Patos Beach

Negative experience: The town hall is the worst I've seen, limiting parking to 5 caravans, which is not an area, it's without water, without drainage and on top of that, they start issuing fines while parked in the parking area, which is illegal since you can park, not camp. For that, they go with LOCAL POLICE AUXILIARIES, which is illegal if they do not have qualifications, as they do it in summer to issue fines. In short, a disaster for caravans. I won't go where they don't treat people well, and with disdain.!!!!! Bye, people from Vigo, all for you.!!! DEUX.

Negative experience: Wide beach, crowded with people already in June, dirty, no parking available, a disappointment.

Positive experience: Beach with good access conditions. Some difficulty with parking. It's worth mentioning that with high tide, there is a small area left.

Positive experience: Surfer beach around a residential area. It has free parking for fires and caravans. Very crowded.

Fantastic experience: Great open sea beach, with waves, views of the Cies Islands, and all kinds of services (parking, restaurant, beach bar, lifeguards).

Fantastic experience: La playa es muy bonita y hay mucho ambiente ahora en invierno ya que hay una escuela de surf. Muchos perros jugando en la arena y gente paseando.

Positive experience: La playa está bien, tiene olas y es divertida, pero cuando sube la marea es pequeña, y sobre todo, este verano hay demasiada gente, y por lo menos nosotros no estabamos a gusto con tanta cercanía. Por lo demás está muy bien, con escuela de surf, chiringuitos, y en zona urbana

Fantastic experience: Es un excelente lugar para pasear y hacer surf además es una playa que fuera de temporada se puede llevar a los perros y nadie se queja. Sólo una recomendación es llevar siempre algo de abrigo si sopla mucho el viento, pues por su orientación puede soplar con intensidad. Hay cafeterías todo el año y buenos restaurantes en temporada.

Positive experience: Es una playa maginifica, con unas impresionantes vistas de las Islas Cies, tienen duchas y hay bares cerca. Playa que no permite perros. Pena es la masificacion y que no hay para aparcar, hay varios parkings de pago, por 3€. Tienes club de surf con clases. No hay sombra.

Positive experience: playa familiar sin corrientes y olas buenas. surfera de toda la vida poco sitio para aparcar si no vas tempranito. bastante gente joven. agradable no extraña comer de bocata en playa. la gente deja normalmente la playa limpia. casi no hay desperdicios hay perros y no observo que a nadie le molesten. (tambien es cierto que están controlados, los dueños veo que se preocupan por no molestar)

Fantastic experience: My favorite beach since I arrived in Spain. Clean sand, warm water, and an amazing atmosphere! The only thing I miss is that it doesn't feel like the beaches in Brazil.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. We stopped to sleep in our camper van and the view is the best. I couldn't try the beach bars or any place, but the spot is very pretty.

Fantastic experience: 2 beach bars, surf school.. the only thing is that the restaurants are not always open

Positive experience: Ideal beach for surfing or water sports that are not incompatible with the waves, as it is a beach where it is windy and has swell, which is ideal for certain sports. It is worth mentioning that there is a surf school right next to it, showers, restrooms, and restaurants/bars nearby.

Negative experience: Que decir de mi playa que vivió tiempos mejores, el parking de tierra una auténtica gañanada de las administraciones públicas,los accesos para personas con discapacidad o emergencias, pésimos, el socorrismo y la supuesta normativa de acote de zonas de agua en verano, de chiste, lo menos adaptado a la realidad y seguridad que hay, los tienen ahí por tener porque dudo que en caso de una emergencia grave en la zona derecha de la playa lleguen a tiempo. La torreta de vigilancia de unos miles de euros, inútil y sin usar. Ahí queda que aún por encima te jode la vista del paisaje, para que nadie la use. Otra pésima gestión,tema basura en verano, pésimo. Cubos de basura a rebosar y comida por el suelo, no se quizás poner más cubos igual les supone mucho coste xd, gestión de caravanas. Pésimo, yo las quitaba, saturan lo poco que queda de una antigua duna de esta playa y aun por encima es turismo de mala calidad, he visto botellas de cerveza y basura diariamente a causa de eso. Los negocios de la zona pocos se salvan ya, cocacolas a 3 euros y sin atención en mesa, todo con el modelo de foodtruck, más que Galicia parecemos Yankeelandia. El desagüe de las caravanas en la zona del pico, en Praia de abra. Tiran las aguas fecales de sus caravanas en el mar, y como lo sé ? El olor pestilente y el color del agua vertida. Patos, una zona cada vez más empobrecida culturalmente. Y cada vez más usada única y exclusivamente para que se bañen los de secano en verano. Poco más que añadir. El resto se ve solo,diariamente.

Fantastic experience: Esta si que es la mejor playa del mundo y con diferencia. Situada en un marco natural incomparable, al frente las Islas Cies flanqueadas a la izquierda por Monteferro y a la derecha por Cabo Home, en días claros se ve hasta el camino de acceso al Faro de las Cies. Zonas de aparcamiento gratuitos, leiraprkings que por pocos euros te despreocupas de dar vueltas, chiringuitos, socorristas, zona para autocaravanas... lo tiene todo. El único "pero" las escuelas de surf que se adueñan de media zona de baño, pero están bien delimitadas y hay sitio para todos.

Fantastic experience: Magnífica playa, muy extensa, con arena blanca, agua cristalina y con vista a las islas Cies. Cuenta con un kiosko a pie de playa, servicio de socorristas, y si quieres picar algo también hay cerca varios locales. Si lo que os gusta es el deporte, también imparten clases de surf

Negative experience: This beach is no longer what it used to be. Crowded, commercialized, and sold to surfing. It's very sad what they have done to it.

Fantastic experience: Gran playa donde se practica surf desde tiempos inmemoriales con viento de norte o noroeste también se practica kitesurf. Está rodeada de chiringuitos tiendas de surf y escuelas.

Fantastic experience: Sin duda alguna es la mejor playa de la zona. Cuenta con bastante espacio para tumbarse y es muy llana. Ideal para pasear, jugar con niños, etc. También se puede hacer surf puesto que suelen haber bastantes olas y además existen varias escuelas en la zona, donde tomar clases o alquilar el equipo. Por último, la zona cuenta con bastante espacio de estacionamiento y posee diversos bares y restaurantes para tomar algo o comer/cenar.

Fantastic experience: Una de las playas más bonitas de la zona, la más famosa por el surf, aunque por ello algo masificada en temporada alta. Tiene chiringuitos y restaurantes de diversos tipos, muy buen ambiente.

Fantastic experience: Preciosa. Perfecto para surf o kayak surf aunque esté apenas se practica. Desde allí puedes empezar una ruta en bici hacia el sur y hasta La Guardia realmente bonita de unos 40kms
