Papagayo Beach
Information
The Playa de Papagayo is often described as one of the most beautiful beaches in Lanzarote. It features stunning golden sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a picturesque location for swimming and snorkeling. However, there are some drawbacks to consider:
- Access: The beach can only be reached via a long and bumpy unpaved road, about 4-6 km in length, which can be difficult for some vehicles.
- Entry Fee: There is a charge of 3 euros per vehicle for entry, but many visitors question where this money goes, as the road conditions remain poor and there are limited facilities.
- Crowded: It is a popular spot, often overcrowded, especially during peak seasons, leading to issues with parking and space on the beach.
- Limited Amenities: Facilities are minimal, with only a couple of restaurants nearby. There are no public restrooms, and visitors are advised to bring their provisions.
Despite its shortcomings, many still recommend visiting for the beautiful scenery and the experience of its tranquil waters.

Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, and the views around it are even more beautiful - high cliffs with a panorama of the coastline and other nearby beaches. The beach itself is sandy and not very large. In November, there were quite a few people, so I suspect it gets very crowded in the summer season. It is located in a cove and is a great place for sunbathing and relaxation. There is a restaurant nearby, and you can leave your car in a large parking lot. Unfortunately, the access to the beach is very poor - several kilometers on a gravel road, where we prayed not to puncture the tires of the car. Nevertheless, I think it's worth visiting this place because the beautiful views make up for everything.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach and very beautiful reef! Steep path for access but it’s worth the sight...
Fantastic experience: Fantastic spot south of Lanzarote. Dirt road and three euros for the passage. After parking, there is a bar. On the left is the beach. If you feel like walking, there are other beautiful coves. It's the most touristy and crowded beach in the area...the others are quieter and wilder.
Fantastic experience: You cannot visit Lanzarote without going to Playa Papagayo!! A beautiful place that takes your breath away. We recommend going at sunset... wonderful!!!
Fantastic experience: Amazing beach with parking and restaurant. Only problem is the road to it not so good.

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in the Canary Islands with golden sand and crystal-clear waters. Surrounded by volcanic cliffs, it offers a breathtaking view from the top, particularly stunning at sunset. Access can be a bit complicated due to the dirt road along which there is a booth where you pay €3 for entry. At the end of the road, there is a large free unpaved parking lot. It is advisable to bring everything you need, as the services are limited: there is only one restaurant and bar with disproportionate prices. Perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or simply enjoying the sun in a peaceful environment.
Fantastic experience: A great beach to enjoy turquoise and warm water with views of a volcanic rock cliff. There are colorful fish that come close to you. Highly recommended.
Positive experience: The beach is beautiful, but there are too many people, even in March. Not to mention the road to get there, which is in very bad condition. I much prefer Playa Blanca, which is located in the north, with white sand and volcanic rock. It's wild and really stunning. A true beauty!
Positive experience: Very atypical to access this beach... you have to drive several kilometers on dirt and stones! Upon arrival, there is a beautiful turquoise beach surrounded by volcanic rocks, with a view of a chain of volcanoes. There is a bar that detracts from the scenery but is appreciated with the heat and the view. The beach is often crowded, but if you walk a bit, there is another beach on the other side of the point with almost no one.

Fantastic experience: Yellow sandy beach. Foot in the water but no swimming.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful sandy beach, shallow entrance without stones and nice cove. Worth the three euro access fee. Roads to the parking lots have mostly been repaired, no big potholes starting from the toll booth. Tip: drive through the town to the toll booth, the public road from the first roundabout is the right pothole path.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite places in Lanzarote. There are three beaches. I find the first beach the most beautiful for lounging and swimming. The sand is very light. The third beach is great for camping. Each person should make their own choice. Entrance by car is €3 (Aug/24) only payable by card.
Negative experience: What a disappointment! 5 km on an unpaved road full of potholes and stones. The rental car bounced around on all sides. Once we arrived, it was super crowded! The parking lot was completely full, and we eventually parked in the lot for the campsite. We found the water and beach disappointing. We also read everywhere that people had to pay €3, but we didn't.

