Positive experience: A very good beach, but there is no parking, that is a big problem.

Fantastic experience: A very quiet and beautiful black sand beach in the north of the island. Very family-friendly and with few tourists.

Positive experience: Quiet with easy parking spot, lacking infrastructure ('showers', 'toilets', 'changing rooms').

Positive experience: The beach is nice but the access is horrible, a very steep road and there are no beach bars or anything. A bit neglected.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. However, there are relatively few parking spaces, which means the beach is not crowded. Lifeguards are present and there is a kiosk with drinks at affordable prices. The fine sand is black and gets nice and warm; water shoes could be a good option.

Positive experience: A nice beach... there's also a small beach bar... the worst thing is that there are few parking spots.

Negative experience: Closing off the area with chains so that cars cannot park is the worst thing they did; every day we're deprived of more beautiful things. Such a wonderful beach and they don't provide more access for parking and promoting tourism.

Fantastic experience: A magnificent beach of black sand/stone. If you go with children, you need to keep a close eye because just a couple of steps and it covers you. There are quite a few waves! It is very difficult to park, there are very few parking spaces, and from my experience, I don't recommend parking next to the mountain because a lot of police come and... You get a nice fine of €200.

Fantastic experience: Like all the beaches in Tenerife, it is fantastic, the only problem, which also happens in most, is that on peak hot days and holidays, it is impossible to park and you have to leave.

Fantastic experience: Accessible location, easy parking depends on the days or if accessed through the port area or Nea itself. There is a beach bar, but water in the showers in 'winter' times is NO.

Fantastic experience: Super quiet and hardly any people. A recommended swim if you're in the area.

Negative experience: Many cigarette butts, the locals are not very friendly, they don't care about planting the umbrella in your face, thus blocking your view of the sea. And if you like black sand, for those from the peninsula I recommend Gorguel beach in Murcia (only by car, only experienced drivers).

Positive experience: An ordinary beach with black sand. Very large waves and strong wind - swimming is impossible. I think it is not worth spending an hour and a half driving on steep and narrow serpentine roads to see this beach. There are other more accessible and safer places for swimming in the ocean in Tenerife.

Positive experience: Spacious. Clean and peaceful atmosphere. Dark sand. The showers didn't work.

Fantastic experience: Artificially renovated beach a few years ago between Radazul and Bocacangrejo. It is an area where there can be strong currents pulling inward. With the renovation, it has improved quite a bit and you can be relaxed. Coarse black sand. In the Bocacangrejo area, parking is better but sometimes insufficient for the number of people that gather. In the upper part, there is a park for kids with a zipline among other games. There is a beach bar to have a drink in the promenade area, but it does not have many more services.

Fantastic experience: Urban beach, with artificial sand, but very pleasant, easily accessible and with various services nearby.

Negative experience: The beach has no services, neither restrooms nor showers, it's a disaster. The best part is the beach bar, where you can enjoy food and drinks.

Fantastic experience: Suitable for coming with children, ideal for campers or motorhomes, quiet and peaceful environment.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, well-maintained beach. Also interesting and nice: You can walk quite far and even reach Tabaiba.

Positive experience: Black sand beach, quite coarse. The good thing is that it's in the northern area, near Santa Cruz, with parking space and a beach bar. The day I went, there were big and strong waves. I don't know if this is usual, but I think caution is needed when swimming, especially with children.

Fantastic experience: -mega cool black sand -with a bit more wind, there are also a few more waves -super super adorable kiosk with smoothies, snacks, cocktails, ... -there are lifeguards -great vibe with the other people there, I feel super comfortable there -not so much of a tourist beach -there's no bathroom -you have to bring your own umbrellas

Fantastic experience: Small calm beach, not very crowded, very black gravel sand, a small refreshment stand to have a drink and a couple of snacks. Bringing your own meal is better, there's not much around, just residential areas. The setting is nice. Very good for finishing the afternoon after an activity in Candelaria.

Positive experience: This small beach had great waves at the time of visiting and the iconic volcanic sand. There's also one or two small food stands. There's limited parking space, so it might be wise to park a little uphill if you can afford to walk the somewhat steep road leading to the beach.

Positive experience: Pleasant and pretty sandy beach. Approach from the north for the best parking possibilities. Stay on the north side of you have small kids, as the waves are smaller there and the descent less steep. Not great for snorkling as visibility is poor and only sand.
