Fantastic experience: I prefer it outside the summer season. Perfect for walking, sitting, and being calm. If you have a dog, it’s a perfect place for them to enjoy the beach and the paths or meadows to run, always being careful with the road. If you want to see the sea and enjoy the views of the Cantabrian Sea, it is a totally recommended place. It consists of two beaches, La Llada and El Puerto; with high tide, you can’t pass from one to the other, but with low tide, you have the opportunity to walk from one to the other and enjoy a peaceful stroll. Both are safe for swimming, they usually have low waves, although El Puerto is, if possible, even safer for bathing. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: The little they have renovated is great, the picnic tables are wonderful, even though we lose a bit of parking!

Positive experience: Vistas magníficas de la costa castrillonense,a pie de playa,con mesas,miradores y fuente. En época veraniega también hay chiringuito.Posee zona de aparcamiento y transporte público a pocos metros.

Positive experience: Muy interesante ya que aunque en la playa no admiten mascotas en el río ayacente si pueden estar las mascotas ...una playa bonita y un camping moderno
Positive experience: Un bonito lugar. Lo visitamos a primeros de mayo y dado que la climatología no era la mejor, no había gente. Me pareció idílica la zona con su verde, playa, mar, muy buenos sitios para comer en las cercanías, etc

Fantastic experience: Es un lugar muy bonito. Su paseo de piedra te lleva a un mirador elevado, donde puedes disfrutar del Mar Cantábrico. Hay varios restaurantes y cafeterías donde puedes disfrutar de una comida o un refresco. Además tienes varias playas próximas, ademas de la Santa María del Mar. Merece la pena visitarla.

Fantastic experience: It's great, I think they could set up some umbrellas and ensure that the bathrooms are cleaner, apart from that it's a really cool place.

Negative experience: "Mi hijo de 13 años se cortó con un cristal y le tuvieron que dar 4 puntos en el hospital; dos días en el apartamento y cuatro sin poderse bañar. La limpieza de la zona donde se cortó corresponde al ayuntamiento, no al quiosco. Parece ser que hacen botellones por la noche. Al día siguiente del percance, fui yo a quitar los cristales que seguían allí. Eran varios. Una botella rota al lado de la farola que se ve en a foto. Sitio maravilloso, pero tengan cuidado al sentarse en toallas o al andar con chanclas por el césped".

Fantastic experience: I prefer it outside the summer season. Perfect for walking, sitting, and being calm. If you have a dog, it’s a perfect place for them to enjoy the beach and the paths or meadows to run, always being careful with the road. If you want to see the sea and enjoy the views of the Cantabrian Sea, it is a totally recommended place. It consists of two beaches, La Llada and El Puerto; with high tide, you can’t pass from one to the other, but with low tide, you have the opportunity to walk from one to the other and enjoy a peaceful stroll. Both are safe for swimming, they usually have low waves, although El Puerto is, if possible, even safer for bathing. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The place is beautiful, it's worth it. The service at the beach bar is very poor, young people without knowledge of hospitality and little desire to serve the public.
