Fantastic experience: Nice place for a quiet rest in November.
Fantastic experience: There are a lot of fish, big and small, among the rocks, perfect for snorkeling, well-maintained beach and crystal clear water, parking nearby.
Positive experience: The beach is very clean, a little rocky but the water is sandy. You can go down to the beach via stairs that are not very high. It's great for those looking for a calm sea, just a narrow area compared to the beaches we're used to in Spain. Parking is free.
Negative experience: Crowded with people, very murky water. And what bothers me the most is that you have to pay the 'gorrillas' to park in an open lot.
Positive experience: The cove is very beautiful, the access is perfect, and we ate at the cove bar and had a great meal.

Fantastic experience: A very nice little cove with the bar next to it. You can also do small routes around the cove. Recommended.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular, the truth is that the water was a bit dirty with fuel when entering due to the proximity to the port, but it is highly recommended to spend an afternoon there and the views from the parking lot are spectacular.
Positive experience: Edit review: I went during peak season and it is already complicated to access early in the morning. The parking and beach are full, impossible to enter with dogs, and the water even changes color. I recommend it outside of peak season. Previous review: It has quite a large parking area, also with a space for motorhomes. You access the beach via stairs. It has small stones, and the water is crystal clear. There are two coves, the second can be accessed by continuing along the wooden walk. I believe they allow dogs, I didn't see any no entry signs, and at least outside of peak season, they don't say anything. There is a restaurant on the beach itself, and it's quite nice, although I didn't try the food, everything looked good.

Positive experience: A lot of people... and coarse sand. It could be a little cleaner. However, a beautiful beach.
Positive experience: Small sandy cove, very family-friendly. Very busy since it is the only one near Cartagena. It has a bus and two parking lots. The water is clean, although somewhat cloudy due to the understandable excess of bathers. There is a rocky area. You can easily see fish. There are foot showers but no showers. It has lifeguards and a beach bar.
Positive experience: It's a small cove, accessible and with good parking. The sand is made of pebbles but is full of cigarette butts, sunflower seed shells, and some scattered plastic containers among the rocks. It lacks cleanliness.
Positive experience: Beautiful cove with calm waters. Too many people in summer. Another downside is that there are parking attendants who ask for money for 'helping' you park...
Positive experience: It's small but nice. We used water shoes because of the stones and the burning ground. A good swim.

Fantastic experience: Lovely beach, the beach bar was shut because we visited in November and the locals were wearing coats whilst we sunbathed. Water was clean and clear. No waves so easy to swim.
Fantastic experience: A charming spot in Cartagena that can still be given much more utility and splendor. Magnificent restaurant.
Fantastic experience: Small cove but very quiet. There's only one restaurant. Clean waters and not deep.
Positive experience: Small cove next to the city, too crowded. It has a beach bar and restaurant.

Fantastic experience: I think some comments are a bit ugly towards people from other nationalities. The cove is beautiful, comfortable, and the water is clear, warm, and very calm. It is true that it gets crowded, logically because the City Council of Cartagena helps locals and tourists have a fantastic beach day (parking, bars, kiosks, bathrooms, a promenade, bus line...) and that encourages visits. We arrived on a Saturday in July around noon and there was space, and people go about their business without causing problems, so safety is very high. Learning to live in a community, it is an almost clean and wonderful cove. It is true that there was some dirt, but like in almost all the beaches in Spain: that will be the big black hole of our society. PS: the service of the 12 (Beach Bus) is magnificent. It always comes on time and the driver is lovely.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, unique beach in Cartagena. Ideal for family visits, as its sea is constantly calm every day, except for climatological exceptions. You can access it from the free paved parking, through some brightly colored stairs until you reach the cherished beach. It has lifeguard services, a kiosk, showers, trash bins, sinks, and changing rooms. It is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
Positive experience: This beach located a little bit far from the city center is small and crowded during the summer with few meters large that floor has small rocks instead sand, small waves, the water is reasonably clean but there are some rocks and depressions underwater for safety requires attention mainly with kids. There is a free small park lot besides the road just at the entrance for the beach, but usually there are no vacancies. I recommend to carry drinkable water, sunblock, sunshade, beach chair or mat. It is not easy accessible to wheelchairs due a lot of stair steps.
Fantastic experience: This a cute little beach about 3km from the city centre of Cartagena. The beach area has safety net across to keep swimmers safe. Lots of car parks available too and a couple of bar/cafeteria on the beach.

