Fantastic experience: The water is clear and warm. Its great and a beautiful sunset too behind the beach. Easy parking

Fantastic experience: Great clean beach with shallow and warm waters, no seaweed, but be careful as I got stung by jellyfish in two different places! No city noise, which was much welcome. The beach extends for a long while and even there is aa area for nudists, but it was not where we were sat - playa del carabassi in the proximity of the beach bar is very family friendly. The drinks have the prices that you would expect (14.50 eur for a mojito and a homemade ice tea). There are toilet facilities and lifeguards.

Fantastic experience: I like the beach, but there is a lot of micro plastic here. Particles about 5 mm in size, looks like quartz but it is plastic. This place needs machine cleaning from micro plastic.

Positive experience: I don't know if it will be this rough every day, but when I went, it was impossible to stay still due to the waves... too much. If I return and it's calmer, I will change my rating.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach surrounded by nature, it's worth going at least once with bars and various facilities. To get there from Alicante by public transport, it is not well indicated at all. You need to take the bus from the Alicante central bus station that goes to Santa Pola (stop 15), but not the direct one; take the one that makes various stops and get off after Arenals del Sol, just after a overpass and before the big slope. From there it will be easy to reach it with a wooden walkway that will start after a small road on the left. Be careful as return tickets should be purchased immediately at the bus station machine because on the bus it will be possible to pay only in cash.

Negative experience: Nothing naturist at all. Just so you know!!!

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite beaches, transparent water and fine sand, very clean and not crowded at all. Without a doubt, one of the best beaches in Alicante.

Negative experience: Not quite a clean, sandy beach. Sea with waves and no possibility of swimming. Sunbeds and umbrellas for a high fee. Poor service and the staff at the bar seemed to ignore the dirt. Disappointment...

Fantastic experience: Clean, well-maintained, and guarded beach with a gentle slope. Good access and free large parking with a wooden path to the beach. About 300m to walk. Perfect place for families with small children. Showers with fresh water for rinsing and food options for full happiness ;)

Fantastic experience: I love this beach. It is clean, there is parking for the car, it has a beach bar, I recommend it.

Positive experience: Quite crowded and somewhat narrow, with restrooms and shower areas, it has two large outdoor parking areas for free from where you access the beach via some boardwalks. It consists of three different zones, zone 0 is for nudists; two beach bars, one affordable and the other one with very expensive sunbeds, the sunbeds are €25/day. The beach has fine sand and a good entry into the water.

Positive experience: Beautifully arranged beach, welcoming, clean water and easy entry into the water. The staff is a bit stiff and uncomprehending, and the toilet is open only sometimes (depending on the waiter's discretion).

Negative experience: It is unacceptable not to be able to use the bathroom dedicated to customers under the pretext that it is strict. They only open it when the employees feel like it. If you pay for a sunbed and use it to enter the bathroom, what for? To be a challenge?

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, clean and well-equipped with both umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as free spaces to lay down the towel. There are also restrooms and a bar service. Convenient parking not too far from the beach. The water is nice and clear. The only downside: there are no showers.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, there is a restaurant/bar there just off the first exit from Gran Alacant that is quite expensive, we had 2 beers cost 13 euro and came in plastic glasses and wasn't even pints.

Positive experience: 5.50 for a cappuccino in the morning? The staff was still in an 'ecstasy' state from the evening before, I guess. Music that loud, I could hardly stay, and staff rude. A young girl came after me to bring me my change but I left the place in shock after hearing the price of the coffee. Thanks to her honesty, I gave it two stars, but it isn't worth it.

Fantastic experience: Lovely Beach, Clean and well maintained. '0' is the nudist area, this gets busy at the weekends so if you don’t like people too close go during the week. Thankfully I didn’t see any letching, but as previously mentioned I do wish clothed people would stick to their own end of the beach.

