Positive experience: A beach like many others in Spain. It doesn't stand out in any way, and supposedly it is the most beautiful beach in Malaga. But it is always a good place to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In the season, it is very crowded, so it's worth going to other nearby beaches!!! It is worth mentioning that this beach has green islands with palm trees, which definitely distinguishes it from other beaches.

Positive experience: Being La Malagueta, it didn't give us a good impression due to the dirt that, in contrast with the city, was on the beach. The tourists laying on the grass... on a beach!!! It has gotten out of hand because there were remnants of night parties, etc., etc.... For being a city beach and such a tourist attraction, I think it should set an example.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, wide and clean. There are men selling drinks and blankets, and even cafés. And you get a beautiful view for free.

Positive experience: The beach is very dirty and full of cigarette butts and other garbage, despite the presence of numerous trash bins just a few steps away.

Positive experience: One of the best beaches in Malaga and its surroundings, very crowded, so it can be dirty. We were surprised that there was no water to wash our feet or take a shower.

Positive experience: Beautiful and charming place. The only downside is the lack of showers to wash your feet or shoes after leaving the beach. Other than that, it's fantastic.

Positive experience: Just right for sunbathing and swimming for a while. A lot of garbage in the shaded areas of palm trees. Avoid eating at the beach bars if you don't want to feel like you're being robbed.

Negative experience: More cigarette butts than sand. The water is generally dirty. To top it off, glass shards to take home a nice souvenir. The blue flag does not do it justice.

Negative experience: They are free beaches but very crowded. The sea is cleaner further out. The water is deep right away.

Positive experience: Sandy beach that is already covered as soon as you enter. I would rate it better if it weren't for the number of people constantly offering their services, bothering us every 3 minutes: They offer massages, sarongs, mojitos, soft drinks...

Positive experience: Very normal beach, typical of a city. Very crowded. They sell you everything from mojitos to massages. Water a little dirty. Sand with small stones. Blue zone for parking.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. Full of places to eat, clothing shops, and games for kids.

Positive experience: This is the typical beach where tourists, locals from Malaga, but especially the Latinos who live here go. It is close to the Port and the Pompidou Center. I found it quite dirty and very crowded. Several of them were smoking marijuana and listening to music at full blast, which is not pleasant at all.

Positive experience: Beach was very busy with sunbathers and swimmers but still clean. Sand isn't the best to walk on. Straw umbrellas are available for hire. There are palm trees scattered around with Parakeets flying and chirping. Great views out to sea and of the Promenade. The main road is not far away and has plenty of shops and restaurants. The toilet and changing facilities aren’t very good at all. There should be more available considering how busy the beach is.

Fantastic experience: It became my favorite beach in Spain, and it's not as unsafe as Barcelona.

Negative experience: Showers! At this very nice city beach, unfortunately, all the showers are turned off or broken. The beach is wonderfully accessible from the city but sadly has little natural shade. However, it is still beautiful. I don't understand why the city of Malaga or the people responsible for the beach or the operators of the many sun umbrella and sunbed rentals do not ensure that the showers are also working. Everyone, whether families or singles, wants to enjoy a shower after their time at the sea to rinse off the sand. The rest seems to be in line with what the other reviews state.

Negative experience: Terrible services, we paid for a sunbed and umbrella and then they told us that the shower didn't work anywhere and that for the restrooms we had to walk quite a distance. The cost is not excessive but it has some shortcomings.

Positive experience: The beach is in the city so it's easily accessible, but there are a lot of people of course (we were there in mid-August) and the water is very dirty. There are pieces of plastic and plenty of other things. It looks like the water is greasy. We haven't gone back.

Positive experience: Historical beach of Malaga very touristy. The beach bars are very good for eating, but it can't be that there is no water in the showers to wash off the saltwater and sand. Don't go by car; it's very difficult to park.

Positive experience: beautiful beach and to be expected busy. lots of beds, umbrellas at reasonable daily rate. On the outskirts of the city so plenty of places to eat and drink.