Fantastic experience: Amazing beach with parking and restaurant. Only problem is the road to it not so good.
Positive experience: It's a beautiful cove in a secluded location, you have to drive on an unpaved path and if you are not a resident, the entrance fee has to be paid until 6 PM. Generally, it tends to be overcrowded and parking is not easy if you don't arrive early. It is in a protected area but there is a restaurant up top. The last time I visited, there was a lot of trash left on the stairs. It's a shame.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach. Stunning view from the restaurant bar.

Negative experience: In my personal opinion, I went to visit it because of the comments I read. I thought it was going to be an extraordinary beach, but I was quite disappointed with the road to get there, about 20 minutes of bumpy, dusty road in terrible condition. They charge €3.50 for access; when there is a charge at a place, there is usually some maintenance. There are no portable toilets in the parking lot, just a couple of beach bars that do provide some service, and that's the only thing that saves the place. In short, no trash cans / no toilets / no shade. Access from the parking lot to the beach on foot is complicated (quite a high or long staircase), strollers are complicated, and elderly people with reduced mobility have a hard time. During peak hours, it is crowded.

Negative experience: The beach is nice, however there are many things that make you seriously reconsider going. First of all, there is a path of about 12 minutes approximately that is not paved (potholes, many stones, sinkholes…). To enter the path, there is a man (from the town hall) who wants to charge you €3 for the protection of the protected area, but it just happens that it is only protected during working hours; if you go to the beach in the late afternoon, there is no one to charge you or supervise. That €3 charged for each passing car is not used for anything; as I mentioned, the road is in very poor condition, the beach does not have a lifeguard, there are no trash bins, no restrooms…. The only way you have to go to the restroom is by paying for a drink in one of the two bars that are next to the beach and which, of course, have high prices. For informational purposes, for those who still want to go despite everything, the town hall man only accepts credit cards.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Lanzarote by far!!!! It was super quiet, the water is light blue and you can go snorkeling, it's amazing. As expected, it's one of the most popular ones.
Fantastic experience: A very beautiful cove with lovely reefs and a cave with very beautiful fish. I recommend bringing goggles and a snorkel.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, if not the most beautiful in Lanzarote. The access is via a somewhat bumpy dirt road, but if you go slowly you'll arrive just fine. There is a cost of 2 euros to enter, but if you go before 11:00, entry is free. The beach has no services at all, but it's true that there are 2 restaurants at the top of the beach with good local food. When you go down, there are some guys selling umbrellas and snorkel goggles. It is recommended to bring a cooler and umbrella if you are going to spend the morning or the whole day. Before reaching Playa Papagayo via the dirt road, you will find other very beautiful beaches and coves; the first is Playa Las Mujeres, which also has its charm, and behind it, there are some lovely little coves; the first was mixed and the one that follows is the same.
Fantastic experience: It's one of the prettiest and also most crowded beaches on the island. It's definitely worth it. Fine sand, ideal for snorkeling. Beautiful place. Better to make a reservation if you want to eat at the restaurant; we ended up not eating there because we didn't make a reservation.

Fantastic experience: Natural park, several coves, beautiful sea, no services for umbrellas and loungers, so bring your own umbrella or tents. Whole days in beauty.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, very small with a lot of people. I recommend bringing snorkeling goggles as there are many fish and marine life to see while snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: One of the most famous and touristy beaches on the island. I recommend going early (before 10:30) to easily find a spot. There are several coves, more or less large. There are also small bars and restaurants, where you can access restrooms for free. Overall, spectacular beach.
Fantastic experience: Upon arrival, you can observe several beaches in succession. Papagayo Beach is the most famous but perhaps not the most beautiful. There are others that are more charming and wild.
Positive experience: Small beach, with a long and bumpy access (3€) from the road to the parking. It is quiet since it is sheltered. There are quite a few fish in the area, so with goggles and a snorkel, you can have some fun for a while.