Positive experience: Samstag 26.8.2023 Wir waren am Abend am Playa Carabassi und geben dem Strand 7/10 Punkten. - Anreise 25 min von der Innenstadt Alicante - Parkplätze frei und ausreichend vorhanden - Fußmarsch eben und ca 5 min - Sandstrand, sehr weitläufig - um 18:00 Uhr waren nicht mehr ganz so viele Leute da, man hatte seinen Platz - Wasser ist für einen Sandstrand wirklich sehr sauber. Es gab viele Muscheln, keine Fische und ist für Kinder sehr gut geeignet. - Bademeister und Bar vorhanden

Fantastic experience: Playa naturista de arena dorada dentro del término de Elche. Aguas cristalinas de color turquesa con infinidad de peces, pulpos y especies marinas. Ideal para practicar snorkel o submarinismo. Hay una bonita pasarela para llegar por encima de las dunas. Los días de oleaje puede ser un poco peligrosa por sus grandes olas pero a cambio regala preciosas fotos de grandes olas. El parking es gratuito y está lejos ( tal vez esto ayuda a su conservación) no hay duchas y los baños están muy distanciados entre sí siendo prácticamente nulos.

Positive experience: Una playa amplia de arena blanca y aguas tranquilas,un buen acceso para todo tipo de personas,pero muy largo para ir cargado. El chiringuito que hay la verdad bastante caro para el sitio que es,pues una caña pequeña 6.50€

Fantastic experience: Para mi es de las mejores playas de la provincia de Alicante. Las vistas son muy chulas, los accesos muy bonitos sobre las dunas y la vegetación existente, hay chiringuito, hamacas, camas balinesas... Y para quien le guste al final hay una zona nudista.

Fantastic experience: La mejor playa de España sin duda. Arena fina y clarita que casi ni quema, agua transparente, súper limpia y a una temperatura espectacular, siempre en calma y casi nunca hay viento. Soy de Málaga y creía que las mejores playas estaban en Cádiz hasta que vine a Alicante y encontré esta . Se merece con creces la bandera azul que tiene!!

Fantastic experience: De las mejores playas en las que he estado! Arena súper fina, sin piedras ni conchas que te puedas clavar en los pies. Temperatura del agua perfecta para no querer salirte nunca. Incluso pudimos disfrutar del atardecer desde dentro del agua sin pasar nada de frío. Y con todas estas ventajas es una playa muy poco saturada de gente en pleno agosto. Hoteles y residencias bastante alejadas para mantener la playa como buena reserva natural.

Fantastic experience: Magnífica playa al final de los Arenales del Sol, playa kilométrica, de arena rubia, mar tranquilo y transparente. Hay una pinada cuyos pinos son bajos. Perfecto para pasar el día en la playa con la familia y disfrutar de una siesta a la sombra debajo de los pinos.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach that is part in numbers. Part „0“ is a nudist beach. The only thing I could complain about is that people that don’t want to be nude keep looking at the people that come there to feel free. It has a sign saying nudist before u walk over the bridge.

Fantastic experience: The cleanest and nicest sandy beach I've seen around Alicante. Not even traces of seaweeds washed out, good sand quality a lot of protected wild areas that you can walk across on wooden stairs. Beach bars along the way and plenty of free parking spots on the roadside. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic experience: The location of the pin with the camera and many of the pictures and explatations, point to another beach , next to carabassi , the beach of la ermita ( La playa de la ermita ) . Carabassi has dunes , and it's much bigger . Google or the authorities have put in green , the beach of the carabassi's real emplacement already. The beach for the dogs is between the beach of the ermita and the carabassi . The pictures of the old tower are actually taken in la Torre de Pep in the varadero area of Santa Pola.

Positive experience: Quiet public beach. Shops and chiringuito near to hand.

Positive experience: We love this beach but it still has a lot of flotsam from the gota fria on the sand. Hopefully it will be cleared soon.

Positive experience: Too may people in these days of CV-19. Walking to the beach from the top of Gran Alicante is long and steep... it is very difficult to return.