Positive experience: For me, the beach is very crowded, very noisy, you can't find umbrellas to rent if you don't arrive early, in the peak summer I do not recommend going before 4 PM because the sand burns in 1 second, the good thing is the temperature of the water.

Negative experience: This is the second year that I spend my vacation here and this year the water was extremely dirty and the beach as well. I can't understand how a beach with the sea in those conditions has a blue flag! I really like this area of Spain, but unfortunately this year was a big disappointment!

Positive experience: Beautiful warm clear water. Not like our local Irish beaches. As water goes quite deep quickly to my chest. And I didn't go much further. Use an empty water bottle and fill it with sea water to wash your feet, as wash service is shut off to save water.

Positive experience: Unfortunately, I must say that the state of the sea is not the best because the sea is not clean and also the beaches and nearby areas, too much plastic waste and so on.

Positive experience: The first part (the one with the sign) is not the best. The sand is quite dirty and the sea is often rough. A little further ahead, after the games, there is a much nicer cove. It’s worth taking a few more steps. I went in August and I had the impression that the establishments are not 'transparent'. Despite there being free umbrellas and numerous stacked sunbeds, they always said they were FULL. They probably keep them for people who eat there or those who book for more than one day. There are 'guys' who walk by with cocktails at 5 euros (sangria and mojito). Nice idea, it’s a shame that the liquids in the glass are terrible and have nothing to do with cocktails, but at least they are fresh. Nearby there are restaurants and a very convenient Carrefour especially for drinks or fresh fruit. PS: you can get there from the center with a walk of about half an hour or by passing through a nice garden or an avenue.

Fantastic experience: Beach with a large surface area; the entrance is rocky, considerable rocks, which makes it much more comfortable with water shoes. It includes a children's area on the sand with a zip line in one of its zones.

Positive experience: Very beautiful beach, a 10-minute walk from the center of Málaga. It gets very crowded.

Negative experience: A lot of dirt on the sand and on the beach itself... people don't take care and no one cleans up. Broken bottle remnants, cigarette butts... it's a horror how ruined it is. The water is crystal clear but full of dirt... it's nonsensical.

Negative experience: What a beach trash, it's very dirty, it's fake. As soon as I left the towel, it filled with dust. Don't come, thanks, Paco de la Torre works more.

Positive experience: Lots of people, little beach, but it is a symbol of the city and we can't stop visiting it. Very hot, but the bright day fills you with energy.

Fantastic experience: A must-visit in Malaga! The beach is quite clean due to its location, with beach bars offering good espetos and other fish and seafood, and the people are lovely. BEWARE, because there is the occasional thief and you need to keep an eye on your personal belongings. We witnessed a person trying to grab a bag, but thanks to a good couple and a couple of shouts, they were able to scare him off and he didn't come back. But you need to stay alert.

Positive experience: To be honest, I was expecting something different. The water was quite dirty, there were even a couple of plastic cups, along with other debris and some thin greenish foam stains. The water temperature was great, but the sand temperature.... unbelievable!!! In just 4 meters from the towel to the water, I burned the soles of my feet. That had never happened to me at any beach, no matter how hot it was. The sand is very staining and super sticky. Other than that, at every step, there is a beach bar to eat and refresh yourself. The showers and foot washers are closed due to drought.

Positive experience: It's a calm beach full of neighbors and people who know each other, waiting and saving spots. I don't know who or why they filled it with stones and dirt. Did they want to ruin it? They didn't succeed... There are no shower and water services, it’s a shame due to the drought.

Positive experience: Nice beach.. So close to the road.. There are a couple of toilets but they were really dirty. The beach itself is clean but a bit crowded. Would definitely recommend a visit if you need some chill time in Málaga.

Negative experience: The beach is 2 steps from the center of Malaga, but it’s not very clean and there are no functional showers.

Positive experience: We arrived here early in the morning, where there was almost nobody. Was hard to find a clean space on the shore to sit. The water was sufficiently clear, even if it's next to the port of Malaga. Providing more care, it can be a 5 stars place.

