Positive experience: I knew that the area to the left was for walking dogs and that you could hear the airplanes from the airport taking off.✈ However, I didn’t know that the beach was nudist. It was a surprise but I stayed. The beach is quite large and the heat on the day I went this summer (2024) was very pleasant. The only problem is the access. If you go by car, expect to find many curves and, if you go during the high season, the parking will be full and you will have to leave it in a hard-to-reach area, with a lot of dust and many potholes. I didn't see any fixed restrooms. That is to say, you are going to find a portable bathroom with a very small toilet... Overall, a very good experience with the sounds of the sea and the airplanes in the background (a sound that wasn’t bothersome for sleeping). And just in case someone has doubts... NO, I did not undress.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful paradise beach. I went with my dog. But what I found pitiful and very rude from some people was that they picked up the dog's poop in a bag and just threw it around the beach or the field up there. If you're going to do that, you might as well not pick it up because at least the poop disintegrates, but the bag does not. Moreover, there were trash cans in the parking lot; I don't think it's that difficult to take it there, and if you don't keep it, you can throw it away when you leave. It's because of some people that we all end up paying the price.

Negative experience: The beach itself is nice, but the bad thing is that in summer, especially on weekends, it gets overcrowded and parking is impossible. If you park in the accounts, you're sure to get a fine of 80 euros. That city council doesn't lift a finger or provide more parking spaces; they're only interested in collecting money.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach open to everyone. One of the 7 beaches out of 200 in Asturias that allows access with dogs... but be careful, it is full of irresponsible owners who do not keep their dogs on a leash and occasionally there is a risk of getting into an argument with someone...

Positive experience: It is one of our favorite beaches because of how extensive and natural it is, but every day it becomes more crowded, people park in the natural and restricted areas, parking is increasingly impossible, and not to mention the waste left by people, because it must be very difficult to pick up the baby food container, the lollipop sticks, or the empty bag of potato chips.

Fantastic experience: It is one of the largest in the region, surrounded by dunes and coastal vegetation. The water is usually cold, as is common in the beaches of the Cantabrian Sea. It is accessible by car and has nearby parking.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best beach throughout the Cantabrian Sea to walk with a friendly dog in peace... legally and safety. It's located around 15 minutes away from the A8 Spanish highway, that links the southwest of France with the northwest of Spain, in the surroundings of the Asturias' airport. The more than 2 km long of a thin and polished slaty sandy beach, the sanitation facilities and the environmentally and dog friendly users make it a highly recommended visiting place in a trip with your pet along the north of Spain. The one and only possible complaint, from my point of view, is that the nearest snack bar is 3 km away. Anyway, it's highly worth it!!!

Negative experience: The access is terrible, they have a sign that prohibits camping, which I think is fine, but then the access to the beach is blocked and there is no signage to get there.

Fantastic experience: Great beach for going with dogs, extensive and comfortable. Parking with direct access to the beach, it has showers, foot washes, and toilets, as well as a fountain for the dogs. Totally recommendable, the only downside is that when the sun is strong, the little ones burn their pads on the sand, it would be good to install a wooden walkway to the shore, we had to carry them in our arms.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, suitable for being with our dogs. It is extensive and well-maintained, with restrooms and showers. If you go on a high season weekend and arrive without early rising, it is complicated to find a parking spot because people arrive, dump their cars, and head to the beach without bothering to park properly. This creates good chaos in the parking lot as one wants to leave but can't because their car is blocked by others, etc. The parking has more entertainment than the beach, hehe. But other than that, it is spectacular and our dogs have a blast running freely. It is a wild beach in mid-August, and sometimes there is a red flag, but there is lifeguard service.

Positive experience: It's cool that there's a nudist area. It's a shame that there are so many dogs and that their owners don't respect the reserved area for them and take them everywhere. Then they talk about respect.

Negative experience: Very large beach with an area for pets; however, as soon as you enter, it is overcrowded. There are many owners who let their dogs loose and are not paying attention to them. We and another couple had a problem. The police told us it was a problematic beach that received several complaints.

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt, the best dog beach in the world, soft sand, three kilometers of sand, stunning scenery. It's wonderful to see them having a great time and to have a good beach for them, not the typical one that nobody wants with stones and is tiny. Whether with or without a dog, it’s worth going. We recommend going early as the parking fills up because it’s not very big, and if there’s no space, you have to park far away and it's a good uphill walk back to the car.

The parking area is a bit limited (for the large expanse of beach there is) and we only saw one access point, where you find a foot shower.

Fantastic experience: A spectacular beach, it has dark sand and looks like a pristine beach. It really catches the eye where it is located and it appears deserted. We went in October, the weather wasn't great, but a walk on the beach about 2 km long recharges your batteries. We took our dog, and she enjoyed it more than we did, as she could run with other dogs. There were very few people on the beach, and most of those who were there also had dogs.

Fantastic experience: A great beach with fine sand!!! It has free parking, it is one of the few dog-friendly beaches that are in excellent condition!!! The only thing I recommend during your visit is to be responsible and to act as if you have never been there, taking your trash and your dog's waste with you. There is a place to dispose of trash in the parking lot; there is no need to be so dirty and inconsiderate. For me, it is perfect, there are no beach bars, and there is nothing to eat. It’s just you and nature, amazing!!! I went in mid-September and we had an incredible time, 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: This could be the best dog beach I've ever been to. The access is good and it has ample parking, so we had no trouble finding a spot. The beach has fine sand; the day I visited it had some waves and we enjoyed it a lot, especially the furry one from home since the dog area is very large and has plenty of space to run and play with other dogs without bothering anyone. It has showers and restrooms in the parking area. Perfect for enjoying a day at the beach with the whole family.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches to go with our pet, super spacious area for dogs with fine sand. I recommend bringing food to spend the day as there is no beach bar. There are shower areas next to the parking lot and the beach is at the same level. No stairs and very easy access.

Fantastic experience: Incredible beach to come with dogs. People are respectful of the spaces, allowing you to let them loose without bothering the neighbor. Spectacular views and refreshing water! ⚠️ The only drawback is the access by car. The access is via a winding descent with low visibility. There is a beautiful viewpoint that is worth stopping at. There are two parking lots, they are a bit chaotic but everyone finds their spot haha.

Fantastic experience: I am still amazed by this amazing dog-friendly beach. Other beaches we have visited are rocky or poorly maintained. This beach is very clean, the sand is fine and it is HUGE. Dogs can run there without 'bothering' anyone. We went during the week and as seen in the video, there were hardly any people.

Amazing views and a must see for sunset ❤️ You should know though that you cannot walk all the beach when the tide is high cause it's kinda split in one part, which means if you wanne eat in the only existing bar you should go at low tide so you can enjoy the bar plus have a walk along all the beach. Cause driving takes you minimum 20 mins from one side of the beach to the other cause there the airport in the middle so you have to drive around. Note: And yes the beach really is huge. One side to another relaxed walking minimum 30 mins

Positive experience: A nice beach to walk along. We came looking for sea glass. Not the right beach for this. The rocks in the sea make great pictures. There is a lot of beach so you can play games and things. We were lucky to see people horse riding and got a few snaps too.
