Negative experience: Although the beach is fully adapted for our friends, with showers and fountains and is accessible, it is a shame that being the only dog-friendly beach in all of Granada, it is only 2 km long, and moreover, it is located in the cargo port, which makes its waters quite dirty due to maritime transport. Years ago, it didn't even have approval for bathing due to its pollution. It is saved by the good atmosphere and its proximity to the metropolis.
Positive experience: Wide dog beach with showers. Almost fewer stones than other beaches in the area. It's great to have this type of beach, unlike other places where there are inaccessible beaches.
Fantastic experience: Dog-friendly beach where you can relax and enjoy with your pet. We found parking right at the beach, so we couldn't park any closer.
Fantastic experience: Muy buena playa para perros, estaba súper limpia (más que las que no están permitidos), y muy fácil de llegar. Hay aparcamiento, aunque siempre es mejor llegar algo antes para asegurarte un sitio.
Positive experience: Habría que limitar el tema de que los perros tengan acceso a las piedras del muelle ya que hay mucha basura y puede haber anzuelos. Podrían poner ya que están algún parque para animales en esa zona donde los perros puedan jugar y más papeleras

Fantastic experience: Perfect dog beach. Very long and wide, with services for dogs. I wish all dog beaches were like this.

Fantastic experience: Si pasas por Motril … no lo dudes chiringuito perfecto para tomarte unas cervezas con muy buenas tapas a buen precio y con un trato insuperable, la cocinera un sol , las camareras súper atentas y amables. Música espectacular. Baños muy limpios. Sin duda volveremos.
Positive experience: Una playa para perretes súper grande, con duchas para ellos y para nosotros. Con chiringuito y las familias que van a pasar el día con sus peludos súper educadas y con muy buen rollo. Se aparca genial por las inmediaciones y de forma gratuita

Fantastic experience: Very spacious and with all the necessary services
Positive experience: Dog-friendly beach and very good for fishing. The dirtiness doesn't make you want to sit down or swim.
Fantastic experience: One day we went down to the boat and didn’t know where to eat. Talking with some friends from Motril, they recommended the 'cabaña' at Playa Cable. I think we made the right choice; they play rock music and the service is exceptional. They have tapas, migas with sardines, boquerones with pipirrana, shrimp, prawns, crabs, Russian salad, mackerel, etc. The Alhambra special beers are super cold, sometimes frozen. Everything was delicious, and if you order portions, it’s all fresh! The drinks are great while watching the sunset and the seaside. I'm super happy about this discovery! One negative point is that if you come around noon, you will have to look for a spot to settle down, but they will still attend to you! Highly recommend it 100%.

Negative experience: I arrived today with my pet and the whole promenade area is full of garbage, palm trees, dirt, and the smell of urine everywhere. And on top of that, you find fishermen occupying part of the dog beach..... and then what I like the most is that they say that dogs are the ones who make it dirty.