Positive experience: Beach a bit crowded during this August period. Unfortunately, cigarette butts and other small junk in the sand. Otherwise, several small beach bars are spread along the beach to refresh and enjoy local dishes.

Positive experience: Very large beach and right in the city center. It can be reached by crossing the promenade of the port where there are all the local shops. There are free spaces where you can settle down without problems. For the heat, I recommend bringing an umbrella or renting one on-site, because after 1 hour you can’t stand it anymore. The sea is not exceptional and the water is colder than what we are used to in Italy.

Positive experience: For a beach in the heart of the city, it is clean and spacious on most days especially weekday mornings. Avoid weekend afternoons, it tends to get overcrowded with tourists, and water quality becomes questionable.

Positive experience: Very long, wide, sandy beach. Basically in the city. The sand is grayish, and on hot days, you need to wear flip-flops because the sand is so hot that it burns your feet. There are showers, but when we were there, they weren't working.

Positive experience: Beautiful sand but the sea is cold. When we were there, at around 4 PM, the beach was very dirty (plastic and other debris thrown among the towels). The civility of everyone certainly needs to improve.

Positive experience: Dark sandy beach with shells and pebbles on the tide line. The beach beds are fine, including a parasol and a safe for €18.

Negative experience: What a disappointment of a beach. Very dirty sand with cigarette butts, empty cans, and full of stones by the sea. The foot showers simply do not work. I do not recommend this beach to anyone.

Positive experience: I recommend water shoes. The shore is made of small pebbles. The sand is very dirty and super hot. The beach is wide. The water is not very clean. Sunbeds with a parasol cost 18 Euro. Drinks are served for 5 Euro, sometimes they go down to 4. There is no water coming from the showers, not even to rinse your feet. There is a toilet, but the light didn't work.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular central beach in Malaga with services, crystal clear water, and clean sand. Highly recommended for spending time with family or friends.

Positive experience: Early in the morning until 12 o'clock there are fewer people, the only thing is that there are a lot of butts... smoking should be banned on all beaches or at least have designated areas with trash bins to avoid this kind of inconvenience.

Negative experience: 3 h de route pour voir une plage avec encore des cailloux pas propre du tout Canet mégot déchets etc , sans sable fin, de plus surbonder de monde avec bien entendu du manque de civisme ( stéréo avec du Nike ta mère) a fond alors que j'ai des enfants .... Aucune sécurité. !! rien a voir avec celle de valence plage sublime avec une sécurité incroyable a cheval en quad a vélo on s'y sent bien en plus très propre et a proximité de l'océanographie l'eau et chaude et merveilleuse brefffff ... Positive experience: Grande plage près du centre ville. Eau froide, quelques déchets dans l'eau. Sable gris mais assez fin. Pas de quoi se rincer, il y a des douches mais pas d'eau. Sinon c'est sympa

Positive experience: Plage sale et beaucoup de monde. Difficile de poser sa serviette sans être sur celle du voisin. Le sable est plutôt de la poussière et de la terre. Petit cailloux dans l’eau prévoir des chaussures.

Positive experience: Der Strand hat kleine Steine die kaum wehtun , das Wasser ist dadurch klarer als an anderen Stränden in Málaga. Super ist die Lage zu billigeren Restaurants und anderen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles ok Sauber ist es auch .

Positive experience: Ogólnie bardzo fajne miejsce. Super knajpki z pysznym hedzenuem. Leżaki i parasole w rozsądnej cenie. Plaża w miarę czysta, woda w morzu orzeźwiająca. Ale ogromny minus dla władz miasta! Jest lipiec czyli szczyt sezonu, a prysznice nie działają! No jakiś absurd totalny! Wychodzisz z morza i leżysz cały od soli. Byliśmy kilka dni i nikt tego bie naprawił. W Polsce byłoby to nie do pomyślenia. Usterka choćby nie wiem jak duża, zostałaby usunięta natychmiast. Toalety też nie wszystkie sprawne.. także sama plaża na 5* ale organizacja na 1*, zatem ogólnie 3*. Takie rzeczy nie powinny mieć miejsca w cywilizowanym kraju!

