Negative experience: Wir wollten einen Tag am Yachthafen verbringen, eine andere Seite von Las Palmas erkunden. Es war geplant mit dem Stand Up Paddel rauszufahren, aber...der Strand und seine Zugänge waren leider eine öffentliche Toilette.

Negative experience: Deberían mejorar las instalaciones de acceso. Las escaleras están en mal estado y la rampa de minusválidos queda muy lejos del agua, por no decir que sólo hay un acceso por rampa en un extremo.

It’s becoming more frequent, and on top of that, we have to endure them bathing in the sea and doing their business in the sand, because they don't clean it up, that's as far as we've come. And say something to the dog owner, so they can see how this group of rude and disgraceful people responds.

Positive experience: Una playa no muy grande y algo sucia, debido a la cercanía de un Puerto privado en el club nautico. Hay un puente desde el que te puedes tirar sin problema ninguno.
Negative experience: Es un lugar conveniente para hacer actividades deportivas q no requieran bañarse en el agua de mar ya q esta muy contaminada debido al tráfico de barcos de mercancías y el taller mecánico de barcos petrolíferos. Se puede sentir el olor de la aceite de motor en el agua.

Fantastic experience: Toller Strand mitten in der Inselhauptstadt. Nach einem ausgedehnten Stadtbummel lohnt es sich, den Strand aufzusuchen. Hier bekommt man kaum mehr etwas von den Abgasen und dem Verkehrslärm mit. Eine wahre Oase der Ruhe. Es gibt auch eine Promenade mit vielen Restaurants und kleinen Geschäften.

Positive experience: Because... this rating?? It lacks police and lifeguard surveillance. And let's not even talk about the cleanliness on the shore (especially the area of the Nautical Club).
Negative experience: Fatalmuy súcia y llena de casetas y gente acampada; y luego vá uno a pasear con su mascota y tiene que estar con cuatro ojos vigilándo por su seguridad.Nos parece mentira que nó se tomen medidas.No será porque no hay carteles!!.La gente creemos que nó sabe lo que és estar en un nivel 3".Se saltan las prescripciones como si con ellos nó fuera, la mascarilla cuando la llevan, la gran mayoría la lleva mal puesta, y encima la gente que hace ejercício" vá sin mascarilla y en ese paseo no hay espácio para los que andamos en ambas direcciones y el que o la que nos cruzamos, que vá sin mascarilla y pasa muy cerca..muy cerca.ahí queda.A quien corresponda.

Negative experience: It's a shame how this beach is. If you walk along the promenade, there's a stench of urine that's unbearable, due to the people who sleep there, and also many cigarette butts. There's a lack of supervision and more civic campaigns, as there are none from the authorities. It's a disgrace how dirty and uncivil the city is.

Fantastic experience: Great beach to meet locals. Not near as busy as Las Canteras. Water is calm, and view of port is nice if you’re into having sth to look at, trust than just an empty horizon.
Negative experience: An ugly beach at best, especially considering how many there are on the island. Just a couple of kilometers away is Las Canteras beach, much better and more varied than this one, and of course without views of the industrial part of the port, no stagnant water or smell from the sewage, and of course you won't find completely abandoned facilities that homeless people use as a shelter since the government is incapable of offering them anything better. In short, a horrendous beach that is very poorly maintained and badly located, not worth visiting, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for more than a stroll along its avenue, which is definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: Es una gran playa, para hacer deportes náuticos (piragüismo,vela, windsurf....etc). Una pena que el ayuntamiento la tenga tan abandonada. Las escaleras de acceso, hay varios peldaños rotos. Los bajos de la avenida marítima,frente a la playa, están la mayoría cerrados y mal aprovechados. Y con muchos sin techo viviendo en casetas tipo iglú . Las Canteras se lleva todo el presupuesto y la atención del consistorio, mientras que esta playa es la gran olvidada.

Fantastic experience: Aunque mucha gente diga que es una playa sucia, no es del todo cierto. Está perfecta para practicar deportes como voleibol, fútbol, kayak/canoa y otros más. Cuenta con un pequeño muelle del que se puede saltar al agua cuando la marea sube. Las olas no suelen ser muy fuertes por lo que se puede disfrutar de un día tranquilo en la playa.
Positive experience: Buena playa para jugar a volley (debes traerte tu propia red), también para hacer kayak/piragüismo o simplemente tomar el sol. No recomendaría el baño al ser una playa situada dentro del mismo puerto pero existen servicios de limpieza de las aguas y el mismo servicio canario de salud califica el agua de excelente para el baño (2-7-2018). Así que no hay nada que temer.

Positive experience: I went to play volleyball, not really to the beach to bathe. The atmosphere depends on where you are, it is good or regular. Nonetheless, it's fine to soak a little.

It's a small beach squeezed between the commercial port, the sports port, and the naval base. Not to mention the boats that dock 20 meters from the beach because they don't fit in the port. You can imagine what happens if you shoot there.

Fantastic experience: This beach is different because it's for the people from the neighborhood. No tourist hustle, a calm family atmosphere, and a clean beach with not many waves. Perfect for the kids.

Positive experience: There are many posts for beach volleyball courts (about 12). You have to bring your own nets, court boundaries, and balls. Some courts are occupied in the afternoons by a local club. There are also a few posts (but only for 4 beach volleyball courts) in the northern section of Las Canteras, about 3 km away.

Positive experience: It could be much better, cleaner, more maintained, and with fewer drunks who are practically fixed next to a bar corner that you don't even want to enter to order something, and all this in front of sporty boys and girls who train and compete. The beach services are clean and work well, although it would be good to open earlier and close later. It's a shame because this beach is great for enjoying a lot at a sports level, with beach volleyball, soccer, and also basketball because there's a court next to it.

Fantastic experience: It's at the opposite side of the usual LP beaches (Canteras), at the side of the Puerto Deportivo, for this reason is normally used by the locals (less tourists), nice and smaller than Las Canteras, but convenient if you live on east side of Las Palmas.