Then, at the beach, at the time we went, the people and the atmosphere were a bit unpleasant. You have to be more attentive to not getting stolen than to enjoy the cove.

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of fish, big and small, among the rocks, perfect for snorkeling, well-maintained beach and crystal clear water, parking nearby.
Negative experience: The cove was very nice and the water was very calm for snorkeling, but with the guys hanging around and then the people that were on the beach, I was not relaxed at any moment.
Negative experience: The bay offers an exceptional snorkeling experience, earning a five-star rating. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, the beach itself, is quite unkempt, littered with debris and cigarette butts left by locals. It requires a thorough clean and continued maintenance, as its current state is quite disappointing. This is unfortunate, as with proper care, this location could easily be transformed into a five-star beach. Additionally, the nearby restaurant's service was lacking, we felt as though we were a burden to our waiter. Overall, the service and experience we received was unsatisfactory.
Fantastic experience: It's a beautiful cove, somewhat crowded, but it's lovely, ideal for snorkeling. It's a shame not to go; it has its own parking and even has a beach bar and public bathrooms. I loved it.
Fantastic experience: Free beach with a bar restaurant. If you are not coming from a place like Sardinia or Sicily, where there's a spectacular sea, this beach is pleasant, a bit crowded in August but very livable and welcoming. Clean water and a pebble beach (very hard for the umbrella) but easy swimming even for snorkeling.

Positive experience: A beautiful cove both inside and outside the water. Ideal for going with children, snorkeling or even diving. There is a walkway that connects it to the city. As cons: The amount of people 'helping you' to park while asking for money in exchange. It was about to be August, completely full of very disrespectful people with music at full volume. Lack of cleanliness.
Positive experience: Very good for starting in diving!
Fantastic experience: Nice tiny beach in a small bay, good for swimming and scuba diving. Can be busy during summer time.
Positive experience: The beach was very dirty. It was a pleasant experience diving and watching fish swim. Overall it's one of the dirtiest beaches we've ever been on. Recommended if you don't mind all the rubbish :)
Fantastic experience: Hidden gem if you like snorkelling or amateur scuba diving. Beer is expensive in the restaurant and the staff are all over the place but hard to get their attention. Better to use the beach bar.

Fantastic experience: Lovely beach, the beach bar was shut because we visited in November and the locals were wearing coats whilst we sunbathed. Water was clean and clear. No waves so easy to swim.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to relax and have a good time
Fantastic experience: A charming spot in Cartagena that can still be given much more utility and splendor. Magnificent restaurant.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, very clean with bar and restaurant, we love it.
Fantastic experience: The beach to go at any time... urban beach just meters from the center... a must-stop if you go out for a walk, run, bike, or drive... beautiful sunsets!
Positive experience: Cozy place
Fantastic experience: Small cove but very quiet. There's only one restaurant. Clean waters and not deep.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, my cove!
Fantastic experience: Small but very nice
Positive experience: Small beach in Cartagena, I visited it at night since during the day it's full, a peaceful place.
Positive experience: The park is very small and there are too many people for such a small cove.
Fantastic experience: A very nice little cove with the bar next to it. You can also do small routes around the cove. Recommended.
Positive experience: Small cove next to the city, too crowded. It has a beach bar and restaurant.
Positive experience: A lot of people... and coarse sand. It could be a little cleaner. However, a beautiful beach.
Fantastic experience: There are a lot of fish, big and small, among the rocks, perfect for snorkeling, well-maintained beach and crystal clear water, parking nearby.
Positive experience: Very beautiful cove, very clean and transparent waters. Unlike other beaches in Murcia, the water is fresh and allows you to cool off. There is no current or swell, very calm waters, you can easily reach the point where it is shallow to swim peacefully. It has a beach bar where you can have lunch or snacks and drink something. The only downside is that it is small and very crowded, but even so, I recommend it and will happily repeat the enjoyment of a very comfortable beach day.
Negative experience: Horrible. I don't understand why it has a blue flag. Dirty, overcrowded, people on top of each other; with uncivil behaviors in some parts of the cove; a significant amount of noise (very loud music from some speaker). The public facilities are simply disgusting. I won't be coming back.
Negative experience: The cove was very nice and the water was very calm for snorkeling, but with the guys hanging around and then the people that were on the beach, I was not relaxed at any moment.

