Fantastic experience: I love this place. A coastal spot that belongs to the municipality of La Laguna. A small neighborhood with a lot of tranquility and surrounded by the sea. Impressive views and it has saltwater pools. It enters directly from the sea. It has a pleasant promenade. There is public parking in the low season, during the high season it is more beneficial to go by bus. There is a dining area. Highly recommended to visit.
Fantastic experience: It's a great place to spend a beach day, suitable for children and disabled people. Excellent access to the water.
Fantastic experience: It's a nice place to unwind with a snack and enjoy the sea, although depending on the time you go, it can be hard to find parking. The pools are wonderful, saltwater, and it also has a small sandy beach sheltered by a breakwater.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to relax and stay disconnected. The little beach is completely renovated. Expanded a bit more. Re-enforced the base and walls with new cement blocks to cut the big waves. The place is very well designed it has all the facilities that no other beach in entire Spain has. It has a big changing room with shower in it. Toilets cleaned they are all free. It also have a natural swimming pools. The place designed for everybody. Children's, elders, physically handicapped person's with an access with a car parking until the pool. Very good beach to relax...♀️♀️️....

Positive experience: Tres jolie petite station balneaire. Dans la roche volcanique noire. Deux tres belle piscine de mer en bas de la ville. Paisible. Agreable. Tres jolie. J y reviendrais mais cette fois çi pour me baigner.
Negative experience: Lugar muy descuidado, falta de limpieza y desinfección, los propios vecinos lo tienen muy descuidado, todos los rincones y esquinas sucios y mal olientes, sacan sus perros a sus necesidades y no recogen sus cacas y ni un poco de agua en los meados, las calles del interior dan asco, tienes que ir sorteando charcos de orines y cacas, no entiendo cómo los vecinos se sientan en las puertas de sus casas y se asoman a sus balcones y pueden convivir así con esa falta de respeto y educacion

Fantastic experience: An wenigen Orten wird man Meer und Berge so nah beieinander sehen. Fantastische gut gepflegte kostenlose Meeresschwimmbäder mit angrenzendem hellen Sandstrand sind der erste Anlaufpunkt. Cafés und Restaurants laden zum verzehren ein. Idealer Ausgangs- oder Endpunkt um im Anagagebirge zu wandern. Am nördlichen Ende des Ortes ist einer der besten Stände der Insel, der nur von Einheimischen und Surfern bevölkert wird, allerdings ist er schwer zu erreichen.

Fantastic experience: Lovely quiet beach. Facilities such as shower and toilet are clean and available on site. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Positive experience: Well, it's okay in terms of gastronomy. Few restaurants with standard food.

Fantastic experience: For me, they are, along with the natural pool of Punta del Hidalgo, the best I've ever known. The water of the powerful sea is replenished twice a day by the tides. Additionally, it is maintained by the town hall services. It has lifeguard services, showers, and restrooms, typical of the European Blue Flag. Very close by, there are restaurants and cafes discreetly located in the small village of Bajamar. Enjoy them. Regards.

