Negative experience: There is no beach, no space on the sand. Then all rocks in the water. It wasn't like this before.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, perfect for adults and children
Fantastic experience: Typical chiringuito El Bombo on the beach in Cala de Mijas. I've known it for almost 20 years, still good and the owner Pepe is a great man.
Fantastic experience: This beach is usually not very crowded, the access is in an area where there is parking. Unfortunately, the developments and houses prevent more access points. It's a sandy beach with a family-friendly atmosphere. There is a lifeguard station.
Positive experience: Pepe Bombo's beach bar stands out for its good food and service. Good quality/price ratio. We will return.
Positive experience: Very nice beach and not crowded
Fantastic experience: Luxurious, there are no stones like in others, but for parking in summer... Good luck to you hahaha
Positive experience: Excellent beach with good services, especially lifeguards.
Positive experience: Lovely little family beach.
Positive experience: Easy to access, numerous beach bars, facilities and activities.
Negative experience: A beach with very dark sand full of stones, very narrow with a steep slope to access the sea. Personally, I didn't like it.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach
Negative experience: More stones than in a quarry and the beach is in very bad condition
Positive experience: Beach that connects with La Cala Beach. You can walk from one to the other. The sand is quite fine. Upon entering the sea, there is a stretch with many broken shells and small stones. There are beach bars.
Positive experience: El Bombo Beach is a picturesque beach. Known for its tranquil atmosphere and golden sand, it is ideal for families and those looking to relax under the sun. Positive experience: Not a very nice beach, quite a lot of seaweed and areas that lack sand due to storms that refill with river sand. Showers without water, not even for your feet.
Negative experience: There are attendants hired by the town hall for a private company, and the beach is full of rocks that destroy your feet when you enter the water.
Positive experience: Good beach lovely bars
Fantastic experience: Really an experience, definitely worth it especially because of the 'coastal path', a great walk right along the sea with many information boards about nature etc. You have to do it.
Positive experience: Very nice beach with a restaurant nearby and toilet and everything. Clear recommendation.
Positive experience: Rocks and very deep sea. But it has beach bars and sunbeds.
Fantastic experience: cozy! sun loungers and you can get a drink.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach with parking. You can stroll along the whole way.
Fantastic experience: Had a lovely lunch there today
Positive experience: Wide and accessible beach
Negative experience: I usually go every summer and this year it surprised me for the worse, a lot of sand has disappeared, and the water is dirty, with a lot of algae.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with adaptive bathing area, 3 restaurants with sun loungers & shades, wc, shower facilities (not available due to current drought), gym facilities and local parking.
Fantastic experience: Lovely beach with walkway to Capabino one way Fuengirola the other.
Fantastic experience: The beach bar serves great food, I recommend it. The service is very good too.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Positive experience: March 19, was here, the beach is still under construction, large machinery is driving around to spray the sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas are not yet in use everywhere. (But we eventually found one.) Showers and toilets are also still out of service, due to the drought... curious how this will be in the high season. There is a nice and wide promenade for a walk.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach for strolls
Positive experience: Tradition and straightforward.
Positive experience: The restaurant has no competition, so it takes advantage of the quality and prices. The staff lacks professionalism.
Fantastic experience: Great. It has a beach gym, small playground and the possibility to go for a looong walk along the beach on a nice wooden walkway. Great for strollers or morning run. Sunset.
Positive experience: Unfortunately, very long waiting times
Fantastic experience: An authentic place with polite, attentive, and friendly waiters. Excellent food. We ordered a salad, 4 draft beers, and a seafood paella for 2 for only 50 euros. Super great place. We will return!
Positive experience: Delicious for lunch! The Gambas Pil Pil was great, the peppers were too oily for my taste, but they were still nice and big and flavorful.
Fantastic experience: Excellent
Positive experience: It's a pity that, due to the drought, there's no water in the restrooms of the beach bars or in the showers on the beach.
Positive experience: It has everything good (access, parking, restrooms, etc.) except that there are many waves for going with children. Today the yellow flag was up all day.
Fantastic experience: Great place for lunch, nice beach and great food
Fantastic experience: A fantastic chuiringuito back to its best. Great fresh fish, lovely staff and no “ rip off” prices.
Positive experience: Good beach and facilities
Fantastic experience: Playa El Bombo is a beautiful clean beach. But what impressed me more was the fact that not only they had first aid facilities on site but they had facilities for disabled people where they can sit or lie down .They had proper equipment to even take them far a swim in the sea. I've never seen that in many beaches that I've visited. A deserving 5 stars.
Positive experience: Nice beach. Sand a bit gritty. Shops, bars & restaurants close by. Tractors clean the beach each morning.