Fantastic experience: Cute
Fantastic experience: A beautiful and calm place, don't hesitate to go there.
Negative experience: Magnificent site...on the seaside. A site strewn with trash, cigarette butts, an open-air trash can, beaches near the parking lot. Yes, the sea is good and beautiful. Let's pick up our waste and all enjoy nature...
Positive experience: Beautiful cove with calm waters. Too many people in summer. Another downside is that there are parking attendants who ask for money for 'helping' you park...
Positive experience: I liked the clean water but it wasn't crystal clear, there were many fish to spend a great day. What I don't like is the parking situation, there are people who can't be identified by nationality who start directing based on their own will and can be violent among themselves. And the bar at the cove serves good food, not bad. We ordered baked octopus which they said was tender 'it wasn't that much', grilled lobster 'a 7.5', patatas bravas a 7, fried anchovies a 9, and the friendliness of the staff was a 10, except for the manager 'boss' or whatever he was, who was a bit rude.
Negative experience: The worst beach of our trip. Overcrowded, one umbrella on top of another, almost literally. Being so close to the port, it is quite dirty and I suppose that the filthy people also contribute their share. In summer, I think some hotels bring everyone down here and you can already see how 'nice' it can be. We won't be coming back or at least not between July and August.
Positive experience: I really like the cove, small but very quiet, perfect if you go with kids, it seemed ideal for a family plan, there were quite a few people, but that's the most normal thing for a beach in summer, especially in mid-August.
Negative experience: We found the sea choppy, so we couldn't appreciate how beautiful it was, but it's true that it was lovely, we didn’t go back. The problem with that beach is the atmosphere; we went in the afternoon and we didn’t like the vibe at all. You have to be very careful with your belongings because of the people who go to that beach. It's a shame, they leave everything behind, which is disgusting. There's a small cove nearby with a much better atmosphere where you can swim peacefully. The worst vibe of all the beaches we've been to.
Fantastic experience: What a joy this beach is! When you pass the first ten meters, you have peace and quiet around the rocks, in a transparent sea.
Positive experience: The cove is very beautiful, with clear and clean water, without jellyfish. Very crowded and with pebbly sand. It's a pity that there are quite a few cigarette butts.
Positive experience: Beautiful little beach, water is clean. Many people, finding space is too difficult.
Fantastic experience: Oh, really good place for kids, a little bit noisy and dirty from smoking people around everywhere.
Negative experience: Very crowded. We left as soon as we arrived. It must be beautiful in winter.
Positive experience: Very beautiful blue flag cove but very small and without space to put the towel. Filled with foreigners who knew it.
Fantastic experience: Small beach with lovely crystal clear warm water and lovely surrounding views, of course picked the only day to visit that the cafe was not open but will try again
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place, very busy. But you feel very comfortable, with a beach bar and a restaurant where you eat great.
Negative experience: Small overcrowded beach, not highly recommended, next to a refinery, has great value due to the military batteries like Santa Ana and the newly restored promenade, but as for the beach, it is only a matter of months before it gets dirty, vandalized, and destroyed like the rest.
Fantastic experience: Very good beach
Positive experience: For rice, one of the places to visit. The views of the beach in Cartagena are usually packed, but it's worth making a reservation. You won't leave hungry... aside from rice, any fish here is guaranteed to be fresh.
Positive experience: It's small but nice. We used water shoes because of the stones and the burning ground. A good swim.
Negative experience: The beach is very beautiful, let's be honest, but if you're looking for a quiet bathroom, this is not the place. It gets crowded during peak summer dates. The parking is full of 'gorrillas'.
Fantastic experience: A magnificent cove. The water is very clean and clear. My partner and I loved it. It's better to go early because a lot of people come. It's a very tranquil cove. And there is parking, but it fills up quickly. The truth is that it's a marvel.
Fantastic experience: I love the sea. I haven't gone swimming but I've been to see the sea, the cove,... it relaxes me.
