Negative experience: In the nudist area, the sand is very dirty and there are many stones on the shore, and you hurt your feet when walking. After the beach bar, the area is very neglected.

Negative experience: Very beautiful beach, well maintained, with all the necessary services. Unfortunately, our car was vandalized in the outdoor public parking lot and we lost all our belongings while we were returning from our vacation. It's a shame to have such a beautiful beach, but not to secure the parking.

Fantastic experience: On Sunday, during my visit, the beach was moderately crowded. Access to the water was free. The waves were very active and kept trying to carry me into the ocean's infinity. I had a great weekend, sunbathing under the gentle sun on this beautiful sand. A nice finish was the beach shower with a well-adjusted aerator and strong water pressure. I will try to come here again.

Positive experience: This year the beach is worse because the summer storms have taken away the sand, and the town hall or the Generalitat has forgotten to repair it. Result? Less flat beach and more slope. The good news is that the showers are working, meaning we have water to wash off the sand and salt and also to drink! Besides that, the promenade is just as pleasant as it used to be. It is hot, hot to spare, but that's because it's summer, right?

Fantastic experience: Beach in Mataró near Barcelona, clean and quiet, has parking spaces and showers for bathing, some beach cafes, and is close to a bus, train, and metro station.

Positive experience: Small area, you can hardly walk from side to side. Additionally, there are jellyfish, although they are not the dangerous ones, they do sting. Overall, it's good.

Fantastic experience: My city, my beach. Cambados and Can Margarit. Amazing rice dishes. Not all news is good. The recent storms have diminished the beaches. The new thing is the naturist beach of Sant Simon.

Fantastic experience: The boardwalk is great. There are bathrooms, there are beach bars and restaurants both in winter and summer. You can take walks and run with very good views as the landscape mixes sea and a wooded area with pine trees, bushes, and palm trees. Another thing is the beach. The beaches in Mataró are clean in summer and very dirty in winter. In summer the water is very clear, you can usually see the bottom. There are all kinds of services on the boardwalk, the beaches are well maintained and there are beach bars every 500 meters. In winter it's different, the beaches should also be cleaned during this time of year because there are many people who enjoy the sun on the beach all year round, and in autumn, winter, and spring, they are not as incredible as in summer. Mataró has very good beaches, a nice port, a wonderful boardwalk, and a multicultural and peaceful atmosphere.

The water, crystal clear and pleasantly warm in July, is typically calm under the green flag. A variety of food stalls are conveniently located nearby, and the town center is just a short distance away. Ample parking is available, and the beach is easily accessible via public transportation.

Fantastic experience: Magnificent and beautiful place in Maresme. It invites to spend leisure time enjoying the blue landscape, the breeze, and the movement of the coming and going of the waves. At the same time, the beach is surrounded by dining facilities with varied offerings for different tastes and demands that many enjoy and can savor.

Fantastic experience: An ideal place to spend the day at the beach and if you want, also for lunch. There are restaurants but you can also find picnic tables and shade. Mataró has it all!

Fantastic experience: The whole area is very pleasant and the beach is beautiful and very well located and communicated, as it has a train station very nearby and parking space. The promenade area is great: wide and with trees, it invites us to walk before or after eating in one of the beach bars that serve delicious food. It is a well-known area frequented by the citizens of Mataró, so on weekends it's better to reserve if you plan to eat and go early to find parking if you are going to the beach. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: I was surprised by the erosion it had. More than 20 meters of beach was lost compared to last summer. And the access tunnel and surrounding areas on both sides could be cleaned up a bit, it lacks a lot of maintenance and cleanliness, like many other places in Mataró.

Fantastic experience: Callao beach is a very pleasant place to walk. Being by the sea and having good restaurants nearby makes it a place worth visiting. Although it is true that there are many areas to park the vehicle, it is really costly to find one. Nevertheless, it is worth taking a stroll around the Mataró area, it does not disappoint. We will definitely come back!

Positive experience: What I like most about this beach are the picnic tables in front of the sea to celebrate birthdays and everything. The only downside could be to put more tables since I always have to rush and ask if there is any available. There are times I have to wait for a table to free up; with all the space they have there, they could add more variety of picnic tables. The beach is beautiful in general, only that due to the drought, they have cut off the water from the showers used before entering the water.

Positive experience: Platja del Callao is a cozy beach with parking nearby. This beach is not child-friendly as it gets deep quickly and you can expect big waves. It is not possible to rinse yourself with fresh water, as the fresh water has been turned off on the entire beach area. There are places to eat in the area and the beach is within walking distance to town.
