Fantastic experience: Good beach to go in summer, it has plenty of parking spaces, but you need to go early.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful sandy beach. Comfortable, surrounded by restaurants, shops, etc... however, parking is complicated, there needs to be a much larger public parking area.

Fantastic experience: Another one of the beaches in the municipality, this beach is considered urban, located in the center of the Bay of Xábia, in the urban area that gives it its name. It is the most known and frequented for being the only beach with coarse sand and shallow water. It has a length of 480 meters and the degree of occupancy is high. It has all the services to make our day pleasant, fun, and safe at the beach. There is a promenade that houses a wide range of busy shops, cafes, and restaurants. Next to it, there is a canal that provides access to the sea for small vessels. At its northern end, there is the Punta de Arenal, where the Parador de Turismo is located, and at its southern end, the Mirador Punta del Castell is situated.
Fantastic experience: I visited here a few times in September and I must say that I love this beach. However, it should be emphasized that I was just there in the middle of September and there were quite few people, while all the shops and restaurants were open. Easy to find parking right by the beach. The sand is clean. The only negative thing was the music from the nearby restaurant.

Positive experience: Limpia y grande. Pero llena de colillas por el suelo. también vi excrementos de perro a la salida. Incívicos. ¿Nos sabéis lo que es recoger los restos de vuestros perros con una bolsa verde?
Negative experience: En esta época del año, están algunas cosas cerradas y fuera de servicio. La playa no está bien espero que se deba a los últimos temporales y no a dejadez del ayuntamiento (que también). Por cierto había perros sueltos en la arena campando a sus anchas con sus dueños....
Positive experience: Hermosa playa, excelente para ir con peques, sin apenas oleaje, no cubre nada y tiene columpios a la altura del paseo. Lastima que la falta de conciencia de la mayoria nos haga quedar como seres contaminantes (y luego los que no pueden entrar son los perros). La arena esta llena de colillas y plasticos, muy sucia.
Fantastic experience: Nice little beach, quiet in February so fine to take the dogs for a run. Some of the cafés are pretty dog friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Sandy beach, crystal clear and shallow waters. In August it is a bit crowded, but that is usual for a Mediterranean beach in August.

Fantastic experience: Nice and neat every morning. Calm water and perfect for children. One of the few sandy beaches in the area. Usually busy, but not 'crowded' like the beaches in Albir, Calpe, and Benidorm.

Fantastic experience: Un petit coin de paradis à Jávea ! La Playa de l’Arenal est tout simplement magnifique. Le sable est fin, la mer est turquoise et peu profonde, parfaite pour les enfants comme pour les adultes qui veulent se détendre. L’ambiance est conviviale, et on y trouve plein de restaurants, glaciers et bars juste en face de la plage, avec une belle promenade animée le soir. Mention spéciale pour la propreté et la sécurité de la plage. C’est toujours un plaisir d’y passer la journée, que ce soit pour se baigner, bronzer ou simplement profiter du coucher de soleil. Un incontournable de la Costa Blanca !
Negative experience: It is not up to the standard of a place like Javea. The beach is overcrowded with a waterfront filled with shops (except for the Austrian bakery and the clothing store next to it) and low-quality restaurants (mini Benidorm). The beach is dirty, and the sand and water don't look very good. I had a very bad experience regarding safety at a laundromat in the Arenal area. Javea needs to control overcrowding, cheap weekend tourism, and limited safety. It is no longer what it was.
Positive experience: Playa con aguas claras, aunque no se entiende que esté llena de algas la mayor parte de la orilla del mar con una acumulación enorme. La arena está muy sucia, llena de colillas de tabaco, plásticos de la gente que deja su marca personal y no se molesta en llevarse lo que ellos mismos manchan. Como nota curiosa. Un dron que suele dar vueltas de seguridad para posibles atenciones dentro del mar. Sería una zona de 10 si la playa estuviera más limpia y controlada por las competencias oportunas.
Positive experience: Me gusta que es arena. No hay rocas. No hay desniveles pronunciados al entrar en el agua y se agradece. Lo que había demasiada gente con no mucho espacio de seguridad por covid.

Fantastic experience: Una de las mejores playas de la costa de Jávea. El mar y la arena están muy limpios. La playa ofrece alquiler de tumbonas y sombrillas, patines acuáticos, tablas de paddle surf, motos acuáticas, kayak, numerosos grifos para lavarte los pies y una gran variedad de restaurantes a lo largo de la playa. Muchas tiendas de ropa y bazares. En general es una playa preciosa y la recomiendo mucho
Fantastic experience: Una playa en forma de concha con arena fina y desnivel poco pronunciado. Dispone de sombrillas y hamacas. En verano tiene patines, piraguas, tablas de palé surf, etc de alquiler. Tiene un paseo marítimo con todo tipo de servicios . En uno de sus puntales tiene la entrada de un canal donde alquilar barcas y motos de agua. En este canal hay un montón de amarres y creo que algunos se pueden alquilar por semanas. Una zona preciosa pero en agosto un poco saturada.
Fantastic experience: Gepflegter Stadtstrand. Heute gab's nur gute Wellen für Surfer. Aber der Ausblick auf Monte Go und den Wellen gleichzeitig ist grandios. Am Besten von den südlichen Lokalen aus.

