Moncofa Beach

Fantastic experience: Pequeña pero encantadora, esta cala es perfecta para quienes buscan tranquilidad. El acceso es sencillo y no había mucha gente, incluso en verano. Llévate gafas de bucear, hay fauna marina interesante.

Positive experience: La playa es de piedras por los que es recomendable escarpines de playa porque sino es bastante incómodo entrar a la playa. De resto un lugar perfecto, tranquilo, familiar, con pescadores... fuimos en junio pero seguramente el aparcamiento en verano debe ser complicado.

Positive experience: Pleasant beach, monitored and well-equipped. (Toilets, shower, wooden path). Restaurants/bar by the sea.

Fantastic experience: This area is also relaxing during the Christmas holidays. With such views of the Mediterranean Sea to the east and the Sierra de Espadán to the west, 'New Year's Eve' can be unforgettable.

Fantastic experience: We really like Moncofar beach. It is always clean and well-maintained, and the promenade is very nice. I don't like that they have bullfighting nearby because I don't like passing by when it takes place; it limits my freedom to go to the beach on certain dates. I would like the possibility of moving it to a fixed place where it doesn't bother those of us who don't like it. Another thing I don't like is that they don't allow dogs even on a leash; I know there is a dog beach, but it is quite far away. And finally, there could be some dim lighting at night in certain areas because sometimes you feel like going there at night, and you can't see anything at all.

Fantastic experience: Está muy bien y limpia .lo bueno que tiene ducha de perro y para nosotros. La única pega sería que tendría que ser un poco más grande . Porque hay mucha gente con sus perros y lo bueno es que tenemos socorristas.

Negative experience: He vivido en muchos lugares...este con diferencia el Peor. ..no hay nada ..la gente borde el peor servicio médico q vi en mi vida,aunq si quieres maltrato en la farmacia son horribles groseras y creídas..turismo solo familiar de la zona no hay bares y el glamour no les visita ni en agosto.. España profunda!! Cazadores! Gente q dice no hablar castellano aquí ...q fuera si ..es aquí q no les nace ..playa sucia y son odiadores de perros no dejan perros en ningún sitio ..de la policía local en la línea de lo demás

Fantastic experience: Playa sana, con servicios de todo tipo. Muchísima vida en pleno verano y mucha vida el resto del año por cercanías a Castellón como a Valencia. Castellón es fantástico.

Positive experience: Der Strand an sich ist gut, dank Steinen sieht das Wasser schön türkis aus. Der Strand ist lang und breit. Am besten mit einem Liegestuhl hingehen, sonst wird es hart zum liegen. Eigentlich hätte ich auch 5 Sterne gegeben, aber ich muss schreiben, was mich gestört hat. Obwohl an der Küste von Moncofa unendlich viele Strände gibt, ist nur ein kleiner Abschnitt als Strand für Hunde gemacht(danke auch dafür, viele Strände Spaniens erlauben gar keine Hunde). Der Hundestrand ist gemischt von Steinen und Sand, war sehr gut, Natur rundum. Nur... keine Essenmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, keine Toiletten. Da hat mich Spanien sehr enttäuscht. Spazierengehen mit Hund der Küste entlang ist nicht erlaubt, was mich sehr gestört hat. Unsere Unterkunft (sehr tierfreundlich) war 3 km vom Hundestrand entfernt, mit einem Kind und zwei kleinen Hunden war es nicht so einfach zu laufen, google maps zeigte angeblich den Weg von 33 min, es waren aber deutlich mehr, und das hin und am Abend zurück, mit Strandsachen bei der Hitze. An der Küste zu laufen wäre einfacher. Einmal hat mein Kind versucht an einem beinahe menschenleeren Strand sich im Wasser abzukühlen, die Hunde saßen und warteten und sofort tauchte eine Dame auf und wies darauf hin, dass es kein Hundestrand ist. Aus weichem Grund viele Menschen generell denken, dass sie was besseres sind, als die Tiere, und schaffen dann auch komische Gesetze und Beschränkungen für die Tiere, weiss ich nicht... Hunde sind auch im Bus nicht erlaubt, was hier in Deutschland als selbstverständlich ist, dass man den Hund mit in den Bus nimmt. Alles im allem Moncofa und Spanien an sich ist ein Land mit freundlichen netten Menschen und total absurden Regeln was die Tiere angeht. Da muss noch viel für die Tierfreundlichkeit gemacht werden.

Positive experience: Nice beach with pebbled shore and a sandy bathing area (low tide). It has showers when you leave the beach, which is appreciated.

Positive experience: Es ist ein Stein Strand, die Promenade ist nichts besonderes, es gibt ein Paar Restaurants der Hälfte macht in der neben Saison nur von Donnerstags bis Sonntags auf

Negative experience: Si vas por la noche vete con linterna y seguridad privada.

Negative experience: PLAYA MUY PELIGROSA, por la profundidad nada más pasar la orilla y la falta de socorristas.

Negative experience: PLAYA PELIGROSA. Mucha gente no se baña por miedo a los hoyos dentro del agua, y el escalón de piedras de la entrada/salida. Los socorristas no aparecen antes de las 11h.

Positive experience: Playa bonita la pena las piedras. Los socorristas dejan un poco que desear. Pero por lo demás bien

Fantastic experience: The beach of Grao de Moncofa is quite extensive and can be walked without much trouble. It is all quite clean and tidy, although when I went it was shortly after the DANA and it is true that it needs some tidying up, but other than that, very nice, with different elements to see like boats or colorful structures.

Fantastic experience: Un sitio estupendo si buscas el relax máximo y desconexión total. No esperes ningún lujo porque el único que encontrarás es La Paz que transmiten las olas Del Mar. Muy recomendable también para hacer deportes de agua, kite surf, wind surf…y sobre todo para hacer ciclismo porque encontrarás buenas rutas.

Fantastic experience: Un sitio estupendo si buscas el relax máximo y desconexión total. No esperes ningún lujo porque el único que encontrarás es La Paz que transmiten las olas Del Mar. Positive experience: Playa limpia y con un buen paseo de playa en su extensión, dispone en su recorrido diversos bares o chiringuitos para tomar copas o comida. Lo negativo es que es una playa de piedra sin arena en toda ella.
