Fantastic experience: Beautiful bay in the Cabo de Gata national park. Well worth a visit.
Positive experience: This may seem harsh but in terms of the 'beach' itself, I am going 3 stars. The location itself is gorgeous, there are some super restaurants and other facilities. But the beach is not great. Rocky, quite small and a big sign that says 'no bathing' in Spanish. There are numerous sandy beaches with 5-10 mins drive so for sunbathing, paddling or a game of volleyball etc I would be aiming for one of them. For a nice lunch, this is a great spot.
Fantastic experience: Pequeño pueblo pesquero con mucho encanto, desde allí hay empresas que ofrecen paseos en Zodiac a calas que solo pueden accederse por mar.
Fantastic experience: Las Negras, es un pequeño municipio que pertenece a Nijar y está dentro del Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata. Su población es de 300 habitantes ( aprox. ), la mitad de ellos son extranjeros que han encontrado la tranquilidad y buen clima que les proporciona el lugar. Municipio que vive de la pesca y del creciente turismo de la zona. Su playa no es de las más espectaculares, pero el entorno es impresionante y que vale la pena visitar. Además, de ahí es donde parte un camino de tierra que te llevará a una zona donde podrás dejar tu vehículo. ( 2 km. Aproximadamente) y posteriormente caminar por un sendero de otros 2 km. Que te llevará a una de las Calas más maravillosas que podrás ver en Cabo de Gata. Se trata la Cala de San Pedro ( donde aún existe una comunidad hippie) y podrás admirar una fortificación medio derruida y un agua limpia y transparente, que te invitará a relajarte y darte un chapuzon. No te la pierdas!! Vale la pena la excursión.
Positive experience: Playa para ir con escarpines, agua transparente pero con olor a gasoil por la cantidad de barcos turísticos que hay. El pueblo está muy animado con música y restaurantes y es bonito. Cuesta aparcar

Positive experience: Beach of this beautiful village. It has nice views of the coastline and firm dark sand with stones. Various leisure activities can be done or you can eat in its variety of restaurants. There were several dogs enjoying the sand with their owners, including our lovely little dog.
Fantastic experience: Beach where you can go with your dog. It is very nice but it is not fine sand, which may bother some people. Dog admission: The beach is not supervised, so it is possible to come with your dog. Very spacious, so no one bothers anyone. The only thing is, of course, to respect others and not to forget small bags just in case. Very clean beach and trash bins at the exit.

Positive experience: It is not the prettiest village in Cabo de Gata, nor does it have the best beach (it is rocky), but it is a strategic place that has charm, is tranquil, the food is good, and the people are fantastic. It is a meeting point for boat trips and visiting the wonderful rugged coasts of Cabo de Gata and its beautiful coves. Kayaking from there is also highly recommended to take a stroll on the sea and discover the nooks presented by the beautiful coastline.

Fantastic experience: Playa muy bonita, algo escondida pero de ahí su encanto. Es de rocas totalmente por lo que recomiendo llevar escarpines o calzado acuático. Suele estar bastante tranquila. Es de las playas con el agua más transparente, ideal para hacer snorkel.

Fantastic experience: Espectacular para perderse, hacer rutas, buceo, senderismo,etc.
Fantastic experience: Una playa tranquila y familiar, su arena fina es una gozada. Su nombre viene del monte del cerro negro que ha llenado la orilla de piedras negras por la erosión. Hay actividades de buceo y desde allí se puede coger un barco hacia cala de San Pedro.

Positive experience: This is a place with a great view of the sea and quite good food. The service was good, although you can tell they are just starting out due to the lack of control they sometimes have. All the waiters were very friendly. The croquettes were very good, the tacos were okay, but we didn't like them as much. A bit pricey, although it's well located.

Fantastic experience: Las Negras beach is located in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park in the province of Almeria, Spain. Dry and arid climate for those who love real warmth and the sea air. For the end of October, 27 degrees is more pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Nice village and spectacular coastline. I love those kinds of beaches, semi-wild and without monstrous buildings. It is stunning to see the white village appearing as you descend from the mountain pass. We were there in September and couldn't swim due to a red flag, so I have to come back. Also to do some of the hiking and boating routes. It is a good place to enjoy and disconnect. Restrooms: Fixed shed, upon entering the beach area, with running water and quite clean.

Positive experience: Situated right by the beach so lovely ocean views. Coffee cups were a bit on the small side for my liking but then the coffee was strong.