Negative experience: La playa está bastante sucia. Hay bastante algas acumuladas en las orillas que dificulta bastante la entrada. Y cuando sales tienes que pasar a través de las algas que se acumula en la orilla que es bastante desagradable. Me da la impresión que llevan bastante tiempo sin limpiar la playa. Esta masificada de gente y muy sucia. Nada recomendable. Si pasais por Jávea , recomiendo más visitar la cala sardinera donde hay poca gente, es más tranquilo , el agua está más limpia , es cristalina e incluso se puede hacer snorkel o Portixol donde el agua es también bastante limpia, cristalina y hay bastante vistas bonitas aunque como inconveniente diría que está bastante masificada.

Fantastic experience: very nice beach with a very interesting sea. you can snorkel here and see many different species of fish and other sea animals! the beach also has a promenade with many restautants and other shops. this beach also has a small harbor where you can rent paddle boats and jet skis. It can be very crowded on this beach so i would recommend coming in the morning to get yourself a nice spot.

Positive experience: Fijn om met de kinderen naar toe te gaan. Er staan leuke speeltoestellen op het strand die ook vanaf diverse terassen goed in het zicht zijn.

Fantastic experience: Hace casi 40 que fui por primera vez, cuando casi era un "pueblo de pescadores" con turismo extranjero y poco masificado. Poco a poco he ido viendo como se convierte en un "Benidorm", con mucho tráfico, dificultad para aparcar, colas y esperas... de cualquier modo, no lo cambio, tiene todo lo que necesitas para disfrutar, descansar y divertirte. En cuanto al baño, la playa ofrece hueco para todo y para todos. Ideal para ir con niños pequeños y mayores

Fantastic experience: Been coming since I was a small child. Only downside in last few years in there is no pontoon at the arenal. Access to more things is available such as kayak, SUP, and pedalos make it a great day whether swimming or doing an activity. Huge access to drinks and food and anything you may have forgotten.
Positive experience: Es una playa bastante buena de agua clara, con pececitos, y un buen pasro maritimo con varias tiendas incuida un alehop. Tienen un puesto para hacer diversas actividades acuaticas como Kayak, Snorkel y demas. El agua esta normal.

Positive experience: This central beach is very pleasant. Finding sand in the area relieves the feet, and it is very nice to be surrounded by shops and other bathers. The vibrancy of such a coastal city, in my opinion, adds to the charm of this beach.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. It is a sandy beach (no rocks), highly recommended to visit!
Negative experience: I have been spending my summers at Arenal beach for several years, and this is the first year that there is no water in the beach faucets to wash my feet; instead, there is a paid shower. Many days the water doesn't work at all, and on others it only works at certain times. It's incredible how focused they are on collecting money.

Negative experience: Gestion douteuse de la part de la mairie. En été la baignade est souvent interdite car les égouts se déversent dans la mer et le niveau de pollution est trop élevé (matière fécale). Par contre en hiver, on a plus le droit d’aller avec son chien sur la plage alors que la plus grande partie des personnes qui se ballade sur la digue à cette période ont un chien. Il faudrait que la mairie prenne ses responsabilités et règle les vrais problèmes.
Fantastic experience: Jàvea ist seit 41 Jahren der Ferienort unserer 1. Wahl. Wir mieten immer ein Haus mit Pool und das Angebot ist riesig und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht! Der Strand Platja de l'Arenal ist super sauber, feinkörnig und die Rest. Angebote sehr vielschichtig und eher sehr gute Küche⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I have been vacationing for 15 years and each time it gets worse. A beach year after year with a blue flag, and now a dirty beach in every aspect, problems with the main plumbing, water cuts in the foot showers, odors, everything is problems and inconveniences. I hope they awaken or they will be left alone.

Fantastic experience: This was the first Beach I walked on bare foot in 10 years after suffering from a Brain Haemorrhage, well kept clean and plenty of sun loungers to soak up the sun and relax, the promenade is wide and accessible for disabled people with a great night life

Positive experience: There are rows of static sun loungers and parasols here, but it's worth noting that renting a couple of loungers and a parasol at 4pm cost me €25. If you're planning to come here more than once during your holiday, it's likely worth buying an umbrella from the town and bringing it along.

Fantastic experience: This place is the jewel in the Crown along the Costa blanca coast line. The beach will delight you with its pristine white sandy beach set against the stunning blue crystal clear waters , the dramatic scenery is a joy. Hugging the promenade are some wonderful resteraunts that will tantalise your senses from the minute you step inside and drink in the beautiful ambiance and set your taste buds alight with the delicious foods they offer . Positive experience: This beach and the restaurants have suffered greatly this year. The beach itself is lovely, especially without the seaweed/seagrass. Considering it must one of the top tourist attractions in the area it is taking an awful long time to rebuild the promenade area after the storm. Even with covid19 other areas have recovered a lot faster.

Positive experience: Lovely in the morning! Very quiet, lots of nice bars and restaurants. Only thing at the moment some redecorations of the beach is happening, with bulldozers and excavators carrying palm trees to the seafront.
Fantastic experience: What a beautiful beach, the whole area surrounding this beach is amazing, super clean and organized and great shops, bars and restaurants, and sunsets are to die for, they also have a little park for sports and they have lots of kids toys and for the water, little tip there's an ice cream place where they serve a great local delicacy that you must try, Horchata, thank me later.
