Negative experience: This beach is in a hotel context in the middle between Puerto de Mogan (a beautiful place to see) and Puerto Rico (a well-maintained location). I must say that the beach is very small with black sand; the sea in this cove is very calm, certainly suitable for families with children. Even during peak hours, there aren’t many people. My rating is low, especially for the entrance to the beach from the parking lot side, which is not taken care of at all. When we went, there was trash scattered here and there. Other than that, you can eat something at the restaurants next to the beach.
Positive experience: Nice beach. The sandy beach is not large but very pleasant to stay, quiet and a very large area of shallow water with many small fish. It's really nice to swim here. You can park for free on the street by the spar (and other shops) and it's less than a 10-minute walk. Keep in mind that there are no toilets at the beach. There is a restaurant by the beach.
Positive experience: Cura beach is made of pebbles, and has a section of golden sand. The water is full of small stones, so be careful. You can park a bit further up where the Espar supermarket is for free. It is a rather small beach flanked by several large hotels.

Positive experience: If you want to be really calm, this place is perfect. It's easy to take the bus around the island if you wish. We won't be going back if anyone is wondering. Playground: Didn't see anyone in two months. Toilets: There are no public ones. Dog admission: Absolutely not.
Fantastic experience: Muy buena playa... Familiar... Porfavor... LOS PERROS ESTÁN PROHIBIDOS... Gracias
Fantastic experience: Nice place with vulcanic sand. Not busy area.
Fantastic experience: Playa natural de arena negra volcánica. Fácil de aparcar.

Positive experience: The beach is simple but actually good as it is not as crowded as the two neighboring beaches in Puerto Rico or Mogan; you can always find a spot. The place itself doesn't have much to offer; there is a supermarket, a few restaurants, and on both sides, there are not particularly nice residential and hotel complexes to admire. In the evening, when all the lights are on, the view becomes more beautiful. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place to be.
Positive experience: Nice beach, with pleasant Mediterranean sea water, very crowded, but for me, it doesn't feel that nice since we are talking about a small beach, both the accessible sea area and the sandy area. There is a nice area along its span with shops, bars, and restaurants. Torrevieja has several beaches and some better ones, but the area is very pretty.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic, nice, and quiet cove where you can find everything you might need. Several small restaurants and a large Spar store where you can get most things including fresh produce. A favorite spot to come back to.
Positive experience: Many restaurants and bars with music. Good bus services to all the important places. Beach with sunbeds. The sea can have waves, be careful with children and non-swimmers. Lifeguard on duty with flags.

Negative experience: not a nice beach, dead fish were everywhere washed up by the water, even in the sea when swimming you step on the fish because they are lying dead on the bottom
Positive experience: Very good sandy beach, clean and not too busy with people. 4 stars because there’s no toilets nor showers.

Cura Beach: Reviews
Positive experience: €3.5 for a sunbed without a parasol. Few people in November. Could be a bit cleaner. Lifeguard present. No service. 3 minutes walk to a Spar store. No toilet facilities unless you are staying at one of the nearby hotels.

Positive experience: Quiet not crowded
Negative experience: Stone beach and full of debris.
Fantastic experience: The staff is great, a beautiful place, access to the sea, beautiful swimming pools, good food, and acceptable prices.

Negative experience: I would give 5 for the sea. But everything else seems abandoned, especially the entrance avenue to the beach, which is very dirty and untended. What a shame.

Positive experience: Quiet and comfortable beach
Fantastic experience: Grotesque landscape for a beach full of marine life. Take your snorkeling goggles.

Negative experience: It is very neglected

Fantastic experience: Relax, good hotel, good food, national and European tourism. Very nice atmosphere and better weather 28*
Fantastic experience: Great beach with a wonderful view and dark volcanic sand
Fantastic experience: A fantastic, nice, and quiet cove where you can find everything you might need. Several small restaurants and a large Spar store where you can get most things including fresh produce. A favorite spot to come back to.

Fantastic experience: Also very nice
Fantastic experience: Quiet area of Gran Canaria. If you want hustle and bustle, you need to go to another place.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach but exposed to the waves. Full of sand in the water that eventually ends up everywhere (in swimsuits...)
Positive experience: Many restaurants and bars with music. Good bus services to all the important places. Beach with sunbeds. The sea can have waves, be careful with children and non-swimmers. Lifeguard on duty with flags.
Fantastic experience: Very quiet resort. Lovely supermarket and shop with everything you need. Staff are friendly. Several restaurants in the resort can't fault the ones we've eaten in. If you prefer a man made beach, a short walk across some low rocks at the end of the local beach, and you're there. Excellent bus service to other parts of the island.
Positive experience: If you want to be really calm, this place is perfect. It's easy to take the bus around the island if you wish. We won't be going back if anyone is wondering. Playground: Didn't see anyone in two months. Toilets: There are no public ones. Dog admission: Absolutely not.
Fantastic experience: Nice very quiet place in Gran Canaria
Fantastic experience: Incredible sandy shoreline, less crowded compared to nearby beaches.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, the waves are quite strong but swimming is possible.
Negative experience: not a nice beach, dead fish were everywhere washed up by the water, even in the sea when swimming you step on the fish because they are lying dead on the bottom
Fantastic experience: An amazing place overall! Amazing beach, stunning view at the sunset, one of the best I've ever seen. I went here on January so it was pretty quiet and with mostly elderly people so it was super calm with not so many attractions especially at night so you might want to consider for other nearby areas like Puerto Rico (although I was exactly looking for something super quiet). It might be busier other times in the year, but I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gran Canaria!
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach. Good for famillies. It’s publicly svailable although there is a hotel here. Nothing is sold here so you can’t buy any food or drink directly on the beach but there is nearby Spar.
Positive experience: Very good sandy beach, clean and not too busy with people. 4 stars because there’s no toilets nor showers.
Positive experience: Nice beach. Not busy
Fantastic experience: Great beach, sheltered from the wind and nice clean beach.
Positive experience: Lovely little bay. Very safe for children, great sand dark coloured not golden but very fine sand. You can walk out to shoulder level with firm sand under foot & the water is so clear. The sun is captured all day in this little bay from early morning to early evening when there is often beautiful sunsets. Would be 5* if there was a cafe & toilet. Sunbeds & umbrellas are available. There are a couple of restaurants, a cafe & Irish bar just 2 minute walk from the sea.
Positive experience: SUPERNICE !!! Great quiet beach. No fuss. Only two bus stops from AMADORES - and three stops from Puerto Rico. -
Fantastic experience: Nice place with vulcanic sand. Not busy area.
Positive experience: Small cove which has been heavily developed with apartments. Several restaurants some better than others.
Fantastic experience: Lovely and nice beach.
Negative experience: Dirty water with plenty of plastics floating around
Positive experience: Nice and quiet. Not a lot of activity of that's what you want
Positive experience: Beautiful views, but fairly small and rocky
Positive experience: Black sand here :) Cool beach though!
Negative experience: Good place, like always in the south of the island is missing toilettes
Fantastic experience: Lovely quite cove with some really nice and friendly restaurants
Fantastic experience: Quite and peaceful. Not a lot of people which made it more graceful. Just take your music, food and beer and its a great beach to be...