Papagayo Beach: Reviews

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Lanzarote.
Positive experience: Nice view, but the road is hard, €3 for entry, not worth it just for the views.
Fantastic experience: Amazing beach with parking and restaurant. Only problem is the road to it not so good.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, beach, and excellent food at the restaurant.
Positive experience: The beach is very beautiful but the journey is too long and uncomfortable due to the state of the road, with very pothole areas for several km; otherwise, it's worth it.
Negative experience: It's a joke to charge, but the goat path is obvious. Not to mention that it's illegal to only accept card payments; the rude and disrespectful ticket seller tells you to report it when you mention it. What they do is illegal, allowing people to enter without paying. There's no crowd control, cars kept coming in while there was no parking space left. More respect and education, and less arrogance. The beach is nothing special; it's fine to see but that's it.
Fantastic experience: Beach that costs 3 euros to enter, it really isn't worth it compared to the beaches in the area.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach. Stunning view from the restaurant bar.
Positive experience: Nice beach, but quite small and relative to its size it has attracted many people. There are also other beaches and food places nearby.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, reachable by car as well, there is a fee for car entry. Accessible by foot and by bike!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic beach in Lanzarote. You can spend the whole day there to also visit the other coves. Cost 3 euros for a car. Very spacious dirt parking.

Positive experience: Beautiful beaches(!) The many bays invite everyone to swim. Everyone can find their own spot here. A fee of €3 is charged for entry ... that money should be invested in the road! Adventurous!