Positive experience: Small cove in Cartagena with free parking before descending to the cove. The path from the parking lot to the cove is short with comfortable and wide stairs. The cove has a bar/restaurant (recommend booking in advance) and public restrooms. Arrive early as the cove gets crowded in the summer season. Clean water with little current, recommended for children.
Fantastic experience: The whole family really enjoyed it!!! The scuba diving was amazing.
Positive experience: Cove with a small pleasant beach. Excellent swimming, but no umbrellas.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach of Cartagena.
Negative experience: If you like calm, tranquility, and respect, just pass by. This beach offers neither rest nor relaxation. This little cove could be very pleasant, but that was without counting on the disrespect and incivility of the people. First, you step onto a beach of tiny pebbles, not to say a giant ashtray (this is neither a joke nor an exaggeration) and all sorts of trash. Then, to find a hoped-for spot without being stuck next to your neighbors, good luck. The water is murky and not clean (thanks to dirty people...). Lastly, a local population, lacking education, is omnipresent on this beach (people walk on your towel, scream and talk loudly, party in the sand and leave their papers behind). In short, a horror, never again! It's a shame, it could be a very pleasant place if people had a minimum of respect and education.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with very clear water, the water was nice. The setting is really beautiful with a rock from which it is possible to dive into the water.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful place any day of the week. Clean beach. The water is just fantastic!
Fantastic experience: A magical place away from the overcrowded people. Restaurant with good fish. From there you can continue driving along the road that runs alongside the sea and visit other coves.
Fantastic experience: Small cove with a very beautiful and unique beach. Fine sand and crystal clear water, there is a restaurant/bar overlooking the beach, open until about 6 PM, seafood specialties, recommended! There is a dirt parking lot (with unauthorized parking attendants in addition to the ticket) also for motorcycles facing the sea, free showers are also available. Recommended!
Positive experience: Small rocky beach with very fine pebbles. The water is very clear, there is a restaurant nearby, two parking lots, and public restrooms. There are a lot of people from early morning during the summer season.
Positive experience: Nice, small and quite clean beach outside the town of Cartagena.
Fantastic experience: I really liked the beach, for me it is the best beach in Cartagena.
Fantastic experience: The place is very nice. One of the best spots in Cartagena in summer. The downside is the guys who come to stare.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, sandwiches and cold drinks at a very good price, a luxury
Positive experience: If it weren't for the fact that it's not sand... it would be a perfect place. That said, a bit crowded... it's not bad at all.
Negative experience: It is always crowded and the water is often very murky, plus the atmosphere is bad because many people just go to drink and smoke.
Positive experience: A very beautiful beach, although it tends to get crowded.
Positive experience: Very good for starting in diving!
Positive experience: It's a very beautiful place to spend the afternoon with your friends or family, but the only problem is that there are a lot of people.
Negative experience: The beach is not sandy, it looks like a river one. And for parking, there are attendants. I can't stand them. If you can, park up and ignore them.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular cove with incredible views. Beachfront café ideal for having a drink while watching the sea.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove with crystal clear waters. It has parking, restrooms, and devices to remove sand from your feet. There is also a restaurant.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular, the truth is that the water was a bit dirty with fuel when entering due to the proximity to the port, but it is highly recommended to spend an afternoon there and the views from the parking lot are spectacular.
Fantastic experience: I think some comments are a bit ugly towards people from other nationalities. The cove is beautiful, comfortable, and the water is clear, warm, and very calm. It always comes on time and the driver is lovely.
Negative experience: The water was murky and there were many stones... I have been to much better coves.
