Fantastic experience: One of my favorite beaches in Mallorca, I love to visit it again and again in every season.

Positive experience: Good beach but small

Positive experience: Nice beach, but it depends on the day due to the amount of seaweed it may have. Always very crowded. There are rocks, but it's mostly sandy when you get into the water. If it rained heavily the day before, it's better not to go because of the sewage waste that may reach it.

Negative experience: The water here can be life-threatening for swimmers! Today, with quite high waves, I was unable to swim back to the beach on my own (I was only about 10-15m out!), as the current kept pulling me back into the water. THANK YOU to the vigilant surfer who saw me. I would have liked to signal for help, but I was still a bit in shock. Take care of yourselves, I was lucky.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Very cozy and everyone is very friendly. Unfortunately, the beach is not cleaned. Cigarette butts and plastic waste are not collected and lie in the sand for days. It's a shame that tourists behave this way. Please put ashtrays or small trash bins by the sun umbrellas. The Chinese masseuses are annoying. They keep going back and forth and ask all the time if you want a massage. You know that diseases can be transmitted.

Positive experience: The beach was very small and crowded. Some parts were also closed off because it was contaminated by sewage. However, you could access the contaminated area from all sides.

Fantastic experience: The place is brilliant, the environment is beautiful, the tourists are friendly and particularly kind (unfortunately, the locals are less so). Very delicious cocktails, sandy beach, beautiful blue sea. However, I think the sunbed for 70€ is outright outrageous, but on the other hand, it is comfortable :) If you are in Mallorca, you must see this! The bar is at a completely average price.

Fantastic experience: A fairly large beach if considered a cove, several bars for lunch there, although none are inexpensive. That said, it is completely overcrowded with umbrellas and loungers, so it is necessary to go mega early.

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful cove! We arrived at 8 in the morning and there was nobody, then it started to fill up. It has bathrooms in pretty good condition, showers, and two beach bars. I highly recommend this cove because the water is crystal clear, amazing. We parked 9 minutes walking away and for free. Additionally, there is sunbed rental although the price is through the roof, €19/day...

Water and swimming conditions: The water in the Cala Major area is usually clean and transparent, with a gradual entry into the sea, which makes this beach ideal for families with children. The sea here is usually calm, although in windy weather small waves may occur. Infrastructure: The beach is well equipped: here you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, there are showers and toilets. There are also lifeguards on the beach, which provides additional safety for vacationers. Entertainment and sports: Various water activities are available in Cala Major, such as jet ski rentals, banana boat rides, parasailing and other types of active recreation. You can also go snorkeling in the coastal area. Restaurants and bars: Along the promenade and near the beach there are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars where you can try local dishes, seafood and drinks. Many establishments offer a beautiful view of the sea. In short, the beach is normal.

Positive experience: This beach also offers the possibility to use sunbeds at a cost of €6 each and umbrellas at a cost of €7. Additionally, there are various beach bars and restaurants, there are bathrooms and also showers.

Fantastic experience: A lovely sandy beach not far from Porto Pi, you can go early in the morning and reserve a paella at the beach restaurant, while you take a dip in the water, stroll around the beach, or take photos. Very important, it has showers and there is a very professional lifeguard service here to help you. I absolutely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Cala Major is an absolute gem on Mallorca! As soon as I arrived, I was in awe – golden sand, turquoise water, it’s simply a paradise. The entire beach is super well-maintained, so you can relax. The best part is that everything is right at your fingertips – sunbeds, umbrellas, and even some great spots to grab a delicious bite. For me, it’s the number one spot on Mallorca for chilling out and enjoying a swim in the sea. If you’re looking for a great place to soak up the sun, Cala Major is definitely the spot for you! ☀️

Fantastic experience: Today I went and it is perfect in every aspect, crystal clear water and a unique atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: The beach is super beautiful. Fine sand and above all clean. You can walk very far into the water. The water is totally clean and clear, no algae or sewage dirt. Unfortunately, not often in Mallorca. You can observe great fish and crabs. On the promenade, you can also enjoy something to eat or drink a cocktail. We definitely recommend the beach and will not be there for the last time!

Fantastic experience: This place is very nice, very close to the hotels in the Port. You can get there on Bus No. 4 in 10 minutes and go down a staircase that will lead you to the beach. The water is very clean and has a very Caribbean temperature, the sand is golden. You can walk a long stretch without the water covering you. The surroundings are beautiful, although not the people who frequent it, as there are some smoking marijuana, playing music at excessively high volumes, and littering the area. This cove has 4 sectors of loungers... 3 that cost €19 and 1 for €70... watch out for that. Undoubtedly, it is a beach you must visit.

Fantastic experience: Pretty beach. View of the Palace of Marvent. Easy access to Palma via bus number 4 which comes every 10 minutes.

Positive experience: Inlet made up of three coves, crystal clear and clean water, with interesting views. However, you find yourself in the midst of large hotel complexes. Equipped with all services including bar, beach bar, restaurant, showers, and restrooms. Free beach and theoretically there are also many umbrellas with loungers available for rent, but it's best to arrive early because arriving at 10 there would have still been many available, but they were reserved (there were towels, one covering the two adjacent loungers and the umbrella attendant said that those were already reserved).