Positive experience: Piscinas naturales, muy bien cuidadas. Tienen servicio de socorrista. Duchas y baños
Fantastic experience: Muy buenas piscinas naturales, hay una para niños. Tiene socorrista y hay tiendas en el pueblo donde comprar comida y otras cosas.
Positive experience: Solía ser unos de mis sitios preferidos para ir con niños, pero ahora la piscina grande está cerrada supongo que van a restaurarla porque se encuentra en muy mal estado, pero ya lleva tiempo así. No se que pasa con el ayuntamiento que no le ponen cariño a este balneario. La playa ni la piscina cuentan con zona de sombra, cero, grave para personas mayores y niños. No hay servicio de alquiler de toldos con lo cual si no vas preparado a llevar sol como una teja. No hay socorrista en la playa, no hay agua dulce para lavarse las arena al salir. Había mucha basura entre los matorrales de las escaleras y excrementos de perro. El viento es un gran problema en esta zona, se traga tierra y duele la arena en la piel (revisar bien el viento antes de venir) y por último el aparcamiento es prácticamente imposible. Si van a ir mejor ir en autobús, o armarse de paciencia y caminar bastante en subida. Suerte
Fantastic experience: Estuvimos en varias piscinas Naturales pero como esta ninguna se disfruta mucho con las olas y muy vigilada por socorristas
Positive experience: Lo más destacado del lugar es su zona de baño. Tiene dos fantasticas piscinas de agua salada tipo infinity fonde se puede hacer ejercicio o simplemente disfrutar de un agradable baño. Su clima es bueno practicamente todo el año. Lo que hay que tener precaucion es con el oleaje que, en esta zona, a veces es fuerte y se recomienda no bañarse. Tiene una pequeña playa al lado, zonas para tomar el sol, cambiadores y duchas (sunque de agua fria), socorristas, paseo matitimo y un buen lugar para contemplar bonitas puesras de sol tomando un helado contemplando el horizonte. Muy cerca hay una cafeteria alemana con exquisitas tartas y cafes. La arquitectura de la zona deja mucho que desear, fue una de las primeras zonas turisticas para los lugareños, y algunas de sus construcciones a primera linea de playa podrian haberse realizado con mejor gusto. Incluso hoy existen espacios construidos con posibilidades de ofrecer entornos de ocio y contemplación que no están siendo aprovechados. Pero el espacio natural ofrece un lugar con encanto donde las montañas acarician las olas del mar.

Fantastic experience: This place is so wonderful because you can swim in both the seawater pools and the open sea. There is a small beach. The best part is watching the waves come over the barrier into the pools. There are restrooms, showers, and changing rooms.

Fantastic experience: What a gem! Something for everyone at this place. Bit of a trek to get to but well worth it. Excitingly rough ocean for surfers but has a couple of other options for families and more nervous holidaymakers. Loved the experience of the saltwater swimming pool, though a bit on the deep side. Has an exquisite little cove protected by an almost impenetrable sea wall that created a mini wave pool. Marvellous. Like a pimped out Margate on steroids! Can't say enough great things about this place. When more people catch on, it's over!

Positive experience: Between the beach and the pool, there is an area where they play with a BALL. I don't know if it is the lifeguard's responsibility to prohibit it, since there is a sign that forbids it. And the ball always ends up hitting someone in the stands. Similarly, although it is not on the sign, the flying of KITES when it gets windy can be dangerous. If that kite falls steeply onto someone, it can cause quite a bit of harm.

Fantastic experience: Las piscinas son lo mejor. Súper recomendable porque son seguras para familias y a la misma temperatura que podría estar el mar. Baños cerca y la playa real al otro lado. Muy pedregosa y para snorkel bien

Positive experience: It has a very beautiful energy, even though I didn't swim, this place radiates a lot of peace. There is a part with rocks where I saw people fishing, of course, the tide was low. I don't think it's advisable to fish in the sea when it's rough. But just looking at it and being there brings peace.

Fantastic experience: I love being able to have a beer while looking at the sea... and Bajamar has that feature with its cafes and ice cream shops. Going at high tide is amazing... seeing the power of the sea crashing against the rocks and feeling the sea on your skin.

Fantastic experience: Great wee town about 2 km from Punta del Hidalgo. Walked from Punta along the shore road. Great views on both directions. Bajamar has great seapools to use if the weather allows. The weather wasn't kind as the sea was quite wild with quite a large Atlantic swell. Was great to see the large waves batter the rocks and shore. Had a walk around before having some food then heading back to Punto. Great place.

Fantastic experience: I‘ve seen many natural swimming pools in Tenerife, but the ones in Bajamar are extraordinary. There is a small beach on the other side as well which is particularly nice when you have kids with you.
Fantastic experience: This is definitely one of the most underrated places in Teneriffe you will rarely find in Canary guides, but this is for the must visit place on the island! I have never seen waves and pools like here before. Absolutely amazing!
