Positive experience: Very shallow water, nice beach. However, we were there in the off-season. Because of that, there were plenty of dogs around, who also sometimes did their business. Absolutely disgusting. There should be specific beaches designated for dogs and not all of them.

Negative experience: Overexploited. Nothing like what the photos show, thousands of people, cars, caravans, awnings, coolers, barbecues... all mixed up, already packed with not a centimeter free.

Negative experience: The beach was very crowded and the sea water was very dirty, even unfit for any activity in the water, considering that I saw several streptococci floating with the naked eye, which is disgusting and bad for the health of any human being.

Negative experience: Broken sunbeds and without cushions. I had chosen it for the barrier that somewhat protects from the waves. The sea disappointed me along the entire coast.

Fantastic experience: I think it is the only beach in Estepona suitable for going with children, as the beach does not cover for up to 50 meters inside. A bit crowded. There is free parking on the sand, where there are some caravans settled. 2 beach bars.

Positive experience: Unfortunately very crowded in summer, I can recommend going to the next beach where there are hardly any people instead of being like sardines in the water.

Fantastic experience: When we vacationed here, the beach was quite full, which we did not expect differently in August; however, we always found a place where we could set up several umbrellas. There is also a free large parking lot available. The water goes very shallow for a long time and there are no stones on the beach. In the outer water, there are some algae, but if you walk a few meters, they are gone. The lifeguard and the first aid area directly on the beach further enhance the experience. There are free sanitary facilities and a small restaurant on the beach (high prices) where you can rent a sunbed with an integrated umbrella for 10 euros. There were also showers at the edge of the beach, but they were out of order at the time. A supermarket is a 15-20 minute walk away.

Positive experience: Very calm beach. Ideal for people who really want to spend a quiet moment or for those with young children because the sea is in the shape of a closed circle and therefore poses no drowning risk. There are also those who do not like sand and who will prefer to sit on the heights of blocks on the pier.

Positive experience: It's a pond with murky water... It’s a bit gross to get in.

Negative experience: It's an urban disaster: uncontrolled camping. Cars parked where there should be a park, motorhomes almost on the edge of the sea, family atmosphere with tents, tupperware, coolers, and music in abundance. It's something 'alternative' in Estepona.

Positive experience: Good beach for families, sunbeds are a bit expensive, recommend bringing food, the two places to eat on the beach are very pricey.

Negative experience: A shame of a beach. The shoreline is full of sargassum, making the entrance extremely unpleasant. There is a trailer parking area with no control or order. The beach is filled with campers, tents, loud music, and annoying people with their lunch boxes, watermelons, and boomboxes. I am so surprised that the Estepona City Council allows this on a beach that could be a paradise.

Positive experience: Very quiet beach with beach bars and services, in the central area there are some stones in the water. Clean water and very good for swimming. The unfortunate thing is that this August the showers and fountains were not working.

Positive experience: Unlike many other beaches on this coast, there is pleasant fine sand here and absolutely no pebbles. Soft warm waves, friendly beachgoers... The wild parking is packed to the brim by midday. There are as many people on the beach as there were on the Black Sea coast in Soviet times. Many parents with children. Almost everyone comes with their beach umbrellas and folding chairs.

Negative experience: Beach with hardly any waves and perfect for kids but with dirty water

Positive experience: Beach with a large expanse within the town of Estepona. Perfect for spending a quiet, sunny afternoon.

Positive experience: We were drawn by the reviews as one of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol, but we didn't find it better than others, being generally 'bad'. There was no water in the showers due to the drought.

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, but don't even think about going to the beach bar, they will charge you €3.50 for each coffee, unacceptable.

There is a large dirt parking lot right next to the beach and people with reduced mobility can access it very easily, plus there are wheelchairs available to access the water.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and small beach. In August, it gets crowded (as is normal) but it's nice. The water is shallow and there are no waves, so it's great for kids to play. The beach bar is really expensive (2 coffees and two small toasts with butter, €14).

Negative experience: Beach to avoid at all costs. The water is disgusting. Yes, there is a large parking lot to park, but for everything else, it’s to be avoided. Seaweed everywhere and a crazy crowd. If I could have given zero, that would have been the case.

Negative experience: I do not intend to return to this bay. The access, the beach area, and the beach support need to improve a lot regarding the welcome for bathers. I did not see lifeguards in the area, I do not know if there are any! I do not recommend it when there are better options in the vicinity.

Negative experience: You have to be careful in the parking lot because they break into cars to steal what's inside. The beach bars are expensive for what they offer. There are a lot of seaweeds and it has a bad smell.

Positive experience: The beach is nice but don't even think about having something at the HAVANA beach bar, they charged us 11 euros for two coffees and an Aquarius. Shameful. Not even in Donosti do they charge that.

Positive experience: It's great to go with kids, it doesn't cover. In the farthest part of the jetty, which is not sheltered, the sea breeze comes in and it's better than by the beach bars. There are some stones but they are easy to see.

Negative experience: The beach of the gazebos! This beautiful beach loses its charm as it seems that nobody is doing anything to prevent it. The Town Hall and Local Police must take measures. A gazebo is for a campsite or your garden, but not for a beach in an urban area, for space and image. Come on, any beach in the south forbids this kind of events, but here I see it is allowed, that’s why nobody says anything to them. Thank you for taking measures and making this beach a pleasant place to enjoy without this tackiness.

Negative experience: I admit that I did not understand, it is ranked number one of the beaches in Estepona. Really, nothing came together for us to appreciate this beach. The water is freezing. There is no depth at 100 m, always knee-deep water. It is a beach really for small children, but not for us.

Positive experience: Right now, with the amount of seaweed, swimming is almost impossible, but I suppose that under other conditions it would be a very suitable beach to go with children since it has shallow water at the shore. Also, it's very difficult to set up umbrellas there; I don't know the reason, but they won't stay in place.

Positive experience: I give the beach itself a 4-5. Perfect for going with children, no waves, and you have to walk quite a bit for the water to cover you. There are also 2 beach bars and you can park for free right there. The days we were there, there weren't too many people, even though it was July. But it has a BIG BUT: they don't let you use the showers because they are reserved for people with reduced mobility, and they made us leave without being able to wash our 14-month-old baby, ridiculous. One thing is that they have preference, and another is that it is for exclusive use, and that they don’t even let you wash the children a little... Very bad for the Estepona Town Hall...

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, mini cove next to the Estepona Marina. Very fine sand, not a wave and two beach bars in the 'St-Trop' style, without the frills and exorbitant prices. Very nice place.

Fantastic experience: Clean sandy strip, transparent waters. The bottom slope is gentle. Few waves, it feels like we are in a swimming pool. Little infrastructure in the surrounding area, which makes it quite quiet. Easy to reach on foot from the promenade of Estepona or by car. Easy to park, but there are few spots for cars.

Negative experience: Busy tourist beach. We went to the bar to pay for one coffee and a cola, but were sent back to our spot. Half an hour later we received the bill to pay at the bar. This is not for us. One beach further down the promenade we found a quieter spot and then had delicious paella.

Fantastic experience: Playa del Cristo is a fantastic beach. Sheltered from the wind and big waves coupled with the shallow water make it ideal for toddlers and children.

Fantastic experience: A tucked away beach, very nice and sunny. It can get crowded with tourists, especially at the main entrance, but there are less crowded areas if you walk a couple of minutes. The water is clean with some seaweed and the water level is very low, allowing for quite a bit of swimming. It also has some beach bars with sun loungers.