Access from the parking lot to the beach on foot is complicated (quite a high or long staircase), strollers are complicated, and elderly people with reduced mobility have a hard time. Fantastic experience: I give it five stars because it is wonderful, but I must say that it was very crowded, so the water was murky and not clear at all. It's a shame for this place, which is undoubtedly amazing. I recommend going during dates outside of summer and holidays because it will surely be very beautiful and you can appreciate it better.
Fantastic experience: An unforgettable place, beautiful cove. The only downside is the stones at the entrance.
Negative experience: One of the most popular beaches, but it's regrettable the fundraising effort. They charge €3 per vehicle, which is fine, but they don't invest anything. It's accessed via a poorly maintained gravel path, be cautious!!! In Asturias, there are rural paths for animals that are better conditioned. There are no services, a food bar only for orders, payment is only by card.!!! Aside from raising funds, they could invest something!!
Negative experience: The supposed charge of €3 per vehicle is meant to preserve access, which is null due to the state of the roads and the access via stairs. Moreover, it lacks a bathroom, shower, or any other type of service despite being a paid beach. On the other hand, the money they collect daily is also intended to maintain surveillance, but the truth is there is no type of surveillance; only the staff that collects the entrance fee, who at most can observe the number of cars entering and nothing more. The surveillance of the area is nonexistent. It's simply a business, a beautiful beach, like many others in Lanzarote.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, very clean and clear water, but very crowded with people. There are real problems finding parking. But the beach itself is beautiful.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in Lanzarote. My favorite so far and I will come back here ❤️ I totally recommend it! The way to get there is uneven and I hope this can be improved in the future, there are two restaurants to order food and drinks.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, if not the most beautiful in Lanzarote. The access is via a somewhat bumpy dirt road, but if you go slowly you'll arrive just fine. There is a cost of 2 euros to enter, but if you go before 11:00, entry is free. Fantastic experience: Papagayo is one of the most beautiful beaches you can see in Lanzarote, it is a small cove where you can have a great day. Its crystal clear and calm waters make for a relaxing swim. The downside of Papagayo is the dirt road you have to cross with the car, which is in very poor condition. The descent to the beach is via some stairs that are too big for the steps. Another negative aspect is that, being a very small cove and such a sought-after beach, it is very crowded.
Fantastic experience: Ideal beach if it's very windy on the island, it is quite sheltered. The water is usually clean and calm. It is a crowded beach, but it's worth it.
Fantastic experience: Breathtaking beach, among the most beautiful in the world!
Fantastic experience: This beach is splendid, the water is turquoise.. The blonde sand ✨⛱️❤️❤️
Fantastic experience: Natural park, several coves, beautiful sea, no services for umbrellas and loungers, so bring your own umbrella or tents. Whole days in beauty.
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches on the island, we went back several days. There isn't much wind and the water is clear. The access is not easy, through a dirt road for several kilometers. There is a large parking lot, but it's advisable to be there before noon.
Fantastic experience: We really liked this beach, although you access it by a dirt road of 3 or 4 km, and then you have to go down a few stairs. The water is very clean and calm. Ideal for those who want to spend the whole day at this beach... there is a restaurant but no shower services and the like.
Fantastic experience: One of the most popular and beautiful beaches in the area and all of Lanzarote. A small white sand cove, shaped like a bay or shell. Clear emerald waters, still waters, calm like a pool. Ideal for snorkeling and enjoying the underwater scenery. Very peaceful and not very busy. Easy access.
Fantastic experience: One of the most famous beaches in Lanzarote, and for good reason! It's super beautiful, with several 'areas' depending on the seabed. It has a quite large dirt parking lot (with a dirt path to get there), although it is usually quite full - which is the only negative point of the beach -. It's worth the trip to get there.
Fantastic experience: The access is via a dirt path but it's manageable. It's worth visiting. Fine sand and turquoise waters.
Positive experience: If you are going to visit, take beach towels, an umbrella and snorkel. There are a couple of cafés where you can have seafood, salads and ice cream.
Positive experience: The access is a bit abrupt, however, it is worth it. There are no services, except for a couple of restaurants and an ice cream stand, the restrooms are not public, you have to make a purchase to access them. People with reduced mobility cannot access the coves.
Positive experience: As for the environment and view, it's a beautiful bay, but the road to get there is really poor. It's completely unpaved, and you have to drive quite carefully. It's a nature reserve, and you have to pay 3 euros for entry. I personally wouldn't go there again.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beaches and incredible views. I definitely recommend it.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach and stunning water. To get there, a small gravel road but absolutely not complicated. The entrance ticket costs €3.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, but for the more adventurous, I recommend a family walk on foot, with sneakers. Start from the end of Las Coloradas beach. Climb the rocks along the hotel, then follow the small path while staying close to the ocean. You will pass by Playa Mujeres followed by Playa del Pozo to arrive at Playa de Papagayo. A beautiful hike of about 7 km round trip.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful virgin beach in Lanzarote. You have to walk about 15 minutes along dirt paths where there are some potholes and stones, but you can manage without problems and they usually sprinkle water to keep the dust down. There is a beach bar at the top. The water is clean and crystal clear. There is a ticket booth at the beginning of the path that says you have to pay €3 per vehicle to enter since the beach is in a Natural Park, but on Wednesday, August 7th, there was no one at the booth and we all entered without paying. I don't know if that's usual.
