Fantastic experience: Una playa perfecta para pasear y darse unos bañitos. Se permiten perros y la gente es súper cívica. Un 10 al cuidado y limpieza de la zona.
Negative experience: Playas preciosas, caminar desde playa Arroyo de la Miel hasta Puerto Marina es maravilloso, me encanta el sector, estuve de vacaciones hace poco y me enamoré. Pero le doy sólo 2 estrellas porque me parece increíble que sus habitantes no respeten las señales de prohibido los perros, me daba mucho asco y pena al tiempo, caminar por estas hermosas playas y tener que estar mirando al suelo para no pisar la gran cantidad de excrementos que llenan la arena...hago un llamado a quien corresponda para que ponga algún control a esta situación, ni pensar en dejar jugar a mis hijos allí. Es una pena, el sitio es realmente maravilloso..
Fantastic experience: Fuimos la primera semana de mayo y la playa estaba estupenda, sin demasiada gente y lo mejor de todo es que se podía ir con mascotas, eso sí, fuimos después de las 4 pm, la playa es de arena no tan fina pero que no duele al caminar, el agua genial, súper recomendable para ir a conocerlo
Negative experience: En concreto esta playa me ha decepcionado. Tiene poco amplitud, un gran escalón al meterte al agua con una profundidad casi inmediata y lo peor la gran cantidad de piedras y rocas grandes que hay en el mar. No recomendable para niños. El año pasado estuve en otra playa de Benalmádena y nada que ver con ésta a pesar de la cercanía.

Positive experience: There's no sand for the feet, and that bad sand is unbearable. However, the water is clean, that's for sure.

Positive experience: The beach is nice, the sand is not fine and the stones and shells are a bit annoying, and the sea has seaweed. In summer, it gets crowded and you can enjoy music if you sit near the beach bars to make the atmosphere more pleasant. There are cold drinks nearby and vendors passing by on the beach. There are also motorboats and parachute sports like banana boats nearby.
Negative experience: In my opinion, this beach is not recommended, as it is not cleaned of seaweed, and it is full of sun loungers and umbrellas from hotels and beach bars that in some sections almost do not allow passage along the shore. The showers and foot rinses are out of order. It's nothing compared to hundreds of blue flag beaches.

Fantastic experience: It's a nice beach, quite deep, it has basic public services and a point for restrooms for people with reduced mobility, the lifeguards are professionals.

Fantastic experience: It was a bit dirty when I was there...after the floods in northern Spain washed lots of debris down the coast..but the local Spanish council soon got to work and cleared it all away after 3 or 4 days.
Fantastic experience: A great beach, with sheltered areas and lifeguard supervision. We were there in October and we could still swim. (Outside temperature 25°C)

Positive experience: Hay una zona en la entrada muy sucia, pero un poco más a la izda donde están los hinchables hay una zona con rocas que al hacer snorkel se pueden ver muchos peces y el agua es cristalina

Fantastic experience: Has all the mod cons i.e. parachuting with the aid of a boat, being pulled by a boat on an inflatable banana (6+ pers) etc., but even if you're just there for the sun, sea and sand you won't be disappointed. The sea is so clear! Bring your snorkel you'll see the fantastic variety of fish and sea urchins. There are multiple vendors trying to sell u their wares, and offer massages too.

Fantastic experience: It was a bit dirty when I was there...after the floods in northern Spain washed lots of debris down the coast..but the local Spanish council soon got to work and cleared it all away after 3 or 4 days.
Fantastic experience: The beach has pebbles and the water is clear. The massage that comes to your bed was divine for 20 euros. The restrooms are subpar, I recommend the restaurants on the other side of the road. 1 sunbed + 2 sun loungers for 14 euros per day.
Fantastic experience: We were on vacation and we saw the place and decided to stop for a drink, and we came across a spectacular spot, with unforgettable views. The day we went was a splendid sunny day, the service was very friendly and nice, definitely very recommendable, we will return.

Negative experience: There are water games for the children. The beach is awful - the sand is black and rocky, no space for anything. I don’t recommend this beach.
Positive experience: So, apparently the water digs into the beach every year, so at the time we went there, it was like three steps in, and you're already at about two meter deep. However, during my stay, there were workers with machines digging the sand from the beach and throwing it into the water so it's shallow (took them about two days during which certain areas of the beach were closed). There's zones with umbrellas and shade which are paid, and there is a free zone where to put your own towel. Water is clean, no rocks, no seaweed, but at this time, middle of June, it's incredibly cold.

Fantastic experience: A very long beach, with fine sand and calm waters when the weather is stable, although at this time (early March) no one swims due to the water temperature (around 15°). The promenade is very pleasant to walk along, obviously with views of the beach and the sea, and at its foot, another promenade on the beach, with an endless succession of bars and restaurants offering tempting gastronomic deals, and with prices that are generally affordable. This second promenade is sheltered from the first, and both in the sun and without it, it is a privileged spot to enjoy, among other things, a skewer of grilled sardines with a good local wine.

If you like fine gravel instead of sand, you will enjoy it. One must be aware that the bottom drops off very quickly. For two meters, it is shallow, and then there is a drop-off and no ground.
