Positive experience: Stone beach, inside the water sand. You don't take sand home. Lifeguards and showers are very well attended. Very good night views and wheelchair access.
Fantastic experience: Yesterday when I was there, they were having a festival. There were countless people, mostly due to the festival, but even without it, the weekends are very crowded, to the point that it even becomes complicated to find parking. The avenue that runs parallel to the beach is a very long straight road, with holiday homes on one side and the beach along with its beach bars or picnic areas on the other side, with the delicious smell of grilled sardines or roasted meats. I haven't looked for data, but given the atmosphere, it's safe to say that Moncofar's population at least triples in the summer. It's a very pleasant place. I add now, summer 2024, that it remains just as pleasant or even more.
Positive experience: A beach that is different because it has pebbles which, when moved by the waves, create a special sound that I like. Out of season, it is a very quiet place, well-equipped and with a long promenade.
Fantastic experience: Recommended, it has a high qualification in terms of flags (blue), its waters are quite clean. It has a dog-friendly beach with showers and lifeguards. On the downside, its sandy beaches do not cost anything, but it is not missed either. The beach promenade has several beach bars or restaurants. It has easy access for tourists and is highly recommended to visit this place.
Negative experience: Het strand bestaat uit ruw zand en keien, maar er is niets toegestaan dat het dan wel aantrekkelijk zou maken. Honden zijn verboden, paarden verboden, vissen verboden... gelukkig mogen er mensen op.. en in de parken van dit dorpje mogen kinderen niet met de bal spelen... deze burgemeester denkt dat dit saint-tropez is.

Positive experience: È una playa per rilassarsi la spiaggia e in ciottoli, L acqua molto Bella forse perché non c’è sabbia. La zona è tranquilla ideale per famiglie. No cani no passerella per disabili. No ombrelloni
Negative experience: Der "HUNDESTRAND" ist ca 200 m breit, nur dicke (Schmerzen verursachende) Kieselsteine mit wenig Sand dazwischen, recht steil abfallenden Ufer, sehr STARKE Brandung!!! Wir haben 2 "3-kg-Yorkshire", die das Wasser lieben, aber der "Strand" ist nur PFUI!!!! Wenn man in's Wasser geht, dann fühlt es sich an, als man man im Betonmischer taucht, so starkt werden einem die Kieselsteine AUF die Füße gespült!!! Garantiert meib erster und letzter Besuch!!!! Bitte an alle Offiziellen in der Region "VALENCIA": richtet mehr und auch angenehmere Hundestrände ein!!!!

Fantastic experience: Moncofar tiene playas para todo los gustos. Para nuestras mascotas tb con la playa Can y tb para naturista. Acordaos de dejarla como la habéis encontrado o más. Es decir no tireis las botellas ni papeles para eso hay papeleras. Merci y disfrutar!!

Negative experience: Many stones are not beautiful beaches
Positive experience: If you don't want excessive crowds, Moncofar beach is spacious enough, and you won't have a problem setting up your umbrella or placing your towel with plenty of distance between other people. However, remember that it has pebbles, and when you enter, there is sand.

Negative experience: Playas de piedra con la ventajas de que no se te queda pegada la arena y los inconvenientes de que tumbarte con la toalla es más un traumatismo para el cuerpo que un descanso. Problemas, que las corrientes son fuertes y encima con tres metros ya te cubre por lo tanto no es lo mejor para los niños Por cierto las boyas de seguridad la gente se las pasa por el l forro

Fantastic experience: Playa de piedras excepcionalmente cuidada y provista de todos los servicios: Duchas, lavabos, socorristas, etc.. Sus aguas están limpias y sus playas divididas en calas no suelen estar muy llenas. Ideal para relajarse y pasar unas vacaciones en familia.

Positive experience: Situada en la localidad de Moncofa, provincia de Castellón, Comunidad Valenciana. Es una playa Grande, con aguas azules y verdes turquesa, la orilla es de piedras redondas, lo que la convierte en una playa muy limpia, ahora bien aunque cuando entras al mar el fondo es de arena fina y agradable al pie, es recomendable llevar zapatillas cangrejeras. Los amaneceres son espectaculares. Está muy frecuentada por aficionados a la pesca y durante la noche se pueden ver familias y grupos cenando plácidamente en plan picnic. Hay diversidad de restaurantes con muy buena relación calidad precio y cuenta con muchos servicios. Dispones de playa para perros y hay también una playa nudista. El ambiente es muy familiar y tranquilo y no suele estar abarrotada. Durante el verano se incrementan las actividades, espectáculos, mercadillos, cine al aire libre, conciertos, teatro etc...

We have been there several times during the holidays and depending on the height it is more or less deep (watch out for the kids), but the water is usually clean, without jellyfish but not very clear. In general, they are beaches with large stones, but depending on the height you will also find areas of fine sand. You will be fine there.

Positive experience: I like this place. Good sea with clean rocks. Only one thing I would like to change fix all places with showerheads for rinsing. They was broken over a year ago and are still out of service. Please fix it.