Positive experience: A family-friendly beach with people of all ages. A bit crowded with tourists, as expected, and relatively little space on the sand. Access is via a stone and sand staircase that is not very well maintained. The beach shoreline is full of stones, although there weren't any towards the deeper part, the water was very clean and clear, ideal for snorkeling. With practically no waves, very good weather, sheltered from the wind, although there are no shaded areas. Access by car is a dirt road of about 4-5 km. 'There was' a supposed booth where you had to pay 3 euros by card for entry, we did not see it.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach, with turquoise blue water but it doesn't deserve all the hype it has. In August, it is packed with tourists. The road to get there is dirt, full of potholes and rocks. Praying not to get a flat tire. Access to the beach is via steep stone stairs. Once seen, I wouldn't return. There are beaches with better access and just as beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic beach. The only downside is the access to the park that leads you to all those beach areas. The terrain is tricky for the car. But if you go slowly and carefully... You arrive without any problems. The visit is worth it, and the 3 euros for park access.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, very small with a lot of people. I recommend bringing snorkeling goggles as there are many fish and marine life to see while snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: A lovely (remote) beach. Get there early to grab a spot in the car park and in the shade on the beach. Be warned, the road to and from the roundabout is a dirt track; it is ~6km to the car park.
Fantastic experience: Papagayo Beach is one of the most beautiful and photographed beaches on the island. Despite its small size, its natural charm will never cease to amaze you with crystal clear waters and golden sand, as it is as close to paradise as you can get on Lanzarote. Papagayo Beach is located next to the natural monument Los Ajaches, which is an important natural heritage for the island of Lanzarote. It belongs to the town of Playa Blanca in Yaiza. There is also a beach bar at the top, if you would prefer to enjoy a refreshing drink in the shade instead of in the sun. Due to the calm waters and the typical pleasant weather in the south of the island, this beach is ideal for snorkeling, so don’t forget your goggles and snorkel. You can reach it from Playa Blanca via an unpaved road. It is approximately 6 km long. Yes, the dust does rise in between, but the view is worth it. Visit season 2024 August.
Positive experience: It is accessed via a fairly long dirt road and consists of 5 beaches. I recommend wearing water shoes or sandals, as there are stones when entering the water. It is not the best beach I have been to, but it is very beautiful and has stunning views.
Fantastic experience: A great beach to enjoy turquoise and warm water with views of a volcanic rock cliff. There are colorful fish that come close to you. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, it is recommended to use a beach umbrella.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, it can get crowded in the afternoon. Also, there is definitely enough food available since the two restaurants here have a long wait.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beaches, to get there rocky path paid parking 3€.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beaches. Unfortunately, the access is very bad. But you have to visit this point on the map of the island of Lanzarote.
Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beaches I know! Here, nobody minds that about 50% are nudists. It's easily accessible by car for 3 euros, everything is well signposted. Once accepted, simply breathtaking, small dreamy coves invite you to swim and snorkel. There's little shade here but beautiful white sand.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Lanzarote, absolutely not to be missed.
Fantastic experience: The whole area has truly spectacular beaches, clean water, light sand, a paradise
Fantastic experience: The beach is reached after a dirt road (better with a 4x4), although it can also be accessed at low speed with a regular car. Free parking, nice beach with fairly warm water. There is only one restaurant (it's better to make a reservation) with medium/high prices. Oh, it's better to arrive early because it fills up quickly with tourists.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in Lanzarote. Natural park, not equipped. To get there you have to descend about a hundred meters from the parking lot. It is located in a cove protected from the wind and waves. Calm and transparent sea. A large quantity of fish even at the shore. If you want to venture further out, the wildlife will multiply its variety with some exciting surprises. Personal recommendation: go there no later than 9 in the morning, spectacular! It gets too crowded later. (But that's personal taste). At the top of the descent to the beach, there is also a small and characteristic bar/restaurant.
Positive experience: The place is beautiful, not much to say, but in the high season it is too crowded. I rather recommend parking in the adjacent residential area and taking a nice walk.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach with very clear water. Quite a busy beach. Large parking. Be careful, the road resembles a track for 4 to 5 km. So you drive slowly.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. I recommend arriving early to find a spot. It costs 3 euros to drive to the beach. The water is great for snorkeling, there is a bar, and everything is very beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Everything is said... it's beautiful, parking nearby. 3 euros entry, restaurant on site! Definitely worth a photo... then instead of going down to the beach, go directly to the one on your right (Cera Beach), much better and much less crowded because the problem with the famous Papa is that it's not very wide and gets crowded quickly! Possibility of snorkeling thanks to sellers on site (sale of masks/snorkels - umbrellas - large towels). A must do on this beautiful island.
Fantastic experience: Papagayo beach is a super clean and breathtaking beach. It is located in a beautiful natural area. You pay €3 for entry. The road to get there is the only downside, a dirt road with many potholes, but worth it once you see the beautiful beach.
Fantastic experience: It was the honeymoon trip to Papagayo, these beaches are amazing. A calm atmosphere to go with your partner or family. If you go to Lanzarote, visit these beaches without a doubt.
Fantastic experience: Well, if you pass by Lanzarote, it's a must-stop! Beautiful bay, a bit crowded (especially in the early afternoon) but very spacious.. Stunning sea, sandy beach, possible a bit of snorkeling. Presence of bars and a small restaurant. Access to the bay via a 'dirt road' and a payment of 3 euros per vehicle.