Positive experience: We loved the place and the possibility of snorkeling in a natural environment. The only downside is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the people who leave trash on the beaches. Other than that, beautiful!
Fantastic experience: A beautiful cove, although very crowded, especially on weekends. Access ramp for reduced mobility with two parking spaces. Restaurant at the cove. It's better to reserve.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and great for diving
Negative experience: Pretty cove, but the sand is incredibly dirty and full of seeds, food, cigarettes, etc. I went on a Wednesday night and the area above the parking lot was full of cars with music and an unpleasant atmosphere, with people drinking alcohol and getting drunk. Then, at the beach, at the time we went, the people and the atmosphere were a bit unpleasant. You have to be more attentive to not getting stolen than to enjoy the cove.
Positive experience: Nice cove near the city of Cartagena. Clean waters although with some plastic due to the neglect around the rocks. It's a shame to have such a poorly maintained environment in terms of cleanliness and civility in general. Excellent area for snorkeling and enjoying the marine wildlife. One should be careful with the rocks in the sea at both ends of the cove.
Fantastic experience: It's a wonderful place. Fifteen minutes from downtown Cartagena, but with very limited parking. Another option is to walk for almost an hour. The restaurant in the cove is fantastic. Very good products, excellent cuisine and the waitstaff are very professional people.
Fantastic experience: Good beach but in summer it's necessary to have an umbrella.
Positive experience: A little local beach. People are friendly. There is a public toilet and somewhere to change. No umbrella or shade so bring your own. It’s not very accessible as you have to walk up and down some stairs to get to it. Nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The paella looked delicious.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, unique beach in Cartagena. Ideal for family visits, as its sea is constantly calm every day, except for climatological exceptions. You can access it from the free paved parking, through some brightly colored stairs until you reach the cherished beach. It is not easy accessible to wheelchairs due a lot of stair steps.
Fantastic experience: thank you
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, clean water
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches with fine gravel. Beautiful views, the possibility of jumping from cliffs.
Fantastic experience: Pebble beach (gravel) I prefer this to sand because in 2 seconds everything falls down. Otherwise, the place is very nice, quite crowded, but the water is crystal clear.
Fantastic experience: A very beautiful bay. Especially early in the morning when there are no people yet. A favorite spot for divers. Wonderful restaurant, very delicious coffee))
Positive experience: Nice, a bit crowded but beautiful, and with plenty of parking. The restaurant closes at 8:00 PM.
Fantastic experience: The best beach and cove in Spain, simply a paradise
Negative experience: It should be called antisocial cove! It's a shame both the beach and the water are full of waste, plastic bags, cardboard, containers, cups,... People looking for a fight, shouting with others, loud music from different places......
Positive experience: The water is completely clean. There is a part of the cove that is more family-friendly and another that is quieter, without children. An advantage is that it has a beach bar, restrooms, and parking.
Negative experience: Very crowded and the beach is very dirty. Perhaps due to so many people going there and because the port where the boats are loaded is nearby. The waves are very strong, not recommended for children.
Fantastic experience: Nice cove always quite crowded; what I don't like are the young people who show up with their modified cars and the music at full volume. Luckily, the police come by often to keep things in check.
Positive experience: A small and beautiful cove, with an impressive cliff underwater. It's a shame that all you see is trash when you start diving. Diapers, soda cans, canned goods,... everything people bring to spend the day at the beach seems to be thrown right there. Very sad.
Positive experience: Small quaint beach with a beach bar to enjoy the view and have a beer. Calm water to go for a swim.
Fantastic experience: One of my favorite places to swim with the family, whether you have kids or not. You can go to this cove. It's amazing ❤️