Fantastic experience: Хороший пляж, красивый, но грязный. Не убирают там? И песок там асфальтового цвета и пыльный. Если брать шезлонг, то думаю лучше будет.

Positive experience: Bella spiaggia e a luglio ancora vivibile. I lettini erano già tutti presi alle 10, ma acquistando un ombrellone a 10 euro al supermercato siamo riusciti a goderci la spiaggia. L'acqua è pulita, ma molto fredda.

Positive experience: Het strand zelf is erg goed, iets steviger zand maar nog steeds fijn on op te liggen. Veel verkopers maar die zijn niet zo vervelend, veel goeie strandtentjes. De zee ligt wel vol met schelpen en kleine steentjes, dat is wat minder.

Fantastic experience: Väldigt fint strand med olika aktiviteter och härlig varm upplevelse. Stranden brukar brinna av värmen under dagen bättre att hitta plats bredvid träden för att få lite skydd och härlig luft i värmen. Bra att ta med sig mat och drycka annars omkring platsen finns stora möjligheter till både mat och dryck.

Positive experience: Bella. Sia spiaggia libera, tanta, che le parti attrezzate. In queste ultime affittano sdraio e ombrellone a 9 o 10 euro, che affittano fino a 2 persone. Ossia, se vai da solo, puoi trovarti un'altra persona a cui viene affittato lo stesso ombrellone con un lettino. Passano tantissimi venditori di bibite (l'urlo più ricorrente e' "mojito....sangria"....) e qualche massaggiatrice cinese. A ridosso delle spiagge, tantissimi locali...bar...ristoranti...alimentari. Mare non eccelso ma nemmeno troppo negativo. Acqua tendenzialmente sul freddo. Consiglio affitto di ombrellone per non stare troppo accalcati nella parte libera.

Fantastic experience: Mare sole tanta gente.... ma nn e ricvione e malaga e la malagueta. Spiaggia di Sassetti e sassi non pulitissima ma vivibile. Se venite portatevi un ombrellone ma per mangiare e bere bi consiglio il negozio cinese al di là della strada. Fornitissimo ed economico.

Positive experience: Spiaggia molto grande e ben fornita. L'ho però trovata sporca e piena di rifiuti nella sabbia, tra le cicche di sigaretta e bottiglie. Il mare è molto fredda e mare tutto sommato bello. Particolare la presenza di pappagallini

Positive experience: Playa veramente bella. Da evitare solo la zona vicino la scritta " Malagueta". Consiglio di farla tutta a piedi e di fermarsi vicino alla sbarramento fatto con le rocce. Li sembra di stare in una piscina naturale.

Positive experience: Playa limpia, lo pasé bien. El único inconveniente es que las mujeres toman el sol sin sujetador y los niños lo miran todo. Propongo multarte por esto.

Negative experience: Una playa muy bonita pero da lástima la cantidad de suciedad que te encuentras ! No sé cómo dejan fumar y luego la arena es una montaña de golillas de cigarrillos! Huele mal

Positive experience: Me pareció que era una playa muy cercana a la ciudad y al casco antiguo lo que hace que se llene mucho, es algo estrecha en relación a las otras. Personalmente prefiero moverme e ir a una con menos gente, pero estaba muy bonita y cuidada

Negative experience: Super sucia el agua y la playa con tiritas, escupitajos, una capa de aceite y plasticos más lo que el ojo no puede detectar). Al salir de la playa nuestros pies y manos estaban cubiertos con una capa de mugre. Me entristece mucho ver la situación ecológica en la que estamos y como así la gente sigue deja do colillas, con has de pipas y plásticos en la arena.

Fantastic experience: Es una de las playas más emblemáticas de Málaga, con todo tipo de servicios próximos a ella.
