Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this natural pool. Although we went in October, there weren't many people. You can swim in the beach area with a comfortable stone entry or through a ramp to the natural pool, which is very nice, clean, and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: The place has become spectacular, although, if there is a bad tide and excessive winds like the day I attended, it is impossible to swim due to the danger; otherwise, it's a luxury.

Positive experience: It's not the best natural pool on the island. Since there is little space to set up, especially if the tide is high. But the water is clear and the atmosphere is calm in the area.

The two steps that you don't expect when leaving the street are not marked. Very dangerous for an elderly person who doesn't know the area. A lot of people have already fallen because of these steps. With the medical report filed, I will be going as soon as I get better...

Fantastic experience: A very original place, when I thought that few things could surprise me this place comes along and does it, seeing how the people of this town have fun and sunbathe in the middle of the street, yes literally, on the sidewalks people take the opportunity to spread out their towels and sun loungers and enjoy a beautiful beach day but without sand.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic spot in Playa de Arinaga where the locals enjoy its crystal-clear waters and marine life. A place "sheltered" from the wind that usually hits the area, with only the sound of airplanes bringing you back to reality.

CLEAN WATERS IDEAL FOR SPENDING THE DAY AND FOR SNORKELING, AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT PROFESSIONAL GEAR, JUST A TUBE, SOME GOGGLES, AND IF YOU WANT, SOME FINS, AND ENJOY THOSE UNDERWATER SCENERY. THERE ARE OPEN AREAS AND OTHER PROTECTED ONES LIKE A NATURAL POOL. THERE ARE PUBLIC RESTROOMS THAT ARE WELL MAINTAINED AND CLEAN. A PROMENADE WITH BENCHES AND FREE PARKING WITHOUT BLUE ZONES, AND WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS, IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE SEASON. BUT OVERALL, GOOD. AND ON THE SAME PROMENADE, THERE ARE FROM ICE CREAM SHOPS TO SNACK BARS, CAFES, AND SUPERMARKETS. THERE ARE ALSO SOME RESTAURANTS ON THE NEARBY STREETS IN GENERAL. A GOOD PLACE FOR A GOOD DAY... AND FOR MORE REFERENCES, GOOGLE 'ZOCO NEGRO IN ARINAGAS GRAN CANARIA' AND CHECK OUT REFERENCE PHOTOS.

Positive experience: A very cozy cove. Personally, I don't like stony beaches; I prefer sandy ones. But it is very clean and well-equipped for users to lie down.

Fantastic experience: Great natural pool. It gets quite crowded on the weekend. To enjoy the tranquility, it's better to go during the week. Nearby there is a burger joint, an ice cream shop, a supermarket, and a cafe. Very comfortable public bathroom and shower. Highly recommended for spending a day at the beach.

Fantastic experience: Perfect for going with children, especially at low tide. There is a stretch of sand and in the natural pool, various types of fish can be easily seen. A good place to start snorkeling with the little ones. I recommend bringing pinkies. Easy parking in the back streets, supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful sea swimming pool, even with a small beach. The entrance is rocky, but it is also possible via the stairs. Great for swimming and snorkeling even with smaller children. In the back corner above the stairs, there are always plenty of little fish to see. And even though it is often windy in Arinaga, the pool is often sheltered from the wind.

Positive experience: Nice and scenic view of the ocean. There is a barrier in the water, so the waves are not too large. There is however a lot of stones of various sizes in the water, so it is not very comfortable for the feet to get into the water.

Fantastic experience: A large pool that is protected by stones from the otherwise very strong waves. Ideal for small children, as there is a small sandy beach, but also really nice for adults. There are seating areas and a shower. Those who enjoy snorkeling will find it great here, with many fish and, with a bit of luck, other sea creatures. Next door, there is a SPAR that takes care of your food needs.

Positive experience: Natural swimming pool that is separated from the sea by rocks. The view varies by side, and is not as nice as, for example, in Agaete.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, with ramps and stairs to enter the sea, which is more visited by locals than by tourists. Easy parking.

Positive experience: Very nice natural pool located in the Arinaga area. The beach has a lifeguard and wheelchair access. Overall, it's very pleasant except for the people who smoke (which is not allowed) and those who play music too loudly. The best recommendation is to go during the week and preferably outside of the summer season.

Great unless you find yourself sitting near groups of people with big loudspeakers blasting insufferable reggaeton. Should be a non smoking beach but not everyone respects the rule.

Fantastic experience: Nice village on the Atlantic shore. The place is free from crowds of tourists, so if you are looking for quite and visited mostly by locals place, this is it! Plenty bars and restaurants around, so you can find something you like. There are few places to swim and to get tan for sure. I recommend this place to all looking for local taste.

Fantastic experience: Good place for swimming and not too far from the airport. Usually not crowded. Mostly local people, not too many tourists... Scubadiving training possibilities. Wooden planks on the rocks, which are great for sunbathing or picnics for example. Grocery stores and restaurants near the beach. Great place also for nice walks near the sea. Breakwater keeps the waves away from the swimming area.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. Especially lovely when the low tide is there. Take your snorkelling googls and go look at that beautiful underwater life (colourful fishes, different bottom textures etc). When high tide hits, there is not much coast line left, you can still swim but really nowhere to lay or sunbathe. There is sand and rocks. Also rockpools, what are nice for small kids to play in.

Fantastic experience: The low tide beach is nice but the real attraction for me is the pool - snorkeling here was amazing! I wouldn't have thought that many animals would be willing to live in such close contact with people since it has a man-made rock barrier to calm the waves and lots of people swim there but there are a wide variety of fish, sea slugs, sea cucumbers, urchins, and probably more. I could happily spend several days just snorkeling here.

Negative experience: Horrible tiny filthy with loud and rude locals crowded area.

Positive experience: Very beautiful even when it's windy. But don't go on the rocks unless you have plenty of calluses. They're slippery and have sharp edges
