Fantastic experience: I have been here many times and love the area. Far enough away from Ballermann, close to the airport and the city, Can Pastilla is the perfect place for short trips. Here you can relax without rude tourists.
Positive experience: The beach depends on which part you went to; the water was clear in one area, while in another it smelled bad like manure and the water was dirty with dirt or mud. It was impossible to park nearby. Many shops.

Fantastic experience: Great, long sandy beach, now in winter also very empty with a promenade along the beach.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach at the other end of the promenade of L'Arenal. There is a marina and many (upscale) restaurants. Also fish spa and foot massage at a very good price.
Positive experience: The sand in some places is only beautiful and of high quality. Beach chairs are too expensive

Positive experience: Nice beach. There's a long walkway along the beach, for strolling or cycling. Plenty of restaurants and bars along the way.
Positive experience: I did an extreme day trip and went here as this was the closest to the airport. I was really surprised how lovely it was and considering doing a week there. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. The beach was lovely; I sat until 4 am listening to the waves, so peaceful (also waiting for my flight home).

Positive experience: The beach depends on which part you went to; the water was clear in one area, while in another it smelled bad like manure and the water was dirty with dirt or mud. It was impossible to park nearby. Many shops.
Positive experience: Very spacious beach. There are plenty of options to rent a sunbed or umbrella for 6€/day each, as well as enough free space for personal belongings. Overall, the beach is clean. The water is very shallow; you have to walk a long way to get completely wet. Occasionally, the airplanes can be heard very loudly when they take off. Unfortunately, there was a foul smell several times per hour. Luckily, it was always over quickly, but still unpleasant.

Positive experience: Playa muy bonita y grande. Naturaleza realmente cruda. Y la diferencia entre ésta y la playa del Arenal es que no tienes la diversión de Geordie Shore ni la gente que intenta venderte cosas cada 2 minutos.

Fantastic experience: We spent 10 days on the island, during which we saw several faces of the sea. There were days when the water was murky, and there were days when it was clear, but all were beautiful. The beach is organized and clean. There are rentable umbrellas and sunbeds, which cost 18 euros for two people for a day. The beaches are not too crowded, and it was reassuring for us that we did not experience any thefts. What we missed was that the shores could be cleaned, and then there wouldn't be so much debris in the sea. We loved every minute spent in the sea. I confidently recommend anyone staying in Can Pastilla to take a dip here in the sea every day.

Prices for 2019 Umbrella - 6€, Sunbed 6€ Beach is clean, sea is usually clear, warm and clean if there is no big waves.