Positive experience: Cala Major has a pretty beach with in high season some bars to enjoy a drink, but quite crowded.

Positive experience: Small, clean, and beautiful beach. We were there in the morning, and by lunchtime it got increasingly crowded. I think it's better to avoid afternoons during high season. Toilets, showers, drinks, and snacks on site. Umbrellas (with safe) and loungers can be purchased (we paid €25 for 3 loungers and an umbrella).

Fantastic experience: I couldn't go to Calo des Moro but I really wanted to visit the beach. I'm not sure if it was because it was a weekday, but there weren't many people, and it was great to just float in the water peacefully!

Negative experience: The worst beach is packed to the brim, it's impossible to lay down a towel, we are on top of each other, the beach is very dirty, even in the sea we are on top of each other. To take a shower, you have to queue and wait 20 to 30 minutes. This beach is very noisy, people play music extremely loud, making it impossible to be at peace. I do not recommend this beach to anyone. When you want to eat there again.

Positive experience: One does not expect to find a beach of this quality in the center of Palma. Admittedly, it is very crowded, but it remains very clean with water that stays clear, even at the height of the afternoon. The only downside: the difficulties in finding parking nearby. Therefore, prefer the bus to get there.

Fantastic experience: Excellent beach. We stayed at a hotel near it. In the morning, there is no one there, and you can fully enjoy swimming without people. It's quite lively during the day, but there is always a spot to find. You can rent a sunbed for 6 euros and an umbrella for 7 euros, but you can manage without them. There is a bar and café on the beach. Overall, it's a wonderful place to relax. If you have the opportunity to rent a hotel with a view of this beach, definitely do it; incredible feelings from the beauty out of the window are guaranteed. I also recommend bringing a mask to see how many different fish swim under your feet. You can swim to the rocks, and there is always plenty of fish there, and you can also see crabs and octopuses. We also swam under a bridge and found ourselves in a beautiful place surrounded by rocks, and right next to us, a cormorant was swimming and catching fish. You might be lucky too, and you'll see all this beauty right next to you.

Negative experience: A very beautiful clear beach, but since there were a lot of people, the beach was crowded, really a lot of people! When I swam in it, it felt like I was swimming in plastic; the beach was really dirty, (full of plastic, there was even a condom wrapper). Very dirty beach!!!! I even left this beach because the plastic would brush against you while swimming. POOR FISH AND NATURE!!! I do not recommend it unless you just want to look at this beautiful beach, but better to go in the morning! Easy access but not easy to find. And no parking, it’s a hassle to park.

Positive experience: The turquoise clean water embraced by the comfortable beach, quite spacious, although a bit crowded, equipped but with enough space for DIY bathers. Various refreshment points and showers are present. Like the tourists, many, but also locals, which is entirely predictable considering the proximity to Palma de Mallorca. Parking nearby on blue lines, but with a maximum of 2 hours; if you stay longer, you need to take another ticket.

Fantastic experience: Every time I come to Mallorca, I come here. I love it, although during the peak season it is full of people... there's not even room for a pin...

Negative experience: There is less and less space to bring your things and lie on the sand. It is overcrowded with paid hammocks and umbrellas.

Positive experience: It's a very crowded beach. You can get there by bus. It wasn't as clean as others. There is a place to rinse off the salt.

Positive experience: The showers have been clattering for 7 years, they wobble, the pressure is very poor, calcified...no foot shower like at other beaches...such a rich place...Marivent Royal Palace next door and a 5-star hotel right next to it. But I don’t understand why nothing is being done there. It works in Palmanova and countless other places here on the island...the new winter job as a suggestion would be quite delightful!!!!

Fantastic experience: The hotel 'Be Live Adults Only Marivent' made a rather poor impression upon immediate arrival with the assigned room, and there was only a glimpse of the expected sea view when leaning far over the balcony. Upon immediate inquiry and for a corresponding fee (!), they were quite quickly willing to perform an upgrade. From then on, the only criticism was the somewhat difficult entrance to reach via side streets and the not-so-large swimming pool. Everything else, especially the immediate view that could be seen, was really beautiful and more than made up for the poor start. Service, facilities, and ambiance did make for a lovely holiday, and it wasn't really far to the historic city center.

Negative experience: A very beautiful beach but unfortunately no security. Our backpack was stolen where the keys to our car were. Even though we rented the blue chairs for €20, we were victims of theft. Be very careful with your bags and anything valuable.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, everything you need is there. Clear water, fine sand, two bars or restaurants. We took a taxi from the cruise terminal for about 10 euros. However, the place is not worth it at all.

Fantastic experience: A very nice beach, but one has to be lucky to find a spot. To get to this beach, you have to walk down a staircase which isn't so easy to find. The water at this beach is very clean and clear. You just have to be careful with the waves, as there are some stones at the beginning. Here, you can easily get hurt, but with a bit of skill, nothing should happen. The beach is managed by a small cocktail bar. However, I can't say anything about it since we didn't use it. We would visit this beach again at any time.

Positive experience: It is very complicated to find a spot on this beach, three-quarters of the beach are occupied by sunbathers. Therefore, you will have to place yourself between the sun loungers and the sea, which leaves a quite restricted space.
