with just a few stones in places. Nice waters which didn't seem to be affected by the medusas that are causing problems along the Costa del Sol this year.
