Fantastic experience: Wonderful lagoon, a bit windy. Paradise for kitesurfing and lazy sunbathing on the beach
Fantastic experience: This place is magic... while the entrance through the Risco guarantees parking and the walk is spectacular
Fantastic experience: Visually stunning. Windy. The tide came in and we had to move several times. The water in the sea is very cold but fresh and has magical colors. In the lagoon, the water is warmer. Free parking but endless potholes.
Fantastic experience: A dreamlike spot on Earth!!! I walked to this atoll from Costa Calma towards Morro Jable and back again. It was simply great! Really Caribbean! From the hiking trail on a hill, there is a fantastic view of the atoll. In general, you can hike above the atoll and enjoy the view. By the way, it works wonderfully in sandals (at least it did for me and my companion in early February). You can reach the atoll by car via the highway from several bays. At high tide, the atoll is well filled with water. At low tide, it is partially completely dry. It's really exciting to walk there. You can also cross the atoll at high tide in some places. The water then reaches about the hips or the navel.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, lacking wind there weren't many surfers 'around'... Very wide beach, when the tide comes, you should pay attention to which 'path' you take... The water currents look very cool though!

Fantastic experience: Open spaces and nature. De-stressing and a feeling of freedom. Immense beach with tongues of light golden sand and clean water.
Fantastic experience: Amazing infinite White Sand beach
Fantastic experience: Majestic and unforgettable. Depending on the tide, pools of seawater alternate with dry sandy areas where one can stroll. A view to see at sunset when flocks of plovers venture into the pools to catch their prey.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely stunning beach, visit it twice. Beautiful soft sand, clear blue water, quite shallow, so great for kids. Sitting on the beach not very pleasant when heavy winds.
Fantastic experience: If you are in Fuerteventura, you must have visited this beautiful beach. There is a lagoon or a sandbank in front that fills with seawater, and from above it looks dreamy like in the Caribbean. You can rent equipment as a beginner or a pro at the ION Kitesurfing and Windsurfing School, or like me, get your kiteboarding certification. Have fun getting to know this beautiful island ;-)

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for quiet, uncrowded natural beaches, you will find it here. A bit of SPO from the south. Beautiful lagoon, watching kiters, walking, beach bar at MeliaHotels, long walks, each in their own way, very relaxed!

Fantastic experience: A really beautiful beach, topped by giant sand dunes, which forms a strip, a very long arm of sand in the sea enclosing a small warmer lagoon, where one can swim more safely or where young surfers can quietly experiment with their surfing without the risks of the open sea.

Fantastic experience: Open spaces and nature. De-stressing and a feeling of freedom. Immense beach with tongues of light golden sand and clean water.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Great for kids, adults, and people who might want to wear less. Because of the lagoon, there are areas where the water is only 50 cm deep. Otherwise, you can spend the day there relaxing beautifully. Because everyone just runs around as they find it good for themselves.
Fantastic experience: Majestic and unforgettable. Depending on the tide, pools of seawater alternate with dry sandy areas where one can stroll. A view to see at sunset when flocks of plovers venture into the pools to catch their prey.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Especially loved by surfers and kite surfers. Can get very windy though.

Fantastic experience: Do you want to learn kiteboarding? This the perfect spot. You have shallow water here during high tides where you can start learning easily. As soon as you get on board (2-3 days of learning) you can enjoy riding in the deep water. 80% of winds here is offshore but rescue teams keep an eye on everyone making you feel safe in case you can not come back ;)

Fantastic experience: Enchanting place, to visit with high tide that fills the lagoon and creates a spectacular mirror of water.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful if there is not much wind
Positive experience: Very spectacular. Be careful with the tides, it's a muddy mess. And at the entrance, the mosquitoes will eat you! Avoid the palm tree area, it's horrible.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic place.

Fantastic experience: One of the better beaches on this island or even the best
Positive experience: Shallow small lagoons with water, beyond which is the ocean. The water in January was warmer in the ocean than in the lagoons.
Fantastic experience: Great beach, lacking wind there weren't many surfers 'around'... Very wide beach, when the tide comes, you should pay attention to which 'path' you take... The water currents look very cool though!

Fantastic experience: incredible beach!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: The best beach I have seen in Spain in my life
Fantastic experience: A really beautiful beach, topped by giant sand dunes, which forms a strip, a very long arm of sand in the sea enclosing a small warmer lagoon, where one can swim more safely or where young surfers can quietly experiment with their surfing without the risks of the open sea.
Fantastic experience: Like in the Caribbean
Fantastic experience: Super views, I recommend this nice place
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with a snack bar
Fantastic experience: Caribbean feeling. Swimming in a huge lagoon. You can relax on the large sandbank. At the surf shop among the palm trees below the Melia hotels, you can get drinks and small snacks if needed.
Fantastic experience: A lovely beach with a strip of land extending into the sea, a play of tides... Too bad about the monstrous buildings that overshadow it. It's still 5 stars because if you don't frame the monsters, the rest is breathtaking.
Fantastic experience: Dreamy beach.
Positive experience: Very nice but there was noticeable dirt on the shore of the lagoon.
Fantastic experience: Barca beach or Sotavento beach is a unique place on the island of Fuerteventura, where the whim of nature allows you to find one of the most singular beaches in Spain. This paradisiacal enclave stretches over nine kilometers of fine sand and turquoise waters. However, the main peculiarity of Sotavento is its curious distribution, as the whims of the sea have shaped a singular beach with two shores, much more visible at low tide. If you are lucky enough to enjoy a day at this beach without wind, you will fall in love with the scenery of the place.
Fantastic experience: A truly extraordinary landscape
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and spacious beach. Simply perfect!
Fantastic experience: 5 out of 5, there is nothing more to mention
Positive experience: Nice sandy beach. Overall, many naturists. You can spend some time here. Quite a few people. Nice views around.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to
Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, it will undoubtedly leave you in awe. The place is incredible, that turquoise water, the pools, the fine sand, those giant dunes surrounding the landscape. It is definitely worth visiting. It might be the most beautiful beach on the island, windy, but impressive. There is a stretch of somewhat rough road but no difficulty until reaching the free dirt parking. I missed a place to clean the sand from my feet a bit, although with that scenery, you don’t care about anything.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with Maldive vibe. In short period the beach changed shape, so be ready every hour to change your spot. It was so surprising to see an Angel shark in one of the lagoon pools. Definitely a must visit beach.
Fantastic experience: Go shortly after high tide. So you can enjoy the whole spectacle. Really beautiful place. #respectnature
