Again lots of FREE parking (uk holiday resorts please note FREE parking) both on street and numerous car parks. A well maintained clean coast path which is great to enjoy walking by the sea. Positive experience: Toilets on the beach were disgusting. Difficult to park but the beach was great.

Positive experience: Nice and beautiful beach close to our vacation house. Clean an not too crowdy. It is a pitty that the bridge has not been repaired after it was destroyed in a big thunderstorm.
Fantastic experience: Playa de arena Blanca y fina. El agua a buena temperatura y bastante limpia. Se aparca en las cercanías sin dificultad (en agosto suele ser más complicado pero también se aparca). Hay chiringuitos. Hay mucha gente pero sin llegar a estar masificada.

Positive experience: The beach is relatively large with good parking facilities. However, there are many stones on the beach and there are also many jellyfish that get washed up.
Fantastic experience: Great beach. Plenty of parking in the neighborhood. Handicap spaces and ramps to the sand. Toilets and foot wash available. Looks like there are chaise rentals but I didn’t use. Bring a volleyball. There’s a net for active fun.

Positive experience: One of the most popular beaches in the area. As a result, it tends to be very crowded during the season, especially on weekends. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. Usually, the water is quite clean; occasionally, algae appear, but on specific days. It has beach bars with high prices and regular quality, although next to it there is an area with multiple restaurants. Very limited parking, practically impossible in summer. In 2022 it suffered the effects of a storm and has not been properly restored; it has lost width and there are quite a few stones in the water access; it's a shame that the local authorities have not taken it seriously enough to maintain the level it has always had.

Positive experience: Buen lugar para ir a pasar el día, con diferentes actividades para hacer como motos de agua, inflables acuáticos,etc, a parte chiringuito cerca y bastantes socorristas lo cuáles están bastante atentos, la única pega por poner alguna que para los niños muy pequeños hay un poquito de olas .

Fantastic experience: La playa es larga. Está limpia. Es de arena fina. Creo que es la primera sin piedras grandes. La Glea también está muy bien. Tiene un escalón pero nada peligroso. Ésta no sé si en esquinas habrá restos de piedras, en la mayoría no. Nos situamos a la mitad en zona sin aparcamiento público, solo en calle. Como resultado la zona de la playa estaba mucho menos masificada. Distintos accesos. Con rampa y escaleras todos. Cubre de poco en poco y oleaje bajo normalmente. Temperatura del agua muy buena. Y fuera se puede estar por la brisa. Ideal para niños. Importante buena protección pues x la humedad pega muchísimo, y gorrito para el cuerpo cabelludo de niños especialmente. Tiene zona de juegos, hinchables, en la zona de la playa más cercana a Mar Menor, para niños, jóvenes y adultos. También, entretenimiento con paracaídas, y otros. Chiringuitos por toda la playa. Aparcamientos públicos. Socorristas. Me ha gustado.

Positive experience: Cool beach, but too crowded in the summer, a lot of human trash spotted in the sea, and the public toilets are horrendous with diarrhea all over the seat and the floor left uncleaned for days, that I had to hold my pee until I got home

Positive experience: Beautiful beach, clear sea, day of fun waves.
Positive experience: Información del lugar: Mil Palmeras es una localidad que se encuentra junto al mar, pedanía dependiente del término municipal de Pilar de la Horadada y de Orihuela en la parte norte del Río Seco, en la provincia de Alicante, España. Se trata de un pueblo costero, nacido como urbanización adyacente a la costa del municipio, se encuentra enmarcado junto a la desembocadura natural del Río Seco, río enramblizado que recorre unos 16 km atravesando todo el municipio de Pilar de la Horadada. En Mil Palmeras se pueden disfrutar de tres playas de arena blanca y fina: Playa de Mil Palmeras, Playa Vista Mar y Playa Río Seco La fiesta más importante es la romería de la Virgen de la Alegría, se celebra la primera semana de agosto. En la localidad existen diversos restaurantes, bares, cafeterías, pubs y hoteles y apartahoteles.

Fantastic experience: Actually so good that it shouldn't even be rated. Dear families, please go somewhere else, there’s nothing to see here. Neither a perfectly relaxing huge parking lot, nor great shallow water, nor a complete RIVER MOUTH running through the beach that offers plenty of entertainment for children. Please go somewhere else, because one thing the beach is definitely NOT: spacious. Anyone who calls this spacious knows only mountain hiking as a vacation, is shortsighted, or willingly vacations in S'Illot. Please go there next year if you are so undemanding. I will be here.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, large and spacious. With all the entertainment you want: beach bar, jet skis, parasailing, pedal boats, banana boat, etc.... it has facilities to wash your feet on the way out and lots of parking on the surrounding streets. A very good beach to spend a day with family.
Fantastic experience: The space at Mil Palmeras is excellent! They have food service and an area with umbrellas or sunbeds with canopies. The beach is cold but refreshing in summer! The number of people is quite substantial, but there is always room to enjoy. There is public parking nearby and easy access.

Positive experience: Great beach and cafe. Sea is safe and calm, cafe good food and very affordable. Very busy and there were not really enough sun loungers to hire over the weekend, but that’s because it’s a popular spot. So why not 5 stars? The toilets are absolutely disgusting. We were at the beach 6 times over a 10 day holiday and I don’t think they can have been cleaned once, or the bins emptied. Even arriving quite early in the day it was horrible. Open bins overflowing with soiled toilet paper and an awful smell. Surely they could be hosed out a couple of times a day? This really lets the place down.

Fantastic experience: Lovely sandy beach with two chiringuitos here either side of the rio seco. Beach is in full swing in late June with inflatables in the sea, pedalos for hire, paragliding and banana boats. Short walk to restaurants with lots of choice. Bridge has now been reopened over the rio seco which makes it very convenient.
