Fantastic experience: Nice beach. Able to park fairly close by and was free (presumably because it’s slightly before height of season). The water was so clean and lovely.
Fantastic experience: Lovely tranquil beach, not too crowded when we were there. Ample, reasonably priced parking

Positive experience: Quite a large beach with coarse sand. There are two beer stalls available. A bouncy castle in the water costs 15 euros per hour. A day ticket is 35 euros. The water gets quite deep quickly. Not recommended for younger children. The parking situation in the area is difficult. 3 hours cost 6 euros if you manage to find a parking spot. Overall, it’s okay, there are definitely nicer beaches and coves in the area.
Negative experience: Not very accessible, if you don't arrive at the right place, there are barbed wires.

Fantastic experience: A great beach, dogs are prohibited, yet their owners disregard this. I urge for more enforcement by the authorities.
Fantastic experience: No dogs, bravo! You won't be jumped on by dogs here, no dog poop! To all dog owners, I can only say, 99% of the beaches are full of dogs, so don't complain. Finally, a beach for humans!

Fantastic experience: Magical place! A very beautiful large fine sandy beach is open to the Mediterranean. You will arrive there by crossing a pine forest of umbrella pines and very beautiful dunes.

Positive experience: Es una playa ancha, con servicios. Una mar tranquila con visitas amplias, al noreste las medas. Si vas al norte tienes la zona natural protegida, con menos gente y espacios para naturistas que disfrutan del poco ruido y la libertad de estar despojados de sus bañadores, a un paso de la radio mítica Liberty, que transmitía durante la guerra fría a escondidas de la URSS. Si te diriges al sur, entrarás a la preciosa cala illa roja. Ya puse una reseña sobre esta. Lo mejor de Platja de Pals, es que está ubicada en un sitio privilegiado, cerca de ciudades medievales maravillosamente bien conservadas, cuidadas y con historia, como Pals, Begur y Peratallada, además de los restos de Ullastrell, zonas protegidas, campings de buen nivel, campos de golf, restaurantes.... En fin la joya del baix Empordà, sin hotels ni calles comerciales atorrantes.
Fantastic experience: Playa muy amplia con espacio para poder jugar a palas, volley, fútbol o cualquier actividad veraniega. Además está rodeado de unas dunas que son un espacio protegido y que separa los edificios de la playa. En verano tiene chiringuitos varios para comer o tomar algo

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in northern Catalonia. With a kilometer-long stretch, there are bars and restaurants at both ends, and in the central part, there is a vast nudist area, unfortunately increasingly invaded by disrespectful textiles. The water is clean, but as you move north, it becomes dirtier due to the effect of the Gola del Ter, the mouth of this river. The Medes Islands can be seen from afar and it is a good spot for spearfishing, precisely because of the proximity to this marine sanctuary. At the southern end, there is the Isla Roja, a nudist cove also very invaded by people in swimsuits.

Negative experience: deja mucho que desear,muy descuidada aunque tenia socorrista pero el acceso no es muy correcto y menos si tienes una minusvalía.
Fantastic experience: Mi playa de todos los veranos de infancia, juventud y madurez, han sido muchos años y ha habido sutiles cambios que han evolucionado en la mejora de esta playa que ya de por sí suele gozar de gran calidad del agua, muy cambiante de un día en calma a grandes olas rizadas al siguiente, el área de arena (grano grande) es muy amplia, a lo largo de toda la extensión de playa hay duchas y baños públicos, tramos de tarimas de madera para mejorar la mobilidad de personas con alguna dificultad física motriz, las vistas al horizonte y a las Illes Medes (Estartit), playa delimitada por boyas la zona bañistas de la de las embarcaciones, suele haber servicios de ocio como chiringuito (helados, bebidas, bocadillos), alquiler motos de agua, canoas, paseos de lanchas arrastra inchables, patines acuáticos a pedales, se puede aparcar por toda la zona de la urbanización de la playa, en zona azul de pago fijo desde hace ya unos años, en agosto es dificultoso encontrar espacio para el coche, mejor usar la moto, en las inmediaciones hay tiendecitas de producto de verano, cafeterías, colmado, bares y restaurantes, muchos de los apartamentos de toda la franja de 1a línea se alquilan, algunos son de propiedad. En verano hay servicio de Creu Roja para socorrista y atenciones sanitarias de poca importancia insitu o derivaciones rápidas a hospital si se requiere.Se puede ir de Begur de la cala Illa roja (zona nudista) a otra zona nudista (a la altura de playa donde habían estado las famosas antenas de Radio Liberty) hasta l'Estartit, a pie, y cruzando la desembocadura del Ter y parte de los conocidos aiguamolls de l'empordà, con sus conreos de arroz.

Fantastic experience: Collunuda per fer windsurf
Fantastic experience: Playa perfecta para hacer windsurf por su viento, con oleaje importante hay que ir con cuidado si vas con niños. Es bastante espaciosa y con zona de parking de pago. Bonito camino hasta illa roja si vas con el calzado adecuado para subir rocas sin resbalar. Grandes veranos y recuerdos allí! Lo mejor, salir por Begur por la noche o navegar de dia por sus increibles calas.

Fantastic experience: Très belle plage à l’eau translucide. Même en aout et arrivant tôt vous pourrez bénéficier d’un très bon emplacement. Il y a des activités diverses sur place qui pourront ravir tous les adeptes de sensations. Je tiens à souligner une qualité de sable qui ne colle pas la serviette.
Fantastic experience: Una GRAN playa de la Costa Brava donde podrás descansar, desconectar y disfrutar de un buen día de playa. En caso de que quieras hacer algun deporte acuático podras praticarlo en su zona adecuada. Y si quieres divertirte con tus amigos jugando a Boleibol también podras jugar libre mente respectando a los bañistas.

Fantastic experience: The place is fantastic and seems to be underestimated. I mean people could visit it not only in summer. Not for swimming, of course, but for breathing in fresh sea air, listening to the sound of waves and enjoying surroundings.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and nice beach for you to relax and enjoy the warm sun. The beach has a nudist area and a dogfriendly zone. The sea is dep but you can find areas with more sand which you can walk some meters with the water reaching only your legs
Positive experience: Overal fine beach, however the sand is a little rough. See starts to get deep after 2 meters so not the best place to swim with your kids. Parking spots are not free and you have to pay around €6 for 300 minutes. There are limited rental beds available.

Positive experience: My wife was very happy and I was happy too. The pat atlas bravas came with a delicious pink mayonnaise- which my wife said came out of a bottle. The boy waiter reported that the tourists had gone but in every direction I saw tourists, not packed like penguins but numerous nevertheless. The children seemed happy and the mood was one of conviviality and general relaxation with Spanish and Catalan the dominant languages to evidence the fact that this is a beach loved by locals. I would come again and am happy to recommend this Beach to anyone.
