Fantastic experience: A beach that can be reached by walking 15 minutes from the Vilanova i la Geltrú Renfe station. There is parking for customers of the Nativa beach bar. Good tapas at the beach bar. Quiet beach with access for people with reduced mobility. Quite transparent waters and very fine sand. I spent a very special day and enjoyed that beach for the first time. I will return!

Negative experience: We went on the first day, the beach is very beautiful, but the water stings, not because of the salt; many people on the beach experienced this. We don't know if it's the solvent from the boats or something else. We moved to Ribes Roges beach where it didn't sting at all.

Fantastic experience: This year I have been again to this fabulous beach, I usually go in the afternoon when the sun is setting, so there are fewer people. Both last year and this one, the water temperature is perfect, ideal. The water is deep but not much unless you venture further into the sea. I have swum quite a bit inland, and still I can stand up. There is a restaurant with music, so it is livelier and keeps you company if you go alone. The place itself is nice as it gives a more private atmosphere and for my taste, it is quieter than longer beaches but with more people. If I can, I will return next summer; if not, I will keep a good memory of Vilanova i la Geltrú and its beautiful clean beaches.

If you can, go to other beaches and avoid Vilanova i la Geltrú because the local police and the parking ticket enforcement are behind every car that goes to the beach to fine us and tow our cars to make money. Not only do they fine you, but they also take your car. They have extended the blue ticket hours until 9 PM, and the municipal officers are circling all day along the coast instead of going inland to see what’s happening, just to fine those of us who want to spend a peaceful day at the beach. But every time we go, we come back with a fine from the municipal officers or for parking tickets. I recommend that you do not go to the beach in Vilanova i la Geltrú.

Positive experience: The beach bar leaves much to be desired. At the bar, a really rude guy didn't let us take a table because we had a puppy. The waitress gave us a table in a distant spot and since there was nothing closer, we stayed. The service was very poor and the food was mediocre to bad. We won't be coming back.

Fantastic experience: A great beach to go with children, flat and with calm waters. Easy parking in the industrial areas although you have to walk about 10 minutes, there is a lifeguard station, a beach bar, and restrooms. For me, it is a beach that meets my needs as a family.

Positive experience: It is enjoyed with tranquility, family atmosphere. The sand is fine and the water is very clear; small fish can be seen in the water. There is a beach bar nearby. Lifeguard service is available until 7 PM, and there is a beach nearby for enjoying with dogs. You have to park in the blue zone in areas close to the beach; you can only reach it on foot or by bike. It was great for spending the afternoon to enjoy and forget about the heat of these days.

Negative experience: Beach 200 meters from the urban center of Villanova without a lifeguard, without security, without trash cans, without cleaning. Nice beach for something to happen to you and you have no one to ask for help. But don't worry about parking; it's surrounded by blue zone, the most expensive in the area.
