Fantastic experience: Extensive beach and not as crowded as those in Barcelona. However, parking by car is complicated, so I suggest going by motorcycle.
Fantastic experience: I was looking for a beach just outside Barcelona good for families with a shower facilities and I found this one. It's absolutely great. It has small shops around it and is accessible by train. We took a taxi though. Was about €28 from Barcelona but for a family of 4 with 2 young kids it made more sense. The beach itself was clean, was not busy and has a lot of sports facilities mainly volleyball. Water is deep and wavy though so I would exercise caution with children. Water is spectacularly clean more or less clear and the sand is more coarse which is easily cleaned off. I love it.
Negative experience: Impossible to park… in the whole town, a maximum of two hours…
Positive experience: It's a quiet beach where there is usually plenty of space. It's hard to find the sea calm, without waves, because there is almost always a breeze and small waves. In recent years, there have usually been jellyfish, which is the only downside. There is paid parking at the yacht club. If you have a day without little waves and without jellyfish, the beach is very nice.
Fantastic experience: I really liked it, the only downside is that parking is very difficult and there are no signs for people coming from outside. I had to park at the port and it cost me €30 for the whole day, ridiculously expensive.

Positive experience: The water was clean but the beach could use some cleaning. No bins or public toilets. A lot of dogs running around and swimming. Nothing special.

Positive experience: You arrive without problems, white sand, good place to play ball but not good for bathing children, strong waves.
Positive experience: I didn't like the sand at all, too many people. But other than that, everything was fine.
Positive experience: Spacious and with plenty of sand. Quite a few jellyfish. Red Cross nearby. Good location. Train nearby. And many beach bars in the sand area. Difficult parking or under payment.
Fantastic experience: I love it, it's my go-to beach, but year after year we are left with less beach, the sea is eating away the sand, it's a shame.

Fantastic experience: Beach with calm waves, clear waters, good depth, and extensive shores. Sailboats pass by, which makes the scenery very attractive, and you can also see the city in front. There is a beach bar if you want to have a snack.

Fantastic experience: A clean beach, clear sea. Perfect for playing in the waves. Be sure to bring an umbrella. You can get here by train from Plaça de Catalunya in central Barcelona. In my opinion, it's one of the best places in Barcelona for a beach holiday. The locals come here. It's also close to the markets.

Negative experience: We have been coming to this beach for years, but the last two times the water has been disgusting..... It's full of dirt, today I found sanitary pads, tampons, shirts, cigarette butts..... A few other turds floating in the water... We won't be coming back.....
Fantastic experience: Quite clean, you can be at ease.