Fantastic experience: Superb sandy beach with clear waters. There are a few people on the beach but enough space for everyone, we weren't crowded with our neighbors. Access is via a 5km unpaved road and then a parking lot near the beach. There are 2 restaurants on the heights.
Positive experience: I think it is overrated. The beach is okay, but I liked other ones on the island more that you could park at in some roadside pull-offs. The good thing is that it is sheltered, so it can be a good option for children.
Fantastic experience: Recommended. The access by car is via a dirt road. You arrive at a parking lot and can walk from one beach to another. Until 10 in the morning, the atmosphere was calm.
Positive experience: A beautiful and charming place. It takes a while to get there because you have to go almost 8 km on a track. It is very crowded and I don't understand how so many people can go to such small coves. Area with magnificent coves with turquoise waters and golden sand, where you can practice snorkeling with little wave action. It tends to become crowded during the central hours of the day.
Positive experience: There aren't many people, the beach is very beautiful, turquoise waters with two restaurants on top with spectacular views, don't forget to bring your snorkeling goggles because you can see fish from the shore, it's a marvel.
Positive experience: It's pretty but always crowded... and I think it's outrageous to charge you 3 euros per vehicle..! Every day until they sell the tickets..! Then they leave and let you pass for free.
Negative experience: Everyone talks about how spectacular Papagayo Beach is, but for me, it was a horrible experience. The road to get there is a path suitable for goats. There are bumps that make you jump in the car all the time. But that’s not even the worst part; I have reduced mobility, and when you arrive, you see that there’s no way to get down to the beach. I felt super disappointed; they should indicate that people with mobility issues cannot go down so they don't visit that area. In the advertising for Papagayo Beach, they should mention those obstacles.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach but crowded with people. I believe there are more beautiful and lesser-known beaches that are worth visiting. Nevertheless, it is a beach that is considered a tourist attraction on the island and you should not miss it. At least see it.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach and the water is perfect... it is very quiet and the views are beautiful. You get there via a bumpy road and you have to pay 3 euros per person. The parking area is large.
Positive experience: Long dirt path, not very flat. Halfway through, they stop you and you have to pay 3€ (I really don't know what they invest it in since they could improve several things). When you arrive, there is a beach to the right and another to the left. The one on the left has sand and stones with rocks, the nice thing is that you can snorkel, there are many fish. The one on the right is sandy, ideal if you go with children. There is also a bar-restaurant.
Fantastic experience: The access to the beach is via a dirt road with a journey of about 4 or 5 km. It has good parking. There are two quite beautiful coves. The access via the stairs should be improved. There is a beach bar where you can buy drinks, and there are restroom facilities. A place you must visit.
Fantastic experience: Superb view and postcard beach. Be careful, it's a 20-minute drive on a dirt road to get there.
Fantastic experience: Road was a bit bumpy (dirt track), €3 toll charge but worth it for the beach. There's three car parks I believe, beach was very soft and crystal clear water.
Positive experience: Beautiful beach and water, we went there by foot and it took around one hour. It was sunny with wind, have to say the way to the beach was really nice and interesting, it was like walking in the desert. The beach as said is nice, although super windy (June) and the sand comes to your eyes, water was super cold (18 or 19). The view is fantastic and one could take beautiful fotos.
Fantastic experience: A beach for everyone, especially for nudists. A dream water, crystal clear, clean, calm. The beach has fine sand, a wild beach, without sunbeds or other commercial activities. It's worth a try!
Positive experience: The beach is nice but nothing special for my personal taste. I prefer more natural and larger beaches even next door.
Fantastic experience: 3€ to access by car, the road is not paved but remains accessible by driving slowly. The walk from Playa Mujeres to this beach is very pleasant with beautiful scenery and not very long. You arrive at a very nice beach in the middle of nowhere, however there are two lovely bars-restaurants. The sea was calm. I recommend.
Fantastic experience: Very picturesque cove, with the black stone cliffs towering over the sea. Despite it being Saturday, it was not overly crowded. Great for families.
Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful and famous beaches on the island, easily accessible and with parking, with a refreshment point and a promontory all around for beautiful walks and panoramic photos! (Ps you have to pay €3 to enter the area only with a debit card)
Positive experience: The beautiful landscape of natural beaches with clear water between rocks and cliffs is overshadowed by an access that takes more than 15 minutes and involves several kilometers over a rocky and dirt path, which is a true torture. To make matters worse, they charge €3 for car access, which does not match the deplorable condition of the road. One would expect access to be better maintained. The beach is lovely, the water is at a good temperature and clean, although there are no restrooms or showers. There's only a beach bar with access closed by a door where a person controls entry and asks if you have a reservation. Bittersweet experience.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach between cliffs, where being in the area... you can visit several beaches..☀️
Fantastic experience: A small but very beautiful beach, perfect for snorkeling. The access costs €3, and if you go by car, there is a huge parking lot right next to the beaches. However, to reach the parking, it is a 10-minute dirt road where you will fill the car with dust and you will have to go slow because of the bumps, but it's worth it. I recommend trying to go on a day when not many people are there, otherwise your towel won't fit on the beach.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, I recommend renting electric bikes to get there and to other places. The beach is beautiful with clear waters.
Fantastic experience: Recommended for spending an afternoon there! In my case, I went to visit it thinking it wouldn't be much, and it is very beautiful! The drive there was a bit murky.
