Mazagón Beach
Information
Playa de Mazagón is a beautiful and extensive beach located in Huelva, Spain, known for its soft sand and warm waters. Visitors appreciate its clean environment, family-friendly atmosphere, and the relatively easy access via wooden walkways. The beach is often described as tranquil despite usually having a moderate crowd, making it an ideal spot for families.
However, there are some concerns regarding pollution due to nearby industrial activities, which may detract from the overall experience. Users have reported the presence of litter and the need for more waste management solutions. Moreover, the lack of sufficient amenities, such as showers and changing facilities, has been noted.
Highlights of Playa de Mazagón include:
- Clear water and soft sand, perfect for long walks and relaxation.
- Good access to parking, although it can fill up quickly.
- Nearby restaurants offering quality food and drinks.
While some visitors enjoyed the beach's natural beauty and family-friendly qualities, others expressed the need for better management of facilities and environmental conditions.

Positive experience: A very calm beach, with no waves. It has free parking. It has showers.
Positive experience: The beach overall is good, easy access and parking (1€) on dirt. However, it was dirtier than one would want to find it. Close to beach bars and restaurants.
Positive experience: A good beach to enjoy the summer in Huelva. It is usually easy to park, and the access to the beach is well maintained. It is a quiet beach despite not being crowded.
Positive experience: Very beautiful and spacious beach, the access road is via a wooden walkway, and the path feels long. There are parking spaces, but you have to go early to get one.
Negative experience: To get from Seville, Google Maps takes you on a route, set the direction to El Rocío and then Mazagón.

Negative experience: The beach is not bad. But neither THE CIVIL GUARD nor THE LOCAL POLICE come when you call them. We are in the Picacho area and the fishermen with their rods, FISHING IS PROHIBITED AT ONE IN THE AFTERNOON, and their DOGS keep bothering the bathers. I have called the law enforcement and they ignore everything. WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS AREA AND TO ANYONE WHO ASKS ME, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT...
Fantastic experience: We like Mazagón beach because nearby there is a dog beach and it's great!! It's called El Vigia, it's a small beach and has iodine, but it helps my dog to unwind and take a good dip.

Fantastic experience: The water is warm, there aren't many people considering that today is Saturday.
Fantastic experience: We like Mazagón beach because nearby there is a dog beach and it's great!! It's called El Vigia, it's a small beach and has iodine, but it helps my dog to unwind and take a good dip.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, clean and good access.
Positive experience: Beautiful wide beach.
Negative experience: Very beautiful beach. But be very careful with your health as its surroundings are full of highly polluting factories. I do not recommend it to people with sensitive lungs because it can be a true nightmare.
Negative experience: Only factories in its surroundings. Careful, danger to everyone's health... It shouldn't even be a beach.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful white sand beach, ideal for walking and enjoying relaxation on a nice sunny day.

Fantastic experience: Nos gustó mucho la playa
Negative experience: The beach is nice... but around it, it's ONLY FACTORIES TRYING TO HIDE BEHIND SOME TREES, BUT IT'S JUST POLLUTION. SERIOUSLY, THERE WAS EVEN BLACK SMOKE. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR LUNGS! (tip from your friend here!) I think there is a lack of water! The beach has little water.

Fantastic experience: The best beach to spend the day from Seville
Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in the world and without tourists, I honestly don't know why they give so much fame to the beaches of the Canary Islands when these are much better.
Fantastic experience: These beaches are amazing, plenty of space to settle in and a good family atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach, it's worth getting to know it and enjoying both the sea and its beach bars.
Positive experience: We have been before to spend the day because it's so nice, but I give it only three because of the lack of restrooms and the showers didn't work this year, so we had to go back home with the sand and salt on our bodies as a souvenir.
Fantastic experience: Quiet beach, residential area. That day we saw dolphins swimming along the shore, an incredible experience. Difficult parking but with patience you can find it. Beautiful views of the sunset.
